"Welcome, Lady Elaine, Lady Ray"
While receiving Tufal's voice on his back, Ray and Elaine leave the inn for the stables.
Day 2 after arrival in Egzil. After a slow breakfast, the two of them were about to head to the dungeon as quickly as possible.
Ray dresses like a wizard in plain sight: dragon robes and Slapenil shoes, as usual. Unlike the time of her personal clothes, which led her to the guild the day before, Elaine is fully equipped, like a white metal armor and cape, a pair of Slapenil shoes, just like Ray, and a sheath fitted with a jointed sword, arguably the symbol of Elaine, on her hips.
Everything Elaine wears is a magic item, something so valuable that if she knew the value of that magic item, perhaps bandits and the likes of chimps would come at her without hesitation.
In that case, Elaine will be looking for more than just magic items. Whatever its beauty, Duke's Lady, Princess General. Because Elaine herself has too many reasons to be attacked.
… although it would be very difficult for those who came under attack to achieve that prospect.
Anyway, the two of them exiting the entrance to the Golden Wind Pavilion also had various gazes pointed at them by their guests.
Still, no one will speak out, probably because of the drunkenness that dazzled Elaine's beauty at dinner the day before, or the drunkenness that decided it wouldn't matter from Ray's appearance, was beaten to pieces.
Of course it wasn't serious, but it wasn't strange for guests to decide that it would be terrible to get involved in the detours because they were nevertheless injured to such an extent that the pain wouldn't pull off the next day.
As an innkeeper, I was grateful to Ray and Elaine for suppressing the drunkenness that was making a scene in the dining room.
The cuisine that came out of the breakfast was somewhat more luxurious than other guests, I guess, representing the inn's favor.
"Still, the fact that I'm not with you right now doesn't seem like Yellow was back last night...... were you with Seto overnight?
Elaine nods with a bitter smile to Ray as she asks on her way to the dormitory.
"I guess so. For some reason, the Yellow is strangely nostalgic for Seto. I've known that for a long time, but I didn't think so."
"... I see. Well, in a way, it's a similar trait."
Ray, who cares about his surrounding eyes and tells him that's all in the end.
(I knew it was a yellow created as a demon of use and a ceto created in warcraft. It is the same in that it was created from magic, even though there are many fine differences. Probably due to the area)
Walking inside thinking about the doubts they had felt before, the two eventually arrive at the stables.
Seeing Ray like that, there's one shadow that comes first.
"Whoa, are we going out fast? That one......... you were definitely one with an edge on the Duke of Kelp. Me... No, I'm a proton entrusted with stables at the Golden Wind Pavilion. I'm neglectful of all the courtesies, thank you."
"Oh, nice to meet you. Quick, but there'd be a little dragon in the stables, wouldn't there? Probably with Seto, but do you mind if I come inside?
"Yes, no problem"
Elaine returns the word to the man who named her Proton.
Ray gives a small, surprising look to such an exchange between the two.
Either way, the language used against me or against Elaine was completely different.
But that would be natural in a way. Even though he has the same alias, one is only an adventurer and the other is a duke's maid. Because I guess it would be more problematic if it was the same language later.
From a man named Proton, he enters the stables under the gaze of a windy suspicion of what relationship it is.
"Cuckoo!"
"Grrrrrrrrrrrr"
As soon as that happens, two different sounds are heard from the back of the stables.
It can also be said that you are already familiar, two approaching with a yellow on Seto's back.
When those two come near Ray and Elaine, Yellow kicks Seto's back and jumps to Elaine, and Seto rubs his face against Ray as a morning greeting.
"Cu!"
"Yeah, good morning, Yellow. You slept well yesterday."
Yellow sounds joyful waving a small, short tail that can't compare to a real dragon to Elaine's words.
"Seto, I hear you slept well yesterday."
"Grrrrrrrrrr"
He grins and speaks as he strokes his face rubbed against him.
In that state, after each one had been twisted for a few minutes, the last time Elaine spoke lightly to the two warhorses pulling the carriage, then the two and the two followed the stables.
At that time, it was probably not Ray's fault that there was no longer a presence called Griffon from inside the stables and other horses and riding monsters seemed relieved.
