Lead the other world.
8-9 Remaining Notes 2
"That's terrible..."
Dry blood stains are all over the worn out walls and floors, with broken chairs, desks and weapons falling off. All the lights are broken, dark and hard to see, but I can see that there are traces of battle all over there.
The smell of rot mixed with the smell of blood, and Takumi Tatsuhei four of them walked into the building of the Metes branch of the Adventurer's Guild.
The building runs from the fifth to the third basement, and the first floor, which now has four people, seemed to have a reception and lobby, and a bulletin board with a request sticking out.
Kuido then approached the bulletin board on which the request was stuck and turned his attention to the request still posted.
"Kuido, what can I get you?
"Hmm..."
After a while I finished watching Kuido's request stuck out all the way, my eyes narrowed and I groaned.
"Weird, you didn't ask for an escort."
Most of the requests to reach the adventurers of Mates were roughly divided into three categories by rank.
The first is security at the gates of the city, received by low-ranking adventurers such as D and E ranks.
The second is a general caravan escort from Metes to the rest of the city, aimed at C to A-rank adventurers.
And the third is for adventurers of S-rank and above, who are asked to escort large gold moving deals, escorts of caravans carrying precious and expensive goods, and escorts of merchants with huge assets.
In fact, there are things like the crusade of monsters that emerged around Metes, but Kuido said the most frequent request to be staked out was supposed to be the escort of the caravan.
Takumi muttered, making sure that there was not a single request to escort the caravan other than Kuido.
"Was there something causing the caravan from Metes to stop coming out?
"Mm-hmm. You don't know. Shall we explore the first to third floors for now? Takumi and I will explore from the third floor, so Kuido and Iris will explore from the first floor. When the enemy arrives, avoid contact as much as you can and act as a priority to join us."
Whoa, whoa.
And Takumi and Noah, who broke up with Kuido and Iris, used the stairs to reach the third floor, checking to see if there were any enemies.
There are glass fragments and broken vase shards scattered across the hallway floor, with many cuts and dents on the walls and floors, similar to the first floor, with broken lighting.
Unlike the other floors, the third floor seems to have some four slightly larger rooms and one longitudinal room at the far back.
"There's no sign of the enemy..."
"Oh, and you're so creepy quiet"
Then they went up the stairs and had a whispering conversation at the first bend, breaking up with both hands, Takumi decided to explore from the deepest room and Noah from the closest room to the stairs.
The deepest room was half-opened with doors, and Takumi peered into the room from that gap before entering the room.
(Wow... this is again...)
(It's a mess... Still, this room. What room?)
Sola and Takumi were stunned for a moment by the condition of the rough room.
In the back there is a large desk stacked with tons of paperwork, massively scattered on the floor with books that fell off the wall bookshelves, books like those that were thrown aside abusively, and documents that somehow had lots of tight letters.
Then Takumi walked into the room to the desk in the back and looked through several piles of paperwork.
(I see… the upper level human room of the guild)
The documents contained various complaints from adventurers and Metes merchants, as well as applications for new requests.
"Hmm?"
Looking at the piles of documents scattered on the desk and on the floor, Takumi noticed that there was a notebook on the desk at Fuji, wondering if the lord in this room was quite stressed.
If you look at it for your hand, it is a thick notebook wrapped in a sturdy black skinned cover of monsters.
What is this?
(Just take a look.)
Sora, who was in the world of mind watching what had happened earlier, also showed interest, and Takumi casually opened the notebook.
