Having finished enough contact with Seto, Ray was on his way to the dean's office, as he had been told the day before.

Seto has been sweet to Ray for playing more, but Ray has been hired as a teacher for once.

I can't even skip that from the first day, I'm walking around the school breaking up with a crying ceto.

The sad chirping of Seto, heard as he walked away from the stables, was still in his head.

I would have liked Ray a little more ceto if I could...

(Right, even if you say you have classes, it doesn't mean everything's buried during the day. Then should I go to Ceto's when I don't have class?... Horses would be a shame though)

The stables with Seto are stables for staff.

There are a handful of horses used by instructors.

There were horses who were personal horses or borrowed from schools, but lived in stables without such distinction.

But...... for the horse, spending one under the roof with Seto, who can be described as an overwhelming absolute, was clearly stressful.

(I guess it's best to get used to Ceto before you can handle it under stress...)

Like a stables in a wheat pavilion at dusk, and.

Walking inside the school thinking about Seto, Ray realizes that a lot of her gaze is focused on herself.

What is it?

Doubt it, clear your ears.

"Hey, who's that guy? You're not a student at this school, are you?

"You're a lot smaller. Is that a woman? Is that a man? A man would mean a child."

"Hmm, here comes the lowlife again to this school where it comes from"

"Whoa, okay, that guy. The fact that you're not wearing a uniform means you're probably not a student, but someone who was invited to be a teacher, right? That's what you say to them..."

"A lot of guys don't lose their sense of privilege when they come in here."

"Light, huh?"

"What? What's going on all of a sudden?

"No, from what I've heard, I'm talking about that guy being a radiant light in a wizard. I just heard Dr. Samaroon say that."

"So you know who that guy is? Tell me."

"No, unfortunately I don't. It's just a pinch in my ear that Dr. Samaroon said. You can barely see your face in the first place because you're wearing that hood."

"You can't use it. If you're Dr. Samaroon, it's easy for you to listen, isn't it? Then listen to me."

"No. Wouldn't it just be a waste of time to talk to Dr. Samaroon in that state?"

"Anyway, you're not a student here, are you? Then you're the instructor, right?

"Adventurers, knights? I know you're an adventurer from that look... even though you're smaller than us?

"Is that a theory about magic, not a real battle? From what Dr. Samaroon said, it's no surprise, is it?

Such a voice is heard in Ray's ear.

(I see.... I can't help but notice that so many students are in uniform and I'm not the only one in uniform)

Those who look at Ray and talk a lot of rumors are all students and each wears a uniform similar to a blazer.

It seemed to Ray that that uniform, which saw some design commonality between the two sexes, would look good as a cadet school uniform held by the Duke's family.

(Some guys are privileged rounded up, naturally.)

Ray wanted to grin at the scornful gaze directed at him from those who would even like to call him the Keepsake Reserve, but he endured it and headed toward the school building.

Students making a scene again when they see Ray entering a school building with the school director's office.

With those students at his back, Ray walks into the school building.

Some students, maybe trespassers? I was thinking about things like that, but I immediately abandon the idea because I don't think there can be anyone else who would dignify and trespass.

Ray turned his gaze to the school building where he went in, and the topic of the morning was strange adventurers and thoughtful men accounting for a lot of things.

"Lord Ray, you've come well. Did you sleep well yesterday?

Ray, who entered the dean's office, is greeted with such a voice by Erinde, who was checking some paperwork at the desk.

Elf's Elinde looked like she couldn't tell if she was a man or a woman, just like yesterday.

I can't possibly change my appearance in one day, but if my outfit changes...? Ray snorts, unfortunately, just because of the thought.

"Oh. I slept well. I'll beat the wheat pavilion at dusk."

"Haha. That would be so. Speaking of the wheat pavilion at dusk, it is one of the finest inns in the Guild. Especially the food over there."

Erinde's tone was relative to where he had been.

(Well, you live longer than normal in an elf. You've been to more places than I have, of course.)

Erinde opens his mouth to Ray, who thinks up on the shelf that he is also half-aged.

"Well, from today on, Lord Ray will be teaching mock warfare... but whatever you are, you can't let all the students in the school deal with you."

"... What do you ask now, how many students are in this school?

To the question out of Ray's mouth, Erinde moves his eyebrows to reveal a slight surprise.

"Oh. Didn't you hear that from Samaroon?

"I've been guided to school, but I haven't heard anything about it."

"Absolutely, that guy can't help it either. All right? This cadet school is a four-year school. On average, there are about two hundred people in a school year. I mean, in total, we have nearly 800 students. Together with the instructors, the staff, the people who work underneath, there are almost a thousand people living here."

What do you say? It was Erinde asking proudly, but Ray questions it and opens his mouth.

"Nearly two hundred instructors and staff... the staff dormitory I live in isn't that big though?

"Oh, that's the thing. The staff dormitory is another place where Lord Ray lives. And don't go in the dorm and rent a house, or my parents are in Graciar, and some of them go from there."

"... I see"

With a snort, I would have liked you to rent a house somewhere instead of a staff dorm if you could, or even take it in the inn... Ray I think.

Though I thought that would allow Seto and I to play whenever we wanted, I would immediately deny that.