"Hmm, I knew you'd stand out at first."
"Gru?"
Seto leans his little neck and turns his circular eyes towards Ray, who whines as he walks down the boulevard to the dungeon.
I was scared and depressed Seto when I came to Egzil yesterday, but Ray and Elaine were next door today, and Yellow continued to be on my back yesterday. Thanks to that, loneliness seemed deluded.
"Oh, don't smell a little delicious. Seto, why don't you go buy some?"
"Gru."
Ringing his throat at at Ray's words, he heads to a stall that is opening a store nearby.
That's just called a labyrinth city, and there are many adventurers around who are heading from this hour to the dungeon.
Most of them are eye-catching when they see Elaine, and at the same time they see Seto and have a startling look, Ray and a convincing look.
Inside, the adventurer of a lovely woman sends a hot gaze at the porn, but you were only a minority.
Normally there would undoubtedly have been adventurers involved in Ray for Elaine, but I guess I was fortunate that the day before yesterday the alias Ray's Deep Red spread in the guild, and then I told the adventurers who came to the guild what was going on around it... and as a result of more and more stories being passed on to the people, there was some information spread, and there was no such thing as meaningless entanglement as when I started working in the guild.
Anyway, Ray and Seto speak to the owner of the stall who sells skewers, even though they can look at him like that from around them.
"That looks like a delicious skewer. What meat?
"Da, it's Lizardman's meat you can get in the dungeon."
"Heh, Lizardman? Right, just give me two."
"Okay, I'll have it ready in a minute!
The shopkeeper's man hurries to bake sauced Lizardman skewers to Ray, who pays the price without feeling the gaze from the adventurers around him, but without looking concerned.
You receive a prepared skewer grill at a rate that is as if you assume you can sprinkle the griffon if you are slightly late, and you take a bite first.
Lizardman's meat, which spreads through his mouth, has a texture and taste close to that of chicken. It is painted and cooked with sauce and, when chewed, the sweet and spicy flavour of the sauce spreads with a crisp texture, at the same time the gravy overflows into the mouth.
"Delicious. Look, Seto."
"Grrrrrrrr"
Seto eats the meat as he pulls the meat out of the skewer with a cuckoo whizzing his throat on Ray's offered Lizardman skewer.
"Grrrrrr...... Grrrrrr!
Yummy! and throaty ceto.
The shopkeeper watching as he seemed happy looks at Seto eating his own baked skewer as if he was happy as a lie that he seemed to manage with fear until a few minutes before it happened.
That's the same for the adventurers around, or the shopkeepers around the skewers, who wonder why they were so happy and scared of the person eating the skewers.
(Not at all... I didn't expect to take away my fear of Seto from those around me just by eating skewers. Well, that and this must have been Ceto's adorability)
Elaine was feeling fear slip out of the bodies of those who were watching Seto, with a yellow on her shoulder.
At the same time, new residents and adventurers approaching concerned about stopping the movement also see Seto eating Lizardman skewers in an equally happy manner, holding onto his chest a feeling that he knows where he is.
Keep it that way, about 10 minutes. I asked him to add a few extra skewers and even that, by the time Seto had eaten up, the color of fear had been completely wiped out of the gaze directed at Seto.
"A treat. It was delicious, so I'll drop by again."
"... Ah, yes! Looking forward to hearing from you again!
The stall owner bows his head like he panicked.
Naturally not a single piece of fear already exists in the attitude of the stall owner. Ningro, he was turning his gaze toward Seto as if he would learn to be intimate.
"That, besides this. Did I say Ceto? Give it to that griffon."
That's what I said, and what I offered Ray was a few skewers. Except it's part of the meat that you can't use as a sale.
"Are you sure? Sorry. Seto, look, you too."
"Grrrrrrrrrrrr"
To Ray's words, a throat-soaking ceto.
The shopkeeper accidentally loosened his cheeks to the adorable appearance of Seto.
"That's just what I call a labyrinth city, and there's been a lot of people in the dungeon for a while."
Ray squeaks as he looks at the adventurers lined up in front of the gate to enter the dungeon compartment.
