Legend

Ray and Lent, who left the wheat pavilion at dusk, and two and one of Seto, were walking towards the main gate.
I wanted to show my face to the guild and ask how far the dismantling of Gamelion went, but if Lent tells me I'm already meeting him in front of the main gate, I can't even say I can't make it that far.
No, I would have headed to the guild if it was a really important business.
But in this case, it is to the extent that I would like to hear it if I could, and I don't need to force myself to go to the guild.
That's why Ray was headed to the front gate agreeing to Lent's words...
"Yeah? What's going on? You're going to the main entrance, right?
To Ray, who asks the skewer in his hand, Lent nods back with a surprised, frightened look on his face.
"That's right...... I didn't expect this to happen as long as I walked through the city for a bit. No, I was asking, but when I actually saw it..."
Lent looks at Seto walking happily eating dried meat.
Also, Lent's appearance is very different from when we met at the wheat pavilion at dusk.
He only had a long sword in the dining room, but now he naturally wore protective gear on that body.
After I left the wheat pavilion at dusk, I checked my gear at the inn where I was staying.
Made of monster leather, this cold gear outweighs the common leather armor and cold.
What's a little unusual is that you carry a metal shield?
Looking at Lent's shield like that, Lent opens his mouth wondering if he noticed his gaze.
"What's the matter, it's not like shields are rare, is it?
"No, that's unusual. Of all the adventurers I've ever met, there weren't that many who would use a shield."
Most of all, it can never be said that Ray has worked as an adventurer for long.
... It's been almost two years, so I can't even say it's short.
Still, less than two years later, Ray had been involved in many cases, but not so many were adventurers with shields in them.
Of course, it is more common than adventurers equipped with full-plate armor, but the problem of weight is quite significant.
The fact that it has weight means that the material stripped from the monster cannot bring back the Demon Stone, the Crusade Proof site, or any other meat, minerals, plants, and so on.
I guess that's what Ray's thoughts were in his sight. Lent kept his shield on his back, but let him clasp his shoulders cleverly.
"I know what Ray's trying to say, but this is about it, considering the peace of mind in battle. Besides, this time the enemy is a gamelion and it's highly aggressive, right?
"I won't deny that, though."
Aside from the sharp fangs growing from the mouth, the bladed ears, the tails that make it look like whips, the very flesh of Gamelion, around three meters long, can be said to be the murder weapon.
Moreover, its body is made of condensed muscles and its character is fierce.
If you're dealing with a gamelion like that, it's certainly not surprising that someone needs shield-like protective equipment.
"That's why. I was a defensive avant-garde at the party."
"... so you're talking about going on a gamelion crusade with us, but as far as I can hear about that, it's not like it's a solo, is it?
"Yeah? Oh, of course. In other words, solo in rank C is pretty rare. Except if you're an expert like yourself."
Instead of Rank C, when you tell the solo Ray in envy despite Rank B, he returns to the story.
"My party is ready to go through the winter. So you can each spend as much time as you want."
"So, you're out of gamelion even though it's cold? It's for women too."
"Ugh, be, it's nothing good!? We'll pay Ray properly."
Lent tells as he strokes his mustache to mislead the story.
I would have liked to make fun of Lent a little more like that, Ray, but I see the front gate, so I'll stop talking about it once.
People don't look that much after the busiest hours of the morning.
Initially, there will be a decrease in the number of people entering and leaving the Guild during this period, but that's why a few of them gathered near the main entrance were even noticeable.
"Are we meeting inside, not outside the gate?
"No, the process should be over by now. I knew you could avoid colder winds on the side of the gate than go outside. That's why.... or, in your case, the adventurer's wisdom in that way..."
Don't you learn or use it?
That's what I tried to say, Lent, but stop the words on the way.
Unless you're partying, Ray's basically working solo.
In other words, aside from meeting as a request, it was decided that adventurers would have less experience meeting each other.
... Actually, the exact thing is that you don't have to worry about the cold thanks to the dragon robe, but Lent can't possibly understand that.
"Yeah? Hey, Lent. You were talking about me going, weren't you? But whatever the carriage is, why are you getting a luggage truck?
Seeing a carriage and luggage near the gathering group, Ray asks in doubt.
If you do manage to defeat Gamelion, it's not normal to carry it.
Not to mention item boxes, and being out as degraded copies is not something that adventurers can easily get more than the right price.
Sometimes it stinks with blood if you load a gamelion into the carriage body.
The easiest thing to do than to be is to certainly carry it in a luggage car...
I had an opinion inviting myself, so I guess I didn't have to prepare a luggage car.
To such Ray's question, Lent scratches his head with illumination.
"No, actually, it can be my discretion to invite Ray."
"... I see. I mean, the score earners against Johanna were strong."
……
To Ray's words, Lent slips away from his gaze gently.
That alone made it ridiculous to pursue this any further, Ray, but this is all I need to say, opens my mouth.
"I do think it was a good idea in the sense of giving it a surprise. It's just... it doesn't always go in the right direction, does it?
"Yeah? What do you mean?
"I told you in the dining room. … you can tell by watching"
Lent, who didn't know what Ray was talking about, asks, but only at first sight, Ray turns his gaze forward... to those of the former guerrillas who aspire to be adventurers - not all of them.
At the end of that gaze, those who noticed Ray's appearance gave a surprise look... not only that, but the appearance of those who were running towards Ray.