(If it was an inn, would you be further away during class than in the stables here)

If that happens, if you do poorly, Seto might come out of the Inn stables to see Ray.

No, Seto is okay to stay away from Ray for a few days or so, but Ray still thinks that if you think of the love Seto is going to have towards you, you can't deny the possibility.

"That's what happened, and you can't tell Lord Ray to do a mock fight on all his nearly eight hundred opponents, can you?

"... I don't think there's anything you can't do, but it'll take a long time to waste. That's what I'm concentrating on defeating, and they're likely to pass out before they know what it is. Then there's no point in doing a mock fight."

"I guess. That's why I want you to be in charge of three and four year S classes only."

"Class S?

"... that Samaroon didn't explain that either?

Ray nods to Erinde, who asks as he moves his hiccups and cheeks.

Actually, it's because I didn't hear about the class.

"Totally, my research on magic is excellent, and my students admire it quite a bit... I can't trust it completely because there's something missing in between like this"

He had no choice, said Ellinde, sighing, continuing to explain to Ray.

"Classification of this cadet school will basically be in order of merit. You're gonna be a knight or an adventurer when you graduate, so you need to make sure everyone knows what you're capable of, right?

"... well, I won't deny that"

"Good for you, in that opinion. Some officials tell us to divide our classes regardless of our merits.... Whatever. The class division is based on the rank of the adventurer. I mean, with S, A, B, C, D. Five classes for forty people per class. That brings the total to two hundred for a school year. But some of the students quit for some reason, and it certainly doesn't mean that there are forty people in a class."

"I mean, I teach a class where top performers are gathered both this year and next year."

"You will.... What do you think?

"I'll take care of the area. I'm not familiar with this cadet school, and I don't know how to teach my students. However, you'll need to see how strong each one of them is before you teach them once."

"If you do, this one will help.... Well, it's time for a four-year S-class for a mock fight..."

At a time as if waiting for that word to come out of Erinde's mouth, the door is knocked.

"Apparently, the time was just right.... come in."

"Excuse me."

It was a muscular man with no hair on his head who told him so and came into the room.

He's not that tall, but still tall compared to Ray.

He is in his thirties and looks tough enough to be convinced if he is told he is a simulation instructor.

(Shaving? Bald?...... probably shaving)

But that's how Ray felt when he saw the man.

The face of a man who would undoubtedly atrophy if he were normal, but Ray has seen many tough faced men before.

That's why Dusker, also Lord of the Guild, has a very tough face.

"You just got here on time. Thanks, Grink."

"No.... so is that who you were talking about before"

"... what?

Because he's a skinhead man, Ray, who just thought he was going to make a rambling speech, is unexpectedly surprised at the polite language that came out of the man's mouth and makes a loose voice in between.

But I guess the guy's used to reacting like Ray.

The man, called Grink by Erinde, bows his head without looking particularly surprised by Ray's words.

"Nice to meet you. It's called Grink, who is a teacher of mock warfare at this cadet school. It's a pleasure to meet Deep Red and the famous Ray."

"Ah, oh. Yeah. It's Ray. Uh, in the short time leading up to spring, thank you."

Polite language coming out of a tough face. So for saying it's an honor to meet Ray. He doesn't look particularly happy, he doesn't know what kind of attitude to take, and I'll tell him so anyway.

"I'm the one who's going to look at Ray's strength and let me study."

"Apparently, we're going to get along. Okay, Grink. Give my regards to Lord Ray."

"Yes.... then, Mr. Ray. Shall we go?"

Tell him so, and Grink urges Ray to leave the dean's office.

Ray also leaves the dean's office after that.

We both walk down the hall side by side, but we don't exchange words with each other.

Originally, Ray wasn't used to being able to communicate smoothly with the person he met for the first time, and Grink probably didn't like imitations like slapping him in the mouth for nothing.

Still feeling uncomfortable just moving around silently, Ray asks Grink about the mock fight.

"Grink, it was. I don't mind doing a mock fight, but can you tell me exactly how strong the three and four year S classes I'm in charge of are?

"Strength, is it?... Right."

Grink's also answered as soon as Ray shook the subject whether he actually had trouble dealing with Ray.

Most of all, that would be natural too. Because I have to be more cautious about the latter no matter what I think of Ray to Grink and Grink to Ray.

This difference is enormous between one or an adventurer with an alias, and one or a teacher at a cadet school.

"It's only a rough indicator, and it varies greatly from individual to individual, but if the three-year S-class is an adventurer, is it roughly rank F, the four-year S-class is rank E, etc."

"You're lower than I thought."

To Ray whining, Grink shakes his neck to the side.

"We do very little in action, because training alone really has its limits. Regardless of the border, powerful monsters don't show up in this neighborhood. Not at all, of course, but it takes a lot of effort to find such a monster."

"I guess."

Ray has also taken many trips to places other than the Gilm on the border since he came to this world.

In that case, I understood that naturally the monsters that come out there are weaker and fewer in number than the border.

"It's just... some students have defeated bandits, not monsters, so I think they're pretty strong compared to other students."

Ray thought that he might be able to fight a little funny.
