Adventurer Guild in the city of Gilm. In the Guildmaster's office, the marina magically moves onto a crystal that holds as much as a handful of them on her desk.
And keep it that way for about a minute. Eventually a known face was shown on the surface of that crystal.
That's an old man in his 50s. He wears a robe and grows a long jawbeard, and from his eyes he feels a deep intelligence.
It's Seyce, the wizard who was partying with the marina about a few decades ago.
He is now the city of Barr, where the former party leader, the Dear Logo, acts as Lords, a figure who, like Marina, serves as Alliance Master.
"Marina. You're gonna contact me at this hour about the powder on the Aurani grass?
The sinister look that my former companion always comes up with when I decided not to break my chilling look. That alone makes it easy to imagine how much crisis the city of Bahr is in the marina. But just because nothing changes with a serious look on my face here myself, Marina nods small with a grin.
"Yeah, my kid left town earlier with plenty of Aurani grass powder."
"... well. Then it's 10 days early to arrive. I hope the Devil's Fever patient manages to do his best."
"Oh, you're not, are you?
"What?"
Traveling accustomed adventurers travel 10 days ready to crush horses. Only Seyce, who knows it's impossible to shorten her itinerary any further than that, turns her eyes as if she were poked at her intentions by the marina's words.
"What do you mean?
"If you do go to the earth, it will take you 10 days, no matter how quickly you rush from the city of Gilm to the city of Barr. I know that.... but what if you flew away from the sky instead of running through the earth?
"... wait. Wait, wait, wait. Marina, you've always been the kind of guy who'd do something unscrupulous with his mind, but now what? As far as Non knows, there were no dragon knights in the city of Gilm. Or did Uncle Larks Border recently hire a Dragon Knight or something?
Seyce looks at the crystal like she panicked. There is a glimmer of hope in its eyes.
If there really is a dragon knight, I wonder if we can handle the powder of Aurani grass that just goes to all the parts of the city, or just the dangerous ones.
But the next thing that came out of Marina's mouth was incredible content for Russia, either as an adventurer for years or for Seyce, who had lived as a wizard.
"No, I'm not. There's a kid in our guild who signed up a few months ago, and he's turning flyable monsters into obedience."
"Oh my..."
Seyce gives a surprising look to Marina's words. But the next moment I shake my head small.
"No, but even if there are adventurers with flyable submissive demons, then they won't be able to carry that much powder of Aurani grass, will they? It is true, of course, that it would be helpful if at all. You can give your terminal patients less medicine to recover from."
"Pfft, that's still sweet. He's got most of the Aurani grass powder in the city of Gilm. Any other supplies you might need depend on the allowance."
"... what?
"Don't be surprised, he might have an item box somehow."
"What!?
To the greatest surprise of all time, Cece screams unexpectedly. But Marina speaks words that surprise Seyce even more.
"By the way, that child's submissive demon. Guess what?
"... When you have an item box, you will be a veteran high ranking adventurer for the rest of your life. When that happens, is that what Harpy or Fei Long is all about?
"Ha... no. The correct answer was Griffon."
"Huh!?
A reflexively breathtaking Seyce, to that word too much, to say the least.
Take a deep breath to sink your confused head before opening your mouth again.
"Stupid, griffon-obeying adventurer. Never heard of it, have you? If there's anyone like that, it could be a rumor."
"Huh, I can't help it. Apparently the child has always been raised by a wizard master in a place where he has no connection with people.... That's what the master calls himself a magician, right? In fact, it was only a few months ago that the kid came to the city of Gilm. I ran up the ranks during that time, and now I'm the shortest record holder from signing up for Adventurers to Rank D."
"... Whatever. Well. No, I appreciate that you had an item box. I'd like to ask you a lot, but right now it's top priority to do something about Devil's Fever anyway. I hope you arrive as soon as possible."
"Yeah.... tell the Deer logo you're fine too"
"Oh."
"And I'm going to get this loan back to you."
"... oh"
"Well, it's time to cut the magic, so excuse me around here.... don't die, because if you die, I'll know less of you."
At the same time as I tell him so, Seyce's face, which was reflected in the crystal, disappears.
……
The marina strokes silently and gently the crystal that has not shown anything yet.
This crystal is certainly a valuable magic item passed down to the Adventurer's Guild that you can freely converse with distant people, but the magic you consume for it is also immense. Even if it's a marina that is more magical than people racially, it's enough to drain most of its magic with just 10 minutes or so of communication there.
