The Rays went out to the meadows when they noticed an adventurer fleeing in the woods and were asked by Hasta not to want to kill the adventurer in the same city.

What I saw there was, in a way, as expected and, in a way, an unexpected sight.

As expected, the four adventurers are being chased by Gamelions. The sight of adventurers who came for the purpose of Gamelion showing up only at this time of year, who seem to have escaped out of hand against Gamelion.

But what was unexpected was the gamelion following those adventurers. Even though the normal size should be about 3m, the gamelion boasted a giant like a joke. Its size is roughly three times the size of the gamelion that the Rays have finished.

And Ray and Hasta remembered a gamelion that size. Because Langa told me about the rare species of Gamelion when I was going through the process of getting out of the city.

……

Ray turns his gaze to the flashing hasta.

Even the regular Gamelion is a Rank C monster, a clear opponent for Rank D Adventurer Hasta.

In fact, even with regard to the gamelion that Ray and the others had planted earlier, Hasta had been able to amputate his tail, but that was the only damage he had done, and without Ray's blow, he probably would have ended his life.

Even so, the rare species currently coming to the woods where the Rays are located are treated as one above the normal monsters. I mean Rank B Monster. Ray himself is a monster of equal strength to Oak King and Sprigan. Obviously Hasta had a heavy load of opponents.

"Hasta"

"... Yes. I know. You're someone I can't fathom a little with my arms. Should I stay down in the woods?

"Don't help me if you do. It would help if you calm down those four adventurers you're after and explain them to me."

"I'll take care of it. It won't help in battle, but I'll try to do something about it."

I'll help myself! Ray, who just thought it was something he claimed to be, gives instructions to Hasta, even though he is somewhat surprised.

Even for Hasta, of course, I would have tried to do something about it without Ray or Seto. But fortunately, there were out of standard beings here like Ray and Seto. I could understand that even if I got my hands on an opponent worth of Rank B monsters, I would be back in the way, than there would be a ray that would fire a blow that would clean up Gamelion lightly. Saying you know your share would be one of the beauty of Hasta.

The distance between the woods, where the four adventurers and the Rays are located, gradually shrinks, even while we meet briefly like that.

However, with an exact 8 m body length, it was extremely unfavourable to the adventurers to deal with the rare species of Gamelion, which seemed to be based on ravioli. Faster than the distance from the woods shrinks, so does the distance between adventurers and rare species.

Despair had already surfaced on the faces of the adventurers, where death was imminent, but still ran desperately toward the woods where the Rays were with their only hope.

Given the length of the rare species, it would certainly have been a smart choice to escape into the woods. If it was so giant, it would not have been possible to imitate it through the trees. Or there is the possibility that they will follow you as you crush down the trees, but then naturally the speed of the rare species will be dull.

(Was it the speed of Gamelion's feet that was unexpected? Don't get caught up too close to the guys who are being chased to use magic. Then it would be best if I walked in between and let the distance go)

Ray whines inside and kicks the ground in silence. Seto, who dropped off his hindsight of it, rose with his wings winged. We're going to launch an ambush from above to cover Ray's rare species.

"Don't come -! Run, run!

Among the adventurers being chased by Gamelion, a warrior-style man in the lead finds Ray and shouts out loud.

But Ray doesn't listen to such a voice... No, instead, he shouts back at the adventurers approaching him.

"I'll take this place. You guys go in the woods! My people are waiting!

"But!"

You saw Ray's physique and decided he was a wizard, the leading man trying to say something back reflexively. But by then, Ray and the adventurers had already been replaced so that Ray's gaze firmly captured the appearance of a rare species.

"Oh, don't die!

Adventurers who end up leaving that behind and running straight into the woods.

Instead of dropping off behind it, Ray waves a large death size by hanging a rare discipline that was already approaching a distance of about 5m.

Flying slaughter!

Anyway, Flying Slash, a death-size skill released to stop the leg. Slaughter flies by its name...

"Gaaaaaa!"

I guess I felt something for the power of that slaughter. The rare species leap high with barking.

Exactly what you should call a monster that seems to be the original rabbit, its jumping power makes it easier to fly past the slaughter that was flown by the Flying Slash. It was also an on-the-spot leap, and the height of intelligence of rare species could be seen in places that did not imitate the distance from Ray, who had a magic item.

Humph!

Ray waves death size almost reflexively the moment he thought he heard a scraping sound of air.

Gimp!

And at the same time, the metal sounds echoing around.

"Gah!"

What followed sounded was a scream of rare species.

I frown slightly when I saw a ropy object falling about 3m on the ground with my gaze only for a moment.

(Right. Since he's nearly three times his body length, isn't it strange that his tail should be longer than other gamelions? You just don't have to worry about that whip-like tail anymore with the first blow. Is it better?)

"Gah...... gahhhh!

The fact that my tail was cut off slightly probably prevented me from doing so. A rare species that barks to show off its overwhelmingly huge and compelling fangs over the gamelion that Ray just finished.

But naturally, there's no way Ray would notice or shrink in such an angry voice. Start casting spells with magic as you always do while setting up a death size.

"Fire, burn your enemies according to my will"

And along with the spell, a 30cm flame gathers at the tip of the Death Size...

Fireball!

At the same time that the magic is complete, it unleashes a fireball created by shaking the death size.

