8-7 Exploration

The four of them who stepped into Mates accidentally stopped.

It's not like we found an enemy. Once again, the view changed when I walked through the gate. Besides, that couldn't be real.

The two creepingly red glowing moons that are missing float in the dark sky, and the red light that shines from the gap between the black clouds illuminates the city of Metes blurred and red with thin mist.

The four men who returned to me immediately, alerting their enemies, stood guard over Takumi's split and entered the city's back road from the main street.

"Unlike from the outside, the building inside isn't broken."

"Right. But I can't feel the signs of people, and I still feel the signs of monsters..."

"What do we do, Noah?

Noah promptly instructed the three of them without changing his expression on Kuido's inquiry.

"Explore the building in turn to see if there are any survivors and to find clues to the cause of this situation."

When Noah instructed, the three of them grasped and nodded and acted, but Noah lifted her hand forward and raised her voice.

"Wait. Sure, it's more efficient to break up, but I don't know what's gonna happen this time. It'll take some time, but the four of us will act together and explore carefully to make sure there's no overlooks."

"" Copy that. ""

When the three answered in a whisper, Sora spoke from the world of Takumi's heart.

(Takumi, I found a monster walking this way. Share visibility with a different person?)

Copy that. Hold on a second.

When contacted by Sola, Takumi confirmed to the three of them, allowing them to share their sights with the Takumi split magically created by Sola.

When shared, Takumi's split was peering down the main street of the table from the sidewalk leading to the back alley.

(er... Huh!? What the hell is that? You know what Sola is?)

There was something in Takumi's sight that made him walk from afar.

As if the mosaic was on, it was covered in black jaws, and something blurry, creepy, red-eyed, man-shaped was slowly walking towards us by three bodies.

(I wonder... I've never seen it before, either)

Then, once Takumi solved the sight sharing and explained the situation to the three of them, he entered the two-story building by unlocking the unlocked door at the back entrance of the building from the back alley to avoid encountering them poorly and finding out where they were.

When you enter the building and turn on the lamp that is in the room, there are several boxes on the wall shelves, and the floor is littered with some boxes and monster materials and herbs that would have come out of it, with trampled marks.

There's only one desk drawer left open.

"Me and Iris upstairs. Explore the ground floor with Kuido and Takumi. Meet me here after enough. Use magic if anything happens. Anything trivial, if you have any concerns, you can report it later."

That said, Noah shrugged her eyes narrowly as she laid her hands on the door from the room to the inside room where there was a back entrance leading to the back alley.

"It's locked... Feel like I ran away from something and hurried away from the back alley."

Then when Noah cleverly unlocked and unlocked the door with props, the four of them began their quest.

Whoa, whoa.

When we started exploring and about seven minutes went by.

Upstairs Iris was breaking up with Noah and exploring a dark room with closed curtains.

(Nothing unusual...)

While detecting magic, Iris was checking for magic marks, magic items, etc., and looking for any anomalies in the room, but nothing in particular.

And it was when I looked out from the subtle gap I accidentally made between the curtains.

"Huh!!

Iris stepped aside unexpectedly and fell ill on the spot.

(Was there someone...?)

The heart was pounding, but Iris glanced through the window of the building across the street from the curtain gap as soon as he could erase the signs again.

But there was nothing there.

(Oh, that... was it your fault?)

I thought I saw a tall girl with long golden hair there just now leaning against a window and sitting back, but was it my fault?

Iris continued his questionable questioning and returned to the ground floor because enough had passed.