"It depends on the magic power that an individual has whether or not he suffers from demonic fever. Then the Deer logo and Seyce won't be a problem first.... if that's really normal demonic fever, but"
He shrugged, playing the crystal lightly with his fingers, with a worrying look on his face, unlike the one he had pointed at Seyce until earlier.
"Chi! Monsters will attack you only when you're in a hurry!
On Ceto, Ray wiggles his death size wide as he throws up sharply.
Its blade, which is passed through magic, slashes and rips a giant bee in two from its torso, whether it is 30 cm or not.
Demonic stones and materials all fall to the ground, but they can't recover them any more than they are in a hurry, and while their inner teeth look at them, they wield their death size to a giant bee that has attacked them again.
Sword Bee. As its name suggests, it is a monster of insects whose part of the needle, if it were meant to be, is like a long sword. It is a rank E monster and strength itself is not that big of a deal. But he was a monster hated by the adventurers because he had the habit of coming after his prey once.
And then nearly 20 of those Sword Bees are flying around Seto and Ray, who are currently running through the sky, peeking into the gap and attacking them.
"Seto!"
"Grrrrrrrr!"
Having instinctively understood what Ray's words required, Seto breathes heavily and exhales his firebraces out of that couch.
Boom!
"Shh!"
Instantly engulfed in flames, instantly bladed, Sword Bee falls to the ground as it burns.
And Ceto moving his neck sideways with the flame throwing up. Then naturally the firebrace moves as well, wrapping a few Swords Bees into flames just like the first one.
"Wind hands!
Activate the wind hand, a death-size skill, to one Sword Bee who is approaching suddenly trying to hit Seto looking in the opposite direction. A clear tentacle stretched from that pattern grabs the tail where Sword Bee's distinctive sword is growing.
"Ha!
Even though it's a giant bee, it's about 30 cm long. With only that much weight, it was impossible to resist the force of Ray swinging while grabbing it with the hands of the wind.
"Shh!"
Ray waves the wind's hand, regardless, as he puts a screaming voice in his ear that can be heard due to jaw tremors. Sword Bee cuts off his fellow blades with a sword tip that grows from his tail due to his swinging tentacles, and at the next moment he fills his fellow torso with his sword tip.
"Shatter it!
Sword Bee, who waved loudly as he was again grabbed by his tentacles with the words, smashed his own head against the head of his companion and splattered his two co-heads apart, spreading the carcass to the ground.
"Fire, burn your enemies according to my will"
He then casts a spell and generates a fireball of about 30 cm at the tip of the Death Size pattern.
Short spells and a lot of power. This spell, which still has a wide range of attacks, was a very handy magic that Ray could easily use.
Fireball!
The fireball released with that word surrounds several Sword Bees that were about to strike from directly below through the gap between Ray and Seto into flames and burns them out in an instant without even letting the voice of the Terminator rise.
10 left. Though the numbers are down to nearly a fifth compared to when they first attacked us, the Sword Bees have no sign of giving up Ray and Seto in a row.
But those 10 will not give up, but they will change their posture to see how things are going without doing anything that will strike them.
"... Shit, I don't have time to eat here."
Squirting, Ray looking toward the ground.
Fortunately, I don't see any people, horses, or carriages in the streets.
"Now's your chance if you want to do it. Fortunately, that's not how they set us up. Seto, it's the king's intimidation."
"Grr!"
It just rings small when Ray finds out what he's saying and breathes heavily in.
"Grrrrrrrrrrrr!"
A roar echoing around the perimeter. That was just releasing the overwhelming intimidation the king had.
It's a king's intimidation that should have been used first when it was raided by Sword Bee if it was meant to be, but this skill takes a few seconds to unleash, albeit a hoard. Those few seconds were no longer available than when Sword Bee showed up and attacked him, and he ended up fighting as he traveled all the way through the air.
However, once Sword Bee had taken his distance, he could afford a few seconds and the king's intimidation was activated. And as long as it was activated, I couldn't imitate a monster about Rank E.
"Slash, slash, slash!
That's how a flying slaughter is knocked into the air unintentionally and unintentionally where the movement stops. It is disastrous that we were watching Ray and Seto together, and the slaughter slashes and rips, crushes and destroys everything that remained of Sword Bee and smashes his body to the ground.
