The day after Ray and Elaine had a lot going on at the dinner table.

Still, Ray and Elaine, Seto and Yellow, two figures were on the boulevard heading into the dungeon.

It's just after yesterday's events, so we have a bit of a stiff attitude towards each other, but it's not as intimidating to the surroundings as it was when we were eating.

(I guess it's at least salvation around there)

As we walk in conversation with each other without any other love to erase that atmosphere, we eventually see a skewer stall that we can say we're already used to seeing. It hasn't been that many days since I came to Exile, but I still buy Lizardman skewers and each cheeks up, as I say it's a weather habit.

Even so small, although Ray was somewhat uncomfortable with the sight of Yellow, the dragon, eating Lizardman's meat, he soon remembers that they also normally eat monster meat close to the human form like an oak, and tongue drums on skewers where spices are plentiful without any further concern.

"Gentlemen, are you still going into the dungeon today?

The shopkeeper, who called out, looks worried and turns his gaze to Ray and Elaine.

Even so, it should be said that they are baking meat on skewers with sliced ends that cannot be served to customers as a service against ceto and yellow.

"Of course I go in, but that's now, isn't it? I've been diving in the dungeons every day since I got here, except on my first day."

"No, it certainly is... Actually, a customer of the adventurer told me a while ago that there seems to be a slight anomaly in the dungeon right now"

"... anomaly?

Ray, who had something slightly pinned on the words, asks the shopkeeper just in case.

"Yes. Sometimes powerful monsters appear that I don't think anything is in that hierarchy, and they say the Alliance is drawing attention to them."

While listening to the store owner, I am convinced on the inside.

That a powerful monster would be a Sword Bee queen bee, or a monster like the stone puppet that Vihella defeated.

(Moves a lot faster...... no, isn't it? If you consider it to be Eggzil, which is also a labyrinth city, it is natural in some ways that you will also be informed immediately of a little information about the dungeon)

While thinking that way, I communicate with Elaine, who is eating skewers next to Ray, eyes to eyes.

We should both say just fine around here. Because they communicate with each other the day before and without giving any sense of the subtle atmosphere that had exited the inn and came this far.

"Can I talk to you in more detail?

Ray eats Lizardman skewers and asks the owner.

But the shopkeeper shakes his head small to the side.

"All I've heard here is again, so Ray and the others can get more information by going to the gate in front of the dungeon."

"... the door?

"Yes, because someone checking the dungeon card seems to be handing out a flyer with information about it"

Ray listens to that word and unwittingly raises his voice of convincing. Because it's certainly the information we need in the dungeon, so it was definitely a good idea to be able to find out at the stage before entering the dungeon.

And I didn't know about Ray or the skewer shop owner, but this information is heavily pasted out by the guild.

It has just developed as a labyrinth city, and it was a quick word about the response around it.

"Well, I'll see that flyer soon. Elaine, let's go."

When Ray urges, Elaine also pays the owner of the nodding stall to thank him before heading to the dungeon.

And far enough away from the stall, Elaine whines small enough to sound just like Ray.

"I am very concerned about what information is written. That said, I don't think it says anything more than we know."

"It's not like that. Just being a labyrinth city, this Exil guild moves fairly fast with regard to dungeons. Maybe after we got out of that conference room yesterday, we gathered information from some kind of researcher, expert, or high-ranking adventurer familiar with this dungeon in Exil. Then there's a good chance there's information we don't know."

"You moving that fast?

"Oh. They're just saying it's a labyrinth city, and this Exil is all going around the dungeon. That's what the economy does."

"... Well, I guess that's for sure. In fact, what Exil exports is a lot of monster material that comes out in the dungeons, or magic items. In that sense, it could be said that Gilm's rivals, who are also Ray's strongholds.... Oh, I see. Sure Ray's right."

I guess you said it yourself and understood what Ray wanted to say. Nodding small, Elaine agrees with Ray's words.

If there is anything unusual in that dungeon than Exil being a labyrinth city centered around the dungeon, there is nothing that can be done to affect all of Exil.

While we are surprised that we are naturally able to talk like that, we eventually arrive at the gate that leads to the dungeon.

Unlike several previous times, many adventurers have solidified outside and inside the gate to discuss something. As far as having a flyer in my hand is concerned, I can easily imagine that it would be about what the skewer said.

Two and two were given a piece of paper with such adventurers on their asses, indicating that they would show a dungeon card to the gatekeeper, as usual.

"Problems are currently occurring in the dungeons. I won't stop diving into the dungeon, but dive after convinced me it's more dangerous than ever."

"Okay."

I nod at the gatekeeper's words and quickly glance at the flyer.

What was written there was still what Ray expected.

Monsters may appear that are neither superior nor rare species, most of which are basically stronger than those in that hierarchy. And calling that monster an abnormal species, assuming. Compensation shall be paid to anyone who informs the Alliance of information against abnormal species.

It was a flyer with such content written on it.

Although much of the information was as expected, some of it was also seen by Ray and Elaine for the first time.

The ultimate thing was that there were other people besides ourselves who encountered abnormal species.

