The sky is blue and high. There is no one cloud, a bright blue sky everywhere and the rays of the sun falling brightly.
Exactly what summer is all about. That's all I can say, that's what Ray and Elaine were walking down the boulevard of Egzil in temperatures close to 30°C.
Rarely are there two Seto and Yellow, totally alone.
As promised last night, I came to buy some tools to combat the desert, which is also a dungeon after the 11th basement floor.
"But if you think about it, you have to attack the basement 10th floor first."
Ray whines as he carries the sandwich he bought from a nearby store to his mouth.
Elaine smiles bitterly as she scratches up her golden hair as if against the rays of the falling sun on such Ray's words.
"Sure, it starts tomorrow on the 10th basement floor, but there's no reason to just attack that 10th basement and then go back to the ground and buy the tools you need for the desert...... right?
I do nod at the words of Elaine, who shrugs her shoulders small.
Or a regular adventurer party might have taken such a means considering the amount of luggage they had. But Ray has mysteries, and Elaine has a magic pouch. Sometimes the Magic Pouch has considerably less to carry than Mystering, but still a set of tools to use in the desert can accommodate it without any problems at all.
"So, you know where it is?
Elaine asks Ray, who is eating a sandwich.
Ray didn't buy a sandwich in the street for nothing. Of course, it's been about two hours since I had breakfast, so I'm hungry, but my biggest goal was to hear from the stall owner about the recommended tool shop. A sandwich with roasted chicken and spicy sauce carried into Ray's mouth was also purchased as an information fee.
"Oh. They go straight down this boulevard and walk past the guild for about 10 minutes before there's a sign depicting rocks and hammers. So they're selling tools for use in the desert from the 11th basement floor, and the quality of the tools is good."
"Rock and hammer? It's like a sign that stands for Dwarf."
"In fact, the shopkeeper seems to be a dwarf, so you can't do it either. However, shopkeepers themselves are often caged in nearby blacksmiths."
Whimpering, throwing the last sip of sandwich into your mouth.
It was a bit of a chunky sandwich with roasted chicken, but for Ray, it was only a snack replacement.
Walk straight down the boulevard with Elaine and pass in front of the guild.
"Don't be silly! Who do you think I am?
I heard such a voice in front of the guild, but the two pass in front of the guild without looking particularly concerned.
If it were normal, or could have made a face to trouble in a remarkable way. But now we're in the middle of an event called Shopping for Two. You stick your face in such trouble, and if you do poorly, you could spend some time listening to trouble around the guards. Given that, not very much, but we weren't both willing to stick our faces in.
(In the first place, in my case, you're strangely fond of trouble. You don't even have to bother sticking your face in from yourself)
Think of it that way, passing in front of the guild with Elaine...... eventually discover the rock and hammer drawn signs as I heard from the stall owner who was selling the sandwich.
As for the size of the store, it is neither small nor large, and it is a very ordinary store. It was a good impression for Ray and Elaine that it was cleaned clean in front of the store.
"Well, that's a good store inside.... So, get in quick. In direct sunlight, it's hot and hostile."
Elaine stares at the sun with that said, but there is no sweat flowing at all from its forehead. I guess thanks to the inheritance of the Enchanted Dragon's Demon Stone around here as well.
From Ray's point of view, I feel that Elaine alone can operate without problems in the desert, but still just in case. Besides, it's a completely different story to not feel uncomfortable with what you can stand.
Note that there are dragon robes that are also simple air conditioning only for Ray, so there are no problems in the desert at all.
"Well, I'm looking forward to seeing what you got."
Usually, Elaine, with an expression such as a grunt, smiles a little and calls out to Ray.
I reach for the door to delude it as I feel my heart rattle for a moment on that smile.
The moment the door opened, a cool bell rang in the store.
As for the store, I guess I put on the doorbell with the idea that I could tell as soon as the guests arrived, but if I tried to lay it on, the wind chimes would pass the back of my brain with the sound of summer and bells.
"Welcome. Looking for something?
Questioning in a tone that stretches the end of the story was the figure of a woman who, as a person in this world, was only about the size of a short Ray's chest.
But it doesn't mean you're young. It's a woman who makes you feel the luster of a strange, mature woman.
"Uh, I need all kinds of tools to use in the desert after the 11th floor underground in the dungeon."
"How many people?
"It's Elaine's share there. And if there's anything that looks good, I want it too."
"Yes, yes, then we'll have it all here."
Tell him so, the woman, who is considerably shorter than Ray, goes into the back of the counter.
Dropping off behind that, Ray gently pulls Elaine's arm around the perimeter where only a few of our other guests seem uncommon next door and asks.
"That clerk is a dwarf... that's fine, right?
According to Ray's knowledge, the Dwarves are quite short for both men and women. However, it is said to be very robust and powerful.
In fact, the Dwarves Ray has seen a few so far were exactly what they imagined.
But the Dwarves Ray had seen were all men, and the Dwarves of women had never seen.
Or you might have seen it in the gilm, or during the war against the Bestian Empire, but it's not at all memorable, and that's why you ask Elaine about the woman's dwarf and the person you think she saw firmly in her eyes for the first time now.
"Yeah? Ray never saw a woman dwarf?
"Oh."
"I don't know for sure if I don't ask him in person, but he's probably definitely a dwarf. Unlike a man's dwarf, a woman's dwarf naturally doesn't have a mustache. Therefore, externally, I can only confirm it with my back and body. Basically, the Dwarves have a high pride in their species. Ask him in person and he'll basically tell you."
"What do you like about booze? The Dwarves I met before were extremely liquor-loving."