To Ray's words like that, Elaine also nods her gaze again.
"It just doesn't look like the entrance to the dungeon is very crowded, anyway, does it?
The entrance to the dungeon compartment is equipped with a gate, which takes the form of showing a dungeon card to the guard there and going inside, then diving into the dungeon. Unlike the dungeon where Ray and Elaine had the only altar of inheritance with experience, it didn't look like adventurers lined the entrance here.
"Go and you'll see."
Whimpering, Ray goes towards the gate with Elaine and the yellow on her shoulder, and Seto.
Exactly. Many people don't know about Seto if so many adventurers come together, many with a surprised look on their face when they see him.
But still, I guess I should just call myself an adventurer around not escaping when I see a devil's neck hanging on it.
Eventually, the Rays' turn comes and they show the guards their dungeon cards and head inside the gate.
When I saw Seto, I was surprised, and when I saw the dungeon card, I went inside with an even more surprising look on my face. The first thing I saw was a brown cylinder about 3 meters high and about 1 meter in diameter, standing next to the entrance to the dungeon and the staircase leading to the basement.
There is no such thing as a decoration, it's just something that can only be described as a really brown cylinder.
"That's... what?
It was Ray's words that squealed by accident, but what it is turns out to be before Elaine opens her mouth.
When a threesome party touched the cylinder, the cylinder dull glowed and the next moment the threesome disappeared.
"I see that's the transfer device you were listening to."
"Apparently so. And I guess there's nothing more crowded than what it takes to get into the dungeon because of that transfer device. I've never seen it in person..."
Ray and Elaine were naturally attracted to the most prominent devices on the scene. Seto and Yellow bring those two back to sanity, respectively.
Let's get to the dungeon.
Two people gently poked at me by Seto's couch and touched me with a pet on the front leg of a yellow.
"Well, we don't actually know what it's like if we don't dive into the dungeon either. Ray, you want to dive fast? In our case, it's from the first basement."
"Get used to it rather than learn, huh? Sure, that would be nice... but look at that before you do."
Ray looking at the dungeon entrance.
Earlier, my eyes were turned to all the transfer devices, but when I looked closely, I could see that quite a few people were present near the entrance to the dungeon.
When Elaine turned her attention to what she was doing, there was one, if not more, group of people solidifying to speak to those around her.
"It's a bandit recruitment. The purpose is to explore the third basement floor"
"I'm looking for one warrior! This is Archers and Warriors!
"Wizard, no wizard!? Anyone else who can use healing magic will be treated favourably!
"This is Porter. I want you to take care of the luggage. I'm confident about the power, so if you hire me, you don't have to worry about transporting the material!
"I'm a porter, but I can also cover combat with a bow for once. Anybody want to hire me?
People who are talking about their abilities and strengths that way, or calling for someone who has the abilities they want.
"That's what they call a wild party."
Ray, who looked around to be caught by Elaine's gaze, whines as he was convinced.
A wild party is a so-called on-the-spot or day-only party, like a dungeon version of a temporary party that Ray has experienced on several occasions in his guild.
Unlike the Alliance's request, however, the dungeon is almost certain to have a fight. Given that, partying with a few strangers is not preferable, but not everyone can party properly, and wild parties, including Eggzil, are not so rare in labyrinth cities where there are more adventurers than gilms, purely because of the number of adventurers. No, Ningro, in a way, can even be called a specialty. Unlike temporary parties, I guess one of the easy reasons is that you don't have to report it to your guild every time.
"It's none of our business... hmm?
Mumbling, Ray's gaze as he tried to head to the dungeon is directed to a certain place.
Unlike the other wild party recruiters there was a group of nearly 20. Besides, everyone wears different fine designs, but equipment that makes them feel like the unity that they are somewhere else. In addition to a large number of warriors, we can also confirm the existence of bandits and wizards, although small in number.
One of those wizards was feeling Ray's magic and making his expression strong, but Ray opens his mouth as he recieves with the usual.
"Hey, what the hell do you think that group is?
"Those are the Holy Light guys."
It wasn't Elaine who answered Ray's question... it was the voice of a man who was still young somewhere.