There were 10 types of anomalous species currently identified and one unconfirmed species. This unconfirmed refers to the Queen Bee of Sword Bee that Ray and Elaine encountered, and one type that has been confirmed would be the Stone Puppet. When that happens, nine parties, or individuals working solo, besides the Rays, will be encountering unusual species.

"Surely it's unlikely that we're the only ones encountering abnormal species. It's not surprising or anything, considering that."

"Right. But the anomalous species are considerably stronger than the monsters in that hierarchy. With that in mind, it looks like this Exile has an arm's length party."

"Grrrrrrrr"

Watch Elaine squeak with a small grin and draw attention as Seto rattles her throat.

Looking around at Seto's voice, many of the adventurers in the square with the transfer device were turning their gaze to Ray and Elaine.

Needless to say what that gaze means. You want Ray and Elaine, who are powerful fighters, and above all Seto, who is Griffon, to come into their own party.

Until yesterday, solicitation had largely calmed down, but it was clear that the flow of information on abnormal species had once again drawn attention to the power of the Rays.

"Don't punish me or what?"

Unexpectedly, to a sighing ray, Elaine opens her mouth as she tickles the throat of the yellow riding on her left shoulder just in her constant position.

"Somehow our lives are at stake, so it's only natural that we want to build up a little bit of strength."

"Sure, maybe, but you don't need us to hang out with that, do you?

"Right."

Elaine nods to Ray's opinion, and the two and two go straight to the dungeon's transfer device.

Some of the adventurer parties that saw it try to speak to Ray and Elaine as quickly as possible...

"I'm sorry, but like I said before, I wouldn't be willing to put together unless I was a bandit with enough arms to stay out of our way in battle. Only those who can fulfill that condition must step forward."

No one will be there anyway. Speak up to the adventurers who were trying to speak to themselves with that in mind.

No one moves forward to such Ray's words, whether they should still be said or taken for granted... should have been.

"Then what about me? Even if I look like this, I'm confident in my arms."

A man in his late teens wearing leather armor came forward with a grin on his mouth. At your age, above Ray, below Elaine, etc.?

What's on your face is the confidence that no bandit will ever be more than you.... but.

"Sleep and say what you say"

Ray immediately tells me that when he says he's a bandit, he sees too much cluttered footwork.

"Behold! Oh, you... you know who I am and you're saying it!?

"No, you've never seen it"

A bandit man screaming as he dyed his face bright red on Ray's words.

Probably never thought my offer would be turned down. I didn't even look at my arm and was immediately turned down, so I couldn't help it.

I had implicitly indicated that I had some sort of back shield, but what matters to Ray is not the back shield, but purely the arm of the person.

"I'm sorry, raise your arms a little more and then run for it. … Elaine, let's go"

"Uhm."

I nodded at Ray's words and followed Ray just because I wasn't interested as it was when I just glanced at the guy...

"I'm kidding! I serve the Levisole family! You think you can just turn the Levisole family against your enemies in this Exil!? All you have to do is listen to my orders!

A man screams like that at Ray and Elaine, Seto's back.

Note that the yellow remains stopped on Elaine's left shoulder as usual.

Chirali, and Ray looking at the man with his face behind his back.

To that appearance, the man finally grins as to whether he is willing to listen to himself.

But it was an unforgiving word to be hung there.

"I just want to say go to sleep and say... but in your case, even a bedtime statement is going to annoy your surroundings. If you can't say something to me on your own, cry to your dependable parents. At least I'm not gonna throw a little fish like you into a party."

……

Elaine also didn't add anything to Ray's words, but when she glances at the man with a contempt glance, she leaves as she follows Ray. Yes, as if it wasn't even worth hanging words on.

I was born and raised in a house called the Duke's house, Elaine, so I could only feel contempt for a man who tried to push his will through using the power of his back shield, not his own.

"Guru, damn it! Remember that! I'll teach you exactly what it means to defy the Levisole family in this Exil later! Woman, I look forward to kneeling down and asking you to forgive me!

When he throws up toward the two of them leaving, the man leaves straight out of the square in front of the dungeon.

Unaware of the contempt gaze directed from the adventurers around you.

Adventurers are basically those who rely on their own arms to live. Especially since there is a dungeon in this labyrinth city, the trend is stronger than in normal cities. Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that the Lord is an armed adventurer, like the Silva family. Therefore, those who, not in their own arms, use the power of their employers as a back shield, are turned their gaze of contempt rather than respect.

He went to the Levisole family, his employer, wondering what would happen to a man who didn't even know he was being turned that way, and Ray and Elaine didn't even deal with him.

"You fool! I told you to follow those two adventurers around and keep an eye on their movements! Yet what's it like to just sell a fight and come home!

Schaffner's thrown wooden cup, which is also his employer, cracks the man's forehead and bleeds violently.

"No, but Master Schaffner, I..."

"Yeah, no, shut up, shut up, shut up! You incompetent bastard! If they just say no, what are you still thinking about selling a fight from the front against them?

He yelled out loud and the man would indulge in humiliation by just biting his teeth off.

Just accumulating hatred for Ray and Elaine in the back of that brain.