Rank C Party Crushed Warrior Brasso passes, who crusaded Harpy with Ray behind his brain.
He's the kind of person who drinks as long as he's free, even smaller as a normal person than a small Ray. Despite being such a body, a magic item of greater than its height with the rigidity characteristic of the Dwarf tribe, a person who wields the hammer of the ground swing with ease.
"Sure, we Dwarves are a lot of liquor lovers, but it's different around here."
It was the dwarf and the clerk woman who came from behind the counter, not Elaine, who responded to Ray's words.
They include coats and water bottles in your hands, small folded tents, magic items to start a fire, and medicine boxes that compactly pack the medicines you need in the desert.
Even a big man wouldn't be able to carry it unless he split it it several times. I guess the power around bringing the amount of luggage in one go is just Dwarf.
Open your mouth again as you pack that package and place it on the counter.
"Some people don't even like alcohol in Dwarves, and hey. Oh, I'm a dwarf, as you can guess."
"Oh well."
Anyway, that tone that stretches the end of the story drives Ray's tempo crazy.
Without knowing how rarely she imitates herself, the woman first removes her coat from the top of the counter.
That coat, which is more sandy than brown... is a coat that covers your head perfectly, not just your body.
"First of all, this is it. As you know, the sun is hard in the desert, so the jacket that blocks it is imperative."
"After all, is the sun tight when it's a desert among the dungeons?
A dungeon where there was an altar of inheritance once challenged by Ray and Elaine. In that dungeon, there was a forest hierarchy, and the sun existed properly even though it was in the dungeon. Besides, the sun is extremely unnatural no matter what you think: it sets at night and rises again in the morning.
To Ray, who asked as he remembered it, the Dwarf woman nods naturally.
"It's a desert somehow, so its sunlight is naturally accompanied by a tremendous heat - Rumor has it that some locations are close to 50°C. … so you will first need a coat that will block the light of day in order to attack the desert hierarchy after the 11th basement floor - This coat is very simple, but it uses alchemy to give it heat resistance. That said, it is only simple, so it is about precisely lowering the temperature by about 5°C."
"5°C, huh? Then you don't need me."
To Ray's words, the Dwarf woman tilts her neck and opens her tease.
"What does that mean?
That, whilst I'm concerned about the phrase that drives me crazy somewhere, makes me look lightly tapped on the dragon robe I'm wearing.
"This robe is a bit of a special magic item. Temperature control is also granted."
"Well, well, well. That's amazing. So, what about the beauty over there?
Did you believe Ray's words, or didn't you think it mattered? Anyway, the Dwarf woman turns her gaze from Ray to Elaine and offers a sandy coat.
"Right, right. Then I'll take it. What else do we have?
"That's right. If it's a desert, what you really need is hydration, so how about a water bottle?
"A water bottle..."
Whimpering, Elaine takes the water bottle that's on the counter.
Certainly that water bottle made of some kind of monster leather would be of higher quality than anything normally sold. But when it comes to water, there is no more drinking water than the running water dagger Ray has. As long as there is more magic, we can produce water, so I shake my neck to the side, deciding that I would just take the place for nothing even if I took the kind of water bottle.
"As for water, there's no need because we can do something about it over here. Next please."
"Really? This water bottle is sturdy, so it can be a simple shield when you're stubborn, but hey. Too bad -"
"... shield?
Ray unwittingly asks back to the words of the Dwarf woman.
Anyway, a water bottle isn't like it was made of some kind of metal. A water bottle made of monster leather that should be described as either a water bag. Even though they told me that would be a shield, I had to lean my neck if I tried to lay it on.
"That's right. It's made from Auga leather, so it's pretty sturdy."
"Auga leather, huh? I see. Then I'm pretty sure it's sturdy. That said, as I said earlier, we don't need it. Next please."
I guess I was extra confident in an Auga leather water bottle. The dwarf woman exhales unfortunately small and then takes out the small folded tent. But...
"I don't need that either."
Ray, who has something close to the finest in the tent, called the Magic Tent, says so lightly.
"Uhm, you sure do"
Elaine, who has used magic tents several times on her way to Exile with Ray, or in the dungeon, also agrees lightly with Ray's words.
"Uh, you don't need this either -?
A dwarf woman who sighs and speaks like that.
There will be no need. Anyway, they said they wanted me to bring a set of things to use in the desert hierarchy, but they said they didn't need most of them.
But the Dwarf woman also has the will to be the clerk of this store.
It's rarely seen that way because of the language, but it's surprisingly priceless because it looks like this.
The two guests in front of her, one woman who looked so beautiful that she didn't attract people to her eyes. And the other is a boy younger than a woman. When I first saw you come into the store, I thought a lot of things like lovers, couples, sisters and brothers, party buddies, but I never see the answer. Still, it was understandable that the boy had a large number of magic items in his previous interactions. So if you're going to cross the night in the dungeon... instead of being a magic item that starts an essential fire as the temperature drops, you reach for a box full of meds with the last trump card.
"There are many poisonous monsters in the desert, and the type of poison can be extremely different from monster to monster. So I'm not saying that the common kind of poisoning is ineffective... but it's thin, so there's a poisoning in this medicine box that specializes in the poison of desert monsters - There are other pills that I might need in the desert, but what about this one?
"Heh.... maybe we should have some kind of poisoning. Ray?"
"Oh, no problem. I don't have any problems with medicines. Please."
Won. The Dwarf woman thinks so without any context in Ray and Elaine's words and opens her mouth to sell more convenient goods.
Then, why would Ray and Elaine be allowed to shop for a few pieces of silver coins?
