Lazy Dungeon Master

Final day of qualifying tournament (2)

The battle on the last day of the qualifying round is finally good. All we have left is our own finals.

The third-place decision doesn't make sense in the qualifying round, so they're going to do it at an entertainment level after the finals.

"I thought I'd do it before the finals and pull it off."

"Oh, Rocco's master. The demon kingdoms are swine rushing, right?

"Let's get to the finals."

Differences in temperament are cultural differences, I think there are.

So it's Nik's qualifying final.

That's right. Nik is nervous too - and I don't think so at all. He confronted his opponents with the usual faceless expression and unwilling tail.

"Nik's final opponent is the Werewolf Man"

"No, Master of Locco. Those are werewolves."

"... hmm? A warwolf, a monster's?

"Yeah. Though?

In the Devil Nation, monsters usually don't hide the fact that they're monsters, so they live like humans.... In the Empire, Misha insisted on being a cat beast man.

"I guess that means the Devil Nation is more nostalgic around here"

"Yeah, if you're strong, that's fine. Most of us (Dungeon Core) say that monsters have less DP, so it's hard to get more."

"Right. Well, I don't know how it's different from a human being and a monster, but if we'd seen it, we'd have made that difference."

The opponent's warwolf is covered in hair all over his body, his head is completely wolf, his upper body is muscular and his lower body is slightly wolfish. Sounds like an early leg. About 75% Chemo, it was just the right warwolf for being called a 'werewolf'.

On the finals stage, Nik and Warwolf across the street. The referee's signal is still a little later.

And, Warwolf laughs hun with his nose.

"Does it make sense for a dog to beat a wolf?

"If you win, you win, right?

"Ha ha! Don't be nasty, little girl! I like it! I think I can make a strong one, have mine!

"I refuse?

What are you talking about before the game, that warwolf? Shall I snipe your groin from here?

"You're passionate and nice. I want my master to have that temper, too."

"Oh, that's how Idee and Sebastian get along?

"It's an analogy. But do you like strong males? I want you to succumb and serve me."

Idee says woot with her hands on her cheeks. It's kind of glossy that it accompanies the end of the mouth like a little finger bite.... Rokuko, don't imitate me, okay?

"Begin!

And, the game began with a referee signal. I've instantly killed all my enemies so far, Nik. I thought we could put on a quick battle - but those are fierce enough to make it to the finals. I grabbed Nik's knife and took it.

"Mm, can't you slash it? Sturdy hair."

"Ha! If you want to slash me, bring me even a demon sword with an increased sharpness!

"Really?"

"Huh? Stuffed!?

Nik, who hadn't activated the Devil's Sword Golem knife until then, pours magic into the knife.

Then the hand I was grabbing snapped - no, I let it go with a gibberish, my fingers were connected. I was bleeding out of my hands.

"Oh, my God, that was the Devil's Sword! I wouldn't have used it!

…… It should have been possible to use the Devil's Sword, too?

"You didn't keep the Devil's Sword so far... heal my wounds - [Heels]"

"I just didn't have to use it."

While slashing, while avoiding, while recovering, while kicking. Nik and Warwolf have a flat conversation while fighting over what the hell is going on with them.

I can talk plainly with my body moving so much often. Well, the Demon King Stream seems to be a substitute for not breathing itself in the first place, so I guess it's nothing compared to talking.

"Ha, ha, eat, [slash]!

With the hand that Warwolf had just healed, he raised his nails and swung them out. [Slash] Attack by claw skills, not swordsmanship skills. Nik turns this around gently, but...

"[Slash] [Slash] [Slash] [Slash] [Slash]!

"Huh, ha, take, hey, ho, ha"

A quick series of attacks. The nail strikes Nik endlessly, but calmly identifies and avoids the two arms.

"[Slash] [Slash] [Slash] Slash [Slash]!

"Huh, ha, take, gu!? Agoo!"

But a further series of attacks that also seem obsessive. Nik inevitably ate this. Just guarded. He takes a swinging blow with a golem knife and gets his next [slash] eaten aside and blown away.

"Hey, hey, Idi! Nik got blown away!?

"It's the Demon King Stream," Deception (Fake). "It's a trick I taught my puppy, Rokuko."

"Uh, what. Did something happen to you? Explain it, Idi."

"... there must have been a mix of people just screaming without using their skills, right? It's a soothing technique to attack a werewolf (a whale player) in a trajectory that is unlikely to be a skill, and to hit a skill where it collapses."

I see, that's the kind of move Arr... you didn't just have a series of monotonous skills that activated fast. Hmm.

"So,"

"Nik, I hope you're okay. I'm squatting."

"Oh, I'm fine. That was a lot of training with Sebastian."

"Oh, really?

"... Yep. Rokuko's master is right. If it lacks glory as much as it was damaged in the first place, it means that the puppy is to that extent. Because it is the demon kings who can fight as hard as they can until the end.... but you don't have to worry, Rokuko."

But Nik was squatting with his attacked flank.

There's a war-wolf in pursuit.

"Got it!

- But that's what Nik thought.

Nik didn't miss that gap, which made him just a little fussy in craving for todome.

Nik dives into Warwolf's nostalgia with enough momentum to illusion that he disappeared from front of him from pretending he was damaged and unable to move (...). And he lifted the knife up to the neck of Warwolf, who removed the attack, without a sound.

Naturally, the Devil's Sword Golem Knife is in the activated state. I mowed my neck hair and slashed just a little more meat, stopping that knife in front of the carotid artery critical. Warwolf won't be able to move any further.

"Did you think you could defeat me to that extent?

"... here we go. Don't do it, little one."

"Yes."

Getting the words of surrender, Nik leaves with no expression, waving his tail happily away.

"Whoa! This is madness!! The last Squirrel to compete in the third round of the game, just a qualifying defeat! It was an assassin from the Empire, 'Black Hound' Nick Croyne! How far does this little, sharp fang feed into this demonic kingdom? Ugh!

The referee's mouth is also getting more flashy. It seems that Squirrel was the main player in the previous tournament and with a winning background, that's the qualifying finals.

And, Nik was waving at me, so I shook him back.

"Huh? What, you didn't eat the 'deceit (fake)' of a whale player?

"What are you talking about, Locco? That puppy is the Demon King Stream," Deception (Fake) "? I told you so."

"To? That way?

Yeah, this is a bad description of Idee.

Demon King Stream, "Deception (Fake)".

This was taught to me too, but it was originally a really demon-like move to "pretend to be hit and give it a second form".

Most of all Nik doesn't have a second form, so it would be enough to make a serious move...... Ah, maybe a golem assist ban or something because the last way I jumped was a bit unnatural.

"Erm. So what's the whale player's? What a move was that?

"? I wouldn't name that kind of muddy feint anyway. At least in Demon King Stream."

Well, that seems to be the case.

All in all, Nik's qualifying breakthrough was confirmed. My child is strong.

Oh, and Sebastian broke through the qualifying round, too. The other person here was a miscellaneous fish by Sebastian standards, so there is nothing to talk about.

The last one also decided to compete in the main game with a win over the causal Algiaro Menowe by a Geigankin who dropped Muzo.

Thus, four main battle contestants from this town were decided.
