4-13 Reunion 1
Takumi and Walnut, who were requested, left the Adventurer Guild building and went straight from Main Street onto the sidewalk to the mountain where trees with green leaves were likely to climb to the top in an hour or two.
The two followed at the foot of the mountain without meeting monsters in particular on the road.
"All right, we'll double-check your request! This request involves the collection of a rare herb called" White Healing Grass "near the top of the mountain."
"'White healing grass'..."
White healing grass is a bright white petal blooming herb that can only be harvested in Yamato and parts of the nearby islands, and can be used in a variety of applications, such as drinking extracts that seep out of the herb and heal minor wounds.
"I've checked the contents, shall we go?"
"Yeah. Follow me from behind."
I stopped and turned toward Takumi as if the walnuts walking ahead of me where they walked out remembered something.
"Look back at Takumi today! Look for white healing grass."
"Copy that. I'll take care of the fight."
"Yeah! Leave it to me!
Then about thirty minutes after the two of them started climbing the mountain, they heard a slight roar of monsters in the distance.
"Walnut, what's that?
"Isn't there some other adventurer out there somewhere in the mountains fighting monsters? That's a voice-over A-rank Ape Giant."
In Walnut's story, Ape Giant seems to mean a monster like a giant monkey that only inhabits the islands around Yamato and Yamato.
"This forest is home to Ape and Ape Giant, so we have to be careful."
"Right..."
(Is it a monster specific to Yamato…. This world and regions can change the type of monster. When I get back to the city, I wonder if I could show you some monster material in the Adventurer's Guild)
A walnut walking forward when Takumi thought of that and they were walking suddenly took two kunais out of their nostalgia and threw them momentously toward the upper right corner.
"Kick!?
One of the walnut-throwed kunais was stuck in an ape about a meter long on the tree and let it fall off the tree, the other crushing the stone debris that the ape had thrown. Takumi, who had not noticed at all, looked at the walnuts and accidentally applauded them.
"Oh... that's a lot of walnuts"
Walnut looked good when he heard Takumi's words.
"If Takumi is an adventurer, you'll see!
"Is that what it is..."
(No, I don't think anyone can do this to a boulder.)
Yes, Takumi put a scratch in the walnut in his heart.
Then for dozens of minutes, the two continued to climb the mountain as the walnuts swept away the apes they encountered.
