Lazy Dungeon Master

Town of Meekan (1)

That's how I got to Meekan, Zia's next town.

Not as big as Zia, but a pretty big wall seems to surround the town.

Also, the area seemed to be ranching, and there were sheep and shepherds.

"It's been a long way... I thought I could sleep in the carriage... you've been busy showing off"

"I'm leaving quite a few monsters on the road. I was wondering if the bandits would leave, but they didn't like it this time."

The monster, anyway, seems the bandit won't be attacked unless it's the one so confident in his arms with the noble crest on it.

Well, that's like saying we turn the aristocracy against our enemies.

"I don't even have an escort I can see in one carriage, so I thought I'd catch it."

"Maybe that's what it was all about?

"Bandits are fine, because killing them or catching them will be money. It's Kim Zulu."

Wataru, you're staining this world to the roots of your heart. I certainly can't go back to Japan.

By the way, I didn't end up being a wild house on the road, but isn't this usually even a small village? Accommodation town, or something like that.

And Gozo answered that question.

"Accommodation town? That's somewhere, but that's where there's no more monsters out there. They'll eat you up in no time."

"... Didn't you even have a village or something near Zia?

"Near Zia is a pioneering place. In a way, it's the front line with nature. Besides, if you had a lodging town on such a short distance, you'd have less escort requests, and you'd be in business."

... Is that what it is?

Nojuku had to take turns watching after he didn't sleep well, so I regretted the trip. Yeah.... is that it? Speaking of which, I'm hiring Wataru, so I should have left it all to Wataru...

... Yep. Well, I could hear a lot from your lord. Let's just say. Horse feed is those weeds, but when it wasn't there was a factional battle to summon the leaves in [Colfader] and grow grass in [Groweed], and if you're an animal other than a horse, you call it a horse if you're going to pull a carriage, and so on, all sorts of stories that really don't matter.

"Nah, let's just get into town. We're so hungry."

"Whoa, strawberries, make it a cake. If you want to get in just now, you can use the entrance and exit for nobility.... Well, Lop, we'll be fine here when we're officially B-ranked, too."

"Oh, but that way, the toll is high, too. This time, I usually use the general gate because your toll is not free at your usual request."

"... that's a good place for an adventurer aristocrat to choose there. You can go out in the middle of the night, right?

Since the strawberries are hungry, I decided to just go in and out through the entrance for the nobility.

The review was a snarky one, and as Maiodor had said, I was able to get into town smoothly.

Inside Meekan's walls, it felt like Zia was a long idle (idyllic) countryside.

The exterior walls and buildings themselves are not so different, but the spacing is wider. That's closer to the Empire, isn't it? and a population density that makes me want to tilt my neck. No, it's a lot.

"Livestock needs a lot of breadth, so we're going to have relatively few people. Demographically, Zia is more. And then at the time this town was created, parchment production was flourishing and people were plentiful, but they also said that the development of paper in the Brave Men's Workshop had reduced demand and that artisans and other things had moved elsewhere. … now they think they can satisfy the demand for parchment without having to increase it with healing magic."

I see. Is that why there is so much land and so few people?

"Do you want to head to the Adventurer Guild for now? Your Highness, please."

"Oh, a salad-wrapped stall. Meekan's classic."

"Salad rolls? Like what?

"I cooked the flour thinly, so roll the finely chopped vegetables and the roasted lamb."

That usually looks delicious. Raw spring roll, no, is that a vegetable crepe? No, seriously, it's like I heard there's also that type of shishkebab.... Is it a trail of the brave Ishidaka?

"I want to eat, too. Buy it, Kama, I'll give you the money!

"Oh, well, we'll be there. When I leave this kind of shopping to you"

"I want a skewer of lamb."

"Saya, seniors want to eat meat. I don't like the type. But you eat vegetables, too?

"... Yes, yes, it's good to buy, but later. Ever since the guild went. It's all kinds of tight to stop by this crested carriage."