That speed had a speed that a monster with a low rank in the normal area would not have been able to avoid. But now Ray has a rare Gamelion monster, a rank C monster, and a rank B monster. The instantaneous force and speed itself are quite high for monsters based on ravioli.

"Gaaaa!"

A rare species that rings short and jumps sideways to avoid fireballs. I was trying to get my back leg paid for cutting my own tail off to Ray by poking a magical gap as it was...

Boom!

What the rare species, reflectively turning their gaze to the source of the sound, saw was an overwhelmingly powerful sight that was generating about 2m of fireworks and burning the ground down.

All the grass that is affected by the magic of the Devil's Forest, which will not wither all year, is instantly ashed without exchanging before the flames unleashed by Ray.

(... All right. Now this rare species can't ignore me any more than they have to worry about getting shot in the back. The forest will be safer for a while)

In the footsteps you hear from behind, you can magic into Death Size again as you feel the adventurers earlier enter the woods.

"Gah...... Gah, gah, gah!

You can see I'm under barometric pressure by Ray right in front of me. Unlike earlier voices filled with anger, rare species bark as if inspiring themselves.

"Magic Shield!

Ray packs his time as if to respond to that voice as he builds his death size again. However, use the magic shield, which is a skill, to deploy shields made of light.

"Gaaaaaa!"

I guess I got a sense of crisis with Ray approaching me while I was watching. He said he would be hit as he was. The rare species that so decides intimidates Ray as he exposes the enormous fangs of the rare species deceased.

It's a gamelion that's 8m long. Its mouth is as huge as its fangs, and that's what would fit into the stomach with a single drink if it was about ray. And even if I can't do that, if I stick my fangs out, I can inject the poison. He said that he would die of anything.

"Sweet...... dude!

Using Gamelion-specific instantaneous abilities, he jumps forward without sticking his fangs out just before entering the death-size interval.

Kickin '!

However, fangs that should have been protruded into the ray are prevented by the shield of light.

And almost simultaneously, a magical death size was wielded.

"Huh!?...... Gah!

A rare species that recognizes a blade of imminent death against itself tries to take that attack with a blade of his right ear with almost reflexive behavior.

That sharp blade could have been prevented if it had been a normal long sword or spear-like weapon that had been wielded. Alternatively, maybe we could have imitated the opposite by cleaving that weapon. But the weapon that was wielded this time was a magic item. It was also created by Warcraft performed using Ray's own mighty magic. Therefore, the blade of the right ear of a rare species can hardly resist anything, and is slashed clean. Ray then returned his wrist with the shaken death size intact, pointing the blade towards the rare species.

"Power slash!

I had to use my skills again.

"Gagaaaaaaaa!"

The slashing flavor of the blade drops, but the power of a pure blow increases for that matter. Power slash. The rare species that ate it, dyed their blood with fur that would otherwise have strong resistance to the blade, whilst screaming like they had never heard, was blown away nearly 5 m, trying to roll through the earth and scraping the ground for a few more m to finally stop the movement.

"... lying, right?

Among the adventurers who watched the sight from the woods, a man who is a leader shrugs unexpectedly.

The man was a warrior-inspired man who spoke with Ray briefly earlier.

But it would be splendid if I could just speak up. Because the rest of us were out of breath, as if we'd forgotten to breathe.

Somehow, it blew up a rare species that was 8m long, only about 160cm long, which at first glance seemed like a luxurious child.

Even for Hasta, the sight was just unexpected now, and he's gazing at Ray so he can't even eat in without a voice.

And at the end of that gaze, I saw that a rare species that had fallen to the ground had risen, but it was no longer as powerful as when it had already given its body the despair of death against the adventurers until earlier. It would be right to describe it as half-dead.

While I feel the gaze of those five, Ray himself still turns his gaze to the rare species without alarm.

This has been a one-sided development because we were able to sever the tail, which is a means of ranged attack in the first blow. Without that, I'm pretty sure I would have had a little more of a struggle.

……

Turn your gaze toward the rare species that rose unannounced, but only for a moment.

There was a seto dancing in the sky ready to be attacked at any time.

(All right, if I take a bad time here and let him get away with it, there's no ex or kid. decide here)

I deliberately wield a large death size as if turning the attention of a rare species to myself.

A showy blow in between when you should have used Flying Slash. And because the rare species actually saw the flying slaughter with their eyes, they can't abandon its potential and use their already little power to the limit and jump high above the sky.

"Grrrrrrrr!"

And letting it leap up was Ray's aim.

A rare species that does not have a way to move in the air puts into view the figure of Seto, who rapidly approaches himself as he roars… At the next moment, Seto's own weight, combined with a blow that has fallen from high altitude combined, swings a blow of eagle claws down to his head.

In terms of body size alone, Gamelion is more than four times the size of Ceto. But to the power of Griffon, a rank A monster, Seto himself is equipped with a rigid bracelet. A surprise attack from a place where the thoughts of a rare species do not come close, a sudden descent attack from above. Together, all of this makes for tremendous power...

Gokaaa!

Without making any difference in stature, the swinging blow echoed the sound of crushing bones in the heads of rare species all around.

"Ha!

And just in case you make a huge noise, pack the distance from the rare species that fell to the ground, and swing the magical death size sharply...

Slash!

He slashed his head clean off from his neck.