"... Phew. Hmm?"
What Ray finally saw, paragraph by paragraph, were a few figures on the ground. And that's a pretty big city you can see up ahead.
There was something flashing about it, Ray retrieves the map he kept from the marina from Mystering while having Seto fly straight.
On the map, the name of that city, closest to the city of Gilm, was labeled Abuelo.
"Is that city good for Abu Ero? Well, if you don't know, can I ask. Seto, get down a little far from the shadows over there."
"Gru."
Nodding at Ray's words, Seto descends to the ground with his wings glistened.
The shadow that was looking up at Seto like that must have understood that it was Griffon coming down. He tries to escape for a moment, but immediately stops noticing the ray on its back.
(I see, an adventurer)
He whines inside as he sees the figures equipped with armor, thick clothes, swords, bows, etc., jumps off Seto's back from a position a few meters above the ground and lands on the street.
And keep quiet and close to the party-like group of adventurers, who unexpectedly realize their age is young.
Most of them are younger than Hasta, like in her late teens.
"... stop!
Towards Ray, who approached me, a warrior-like man in the lead screams as he reaches for his hip-sword.
When I used the scale of the serpentine monster, I was a man with a terrible impression of the bright blue Skyle Mail.
Ray stops and opens his mouth on the spot as he has trouble staying close and fighting.
"Don't worry, I'm an adventurer in the city of Gilm"
"... what?
City of Gilm. The adventurers who were in front of Ray in one word shrug.
That's all the city of Gilm is famous for in so many ways.
Whether he was a self-proclaimed adventurer who could follow the griffon in front of him or if he thought he was from the city of Gilm, a periphery, he couldn't understand it.
He was the leading man who was distracted for a moment by what Ray said about being an adventurer in the city of Gilm, but still opens his mouth somewhere suspicious that he can't fully believe the words alone. I guess I should just say adventurer that I still have my hands on the sword pattern even in that state.
"Sorry, can I see your guild card? If you're really an adventurer in the city of Gilm, you wouldn't have a problem with that, would you?
"Oh."
Nod small, try to remove it from the inside of the robe, remove the guild card from the misting, and throw it toward the man.
Normally I don't imitate mysterious beings, but I was told to have an item box here, so I made a noise, and decided it was a hassle to take time.
The men, who confirmed the guild card that fell over the street, finally de-alert in earnest.
And in that case, it was only natural that curiosity arose about the man in front of me.
"Hey, is this really Griffon?
"Why are the adventurers of the city of Gilm here?
"Wow, hey. She's not younger than us."
A man who was talking to Ray until earlier eventually raises his voice about whether he is still afraid of Seto or how he will ask questions without seeing Seto but interrupting his words.
"Don't blame me for the questions!... uh, no offense to these guys either. I'd rather ask than that, what do you do with that Sword Bee you knocked down? It's not that expensive, but I can peel off some of the material."
That being said, the warrior's man's eyes are directed towards the carcass of Sword Bee scattered across the surrounding ground.
Looking at that gaze, Ray eventually opens his mouth after thinking for a few seconds about what the man expects.
"I just want to ask you, is the name of the city over there good for the city of Abu Ero?
"Hmm? Oh. That's for sure."
He was a man who stood for a moment wondering what he would ask, but I guess he never thought he'd ask the name of the city. Nod small and answer.
"Well, then the journey is going well."
Whimpers, cleaves Swordby's upper body, which had fallen nearby, not with his usual knife for dismantling, but with a misrill knife that was equipped on his hips, and takes the demon stone out of his heart. And when you do the same thing again and get two demon stones, you turn your gaze to the men of the adventurer again.
"I only need these two demon stones for my share. Thank you for answering my question. Whatever you need to know about the rest of the monster material and the Crusade Proof site."
"... okay?
"Oh, a lot of haste. Seto, let's go."
"Grr!"
Nodding at the man, Ray straddled to Seto's back, leaving the men behind and flying in the opposite direction from the city of Gilm.
"What the hell was that?
"... ah"
In the meantime, the archer woman opens her mouth like she remembered something when she saw the Rays leaving.
"What's up?
"No, remember when I heard from a pedestrian before that Griffon was feeling like a mascot character in the city of Gilm"
……
A line looking up at Griffon, who is silent and already as small as a dot.
Everyone in that mind thought the same thing as' That's the border '.