Besides, I just want to go to the inn. The last four days in the wild... the carriage was a woman, and the man slept tented outside, so I wanted to sleep in my room.

It's the same tent in a sleeping bag with your wife in Gozo on Wataru, so it was too small to use offton. Goddamn it, I'm gonna grab Offton today, Offton. And a pillow (Nik).

"Wataru. Let's stay in this town for about two days. I want to sleep away."

"We have supplies to replenish, so we originally planned to stay two nights."

Good for you. I'm not leaving the inn tomorrow.

Looks like we even got to the Adventurer Alliance while we were saying this. Pretty busy.

"There are a lot of monsters out here targeting livestock, so there are a lot of adventurers out there looking to crusade."

"Uh, so what?"

"Then we'll take care of the carriage, so please report your arrival. Oh, this is the package I requested for delivery here."

"Aye.... hey. What about Rocco and the strawberries?

When I realized there were no two of them. Did you get lost, too, because you've come this far by carriage with me, and that's just right?

"He said there was a stall nearby, so I went to buy it. They'll be right back."

"... well, if it comes with strawberries, is it okay? Well, then, Nik, I need you to help me carry my stuff."

I took the package I received from Wataru and took Nik into the guild.

When I enter the guild, I feel the gaze that binds us.

"Um, where's the counter to accomplishing the request? I brought the package for the delivery request."

"Ah, here it is. Welcome to Meekan Branch."

Someone who looks like a receptionist will show you around and get to the counter safely.

"Then this, and then this. Check it out."

"Yes....!? Oh, oh, uh, wata...... Mm-hmm. Yes, I checked. Are you sure you want to distribute the rewards evenly to all collaborators?"

"Oh, so please"

And Wataru came into the guild where he had it handled so far. On purpose, quiet back for a moment.

"Is that it? What, are you okay?"

"Safe. You, you thought maybe I'd make a commotion with this much use?

"Oh no. As a matter of fact, when I first came to the guild here, I was forcefully involved in saying," I'll help you with a little fee. "I was wondering if the Japanese still look like a child... Hey, Mr. Ball?

"That verse was very disrespectful, not knowing you were a brave man."

Gathai's good adventurers, voiced by Wataru, look away at first sight.

I thought I was a duck, and I talked to him, and he was a brave S-rank adventurer.... I guess the fact that a warm wattage says this much was quite persistently and maliciously entangled.

"If that had happened, you would have already repented. Didn't they tell you to watch out for brunette adventurers or something? Thanks to you, I was able to report on my request."

"Was I? Hey, Mr. Ball, glad you didn't get your hands on it. I've tried this guy a few times, but he's never won."

"Yes!? Are you stronger than the brave man?!?

Speaking of which, he did win mock fights with squid gambling and handouts, but I guess that makes him different about being strong.

"Besides, I tried the Flame Dragon the other day to win unharmed. In these two pairs."

"That disaster, take kids to A-rank designated monsters!?

Well, that's what happens. That's a farce made because Flame Dragon (Igni) was Itetz's daughter. I don't know.

"Hey, stop it, Wataru. You know I don't like that kind of noise."

"Wouldn't it be nice once in a while? I don't usually leave the base anyway."

What do you care? You didn't call my name earlier, you said I was based in the village of Gorraine, you're protecting your personal information. I guess Wataru is also consciously riding badly.

Nick looks happy. I'm pretending to be your tail.

"... by the way, it's stronger this way than me -"

"Your husband?

"A Toddler Girl Stronger Than A Man Stronger Than A Brave Man......!?

When I put Nik forward, Nik looks at Wataru and says, bewildered.

"Er... this one is stronger,"

"Braver, stronger man, stronger toddler, stronger braver!

"Haha, you no longer know what it is"

Wataru laughs in a good mood. Did I say ball or something? I like Nori. Maybe I'll buy you a drink later.