"Seto, long time no see!
The woman approached screaming full of joy...... Johanna strokes quickly as she rushes under Seto.
The behavior is familiar to Ray in another person.
(I don't meet Mileyne...... oh my god, I guess I can't do it first)
I hope the face of someone who behaves similarly passes Ray's brain and doesn't become a bizarre feud... and I think half the time I know I can't.
"Keep it around there. Besides, have you guys left the Lords' Hall yet?
That's what I was called, and I guess Johanna finally noticed Ray. He rushes down to Ray and bows his head.
... Though I may say that while doing so, my hands are stroking Seto and represent Johanna's true intentions.
"Captain Ray... not Mr. Ray. Why are you here?
"I was hoping you'd notice by the time Seto was here."
Other former guerrillas gather under a sighing ray.
"Mr. Ray, you look as good as ever"
"Silly, you... it's Mr. Ray, isn't it? If I had that power, I'd blow up sick."
"I don't know about that, but if Mr. Ray thinks he's gonna do it, he's gonna convince me it's gonna be strange. There's me"
Ray also opens his mouth to the three people who interact like that, Johanna in and against the four.
"Long time no see... is that a bit daunting? It's not that long since I broke up with you guys. So, how are you feeling now?
"Ah, yes. I have decided to rent a large house with Master Dusker's handover and plan to live there a few people wrapped up. Now that I'm done moving, I thought I'd go on a gamelion crusade like this."
In those words, Ray remembers when he left his luggage in the Imperial capital of the Bestia Empire… and when he returned the luggage he had left in the mysteries when Dusker was called to explain the dungeon.
"I think Johanna had a fair amount of baggage... did you finish unpacking all that?
"... well, there was someone who could help me somehow"
Chilari and the adventurers' gaze was directed at Lent as he managed to catch a chance to speak to Johanna.
Having understood just what had happened, Ray decided not to say anything more than just the samurai's pity.
(You know, carrying Johanna's stuff... nothing but heavy labor. You're the one who fell in love with weakness)
A glimpse of Lent, Ray once again calls out to those in front of him.
"Whatever. You guys are new to Gilm, and I was hoping to help you out a little bit. Sometimes Lent asked me to do this."
"... Huh? Mr. Ray's gonna help us? Is that it? Could it snow?
"If it's snow, it's not weird when it comes down anymore. Spears down, if you say so? It is."
"There will be flames just for Mr. Ningro Ray..."
Ray smiles in his hood and opens his mouth to that noise that he can't believe what Ray said.
"What, shall I really rain a flame or a spear? I'm good at both, so I'm gonna let you guys down as much as you want, okay?
You must have taken such Ray's words seriously. The three panicked and shook their heads sideways.
"No way. That's not true. See?"
"Of course. Yeah, absolutely."
"Yeah, well, that's not true at all."
Johanna, who loved Seto, tilts her neck at the way the three men rush to utter their words.
"Um, what's going on?
To Johanna's voice like that, heavenly help! and the three shake their heads sideways saying it was nothing.
"Ray said he'd help us do our job. Johanna's happy, isn't she?
"Huh? I'm glad about that, of course... okay?
Ray nods back to Johanna, who asks as she strokes Seto's body, if she doesn't mind.
"What are you guys up to, you're not used to being around Gilm yet. I'm sure Lent can handle most of it. Well, think of this as a farewell from me who was leading you as guerrillas. Luckily, it's not that hard to win gamelions right now... and it should be."
"Oh, I heard you say that. Mr. Ray, he said he attacked the dungeon last time. That's what got Gamelion, isn't it?
Ray nods at the voice of one of the men asking.
"When I said dungeon, it was just a shallow dungeon. Better yet, if you're going, let's go. I'll tell you what, all I'm gonna do is go so far as to find Gamelion. It's your job to punish them."
It was Ray's word that he told him he wouldn't fight, but all four of them, including Johanna, who heard it, do not give a particularly dissatisfied look, nor do they give back a nod.
Lent also wanted me to help him on the inside, but if the Johanna you're looking for accepts that's okay, there's no way he can complain about anything.
(Plus if Ray fights, they'll take all the good places. Then I want Johanna to see where I work)
Lent is also an adventurer of the Guild.
I understand from the bottom of my heart how much power the little person in front of me actually has behind his back with his appearance.
It was easy to imagine that if such a ray fought Gamelion against him, it would work unilaterally.
In fact, Ray has won by dealing with nearly fifty gamelions in the dungeon's offense, and most importantly, if you try to be a former guerrilla, he's so active that there's no more in the civil unrest of the Bestian Empire.
"Looks like I borrowed it when it comes to the luggage truck, but what do we do? I can carry the monster's body in the item box for once, including Gamelion."
If you say so, not everyone will tell you to take a luggage that is only in the way when you travel, and in the end that luggage will soon be returned to where you rented it.
"Well, shall we go then? If you go now, you'll be back in the evening. Yeah, I'll tell you what, it's not until I get back to Gilm that I'm cooperating. I'm not going to get my hands on dismantling Gamelion or anything, so I'm going to. You're not very good at it."
"If you put it that way, you did. Then I'll take care of that one. Let Mr. Ray expect me to bring him some gamelions."
Thus, Ray and Seto, Lent, Johanna and three of their companions, together, six and one, began their action to defeat Gamelion.
