Legend

Ray, who entered the mansion, was led to the room by breaking up with Seto at the entrance.

Seto, who broke up at the entrance, should be filling his belly faster than Ray by now, as Mebastian told him to feed decent food, not the mansion's people...

In this case, was it the one who told Seto to feed him?

The man who wasn't as fat as Mebastian was treating Seto to a fearful Seto, afraid of seeing Griffon up close.

... and ask the cook who serves the Earl of Salmus house to cook several dishes and transport them under Seto.

The cooks who also had to cook the dishes to feed Seto while he was being chased to prepare for a meeting between Reubrand and Ray would have been the busiest of the mansion at present.

"Heh..."

Ray is just a little surprised when Mebastian carries the tea he told the maid to prepare into his mouth.

I thought it would be normal tea because it tasted a little spicy.

For a moment I thought it was poisonous or something, but soon I know it's some kind of spice.

I'm not that familiar with cooking, Ray, so I don't know what the name of the spice is.

However, the tea, which gives it a slight spiciness, is followed by a rich milk flavour that spreads into the mouth.

(When I was in Japan, I saw an Indian milk tea called Chai on TV, but something similar? but it's such a desert, and of other animals, not milk... or a monster's milk, I guess)

The first sip surprised me, but when I was taking two or three sips, I could see it would surprisingly fit Ray's mouth as well.

Drinking something similar to Chai eventually knocks on the door of the room.

"Excuse me, Lord Ray. The meal is ready. Master Lewbrand is here for you."

"Okay."

Nodding at Mebastian's words, Ray rises from the couch where he was sitting.

For a moment I also wondered if I could dress like this, but I also reckon it's because I'm dressed like this to meet Dusker, Lord of the Guild, in the first place.

... Well, in Dusker's case, it doesn't matter what they look like, because of their personality, which can also be called their molding, unless there's much left to do.

"Then show me around."

"Yes, this way"

When Mebastian greets him, he leaves the room with Ray.

I kept going down the aisle for a few minutes and eventually stopped in front of one room.

Is the door bigger than the room because it still means the room where you eat?

Ray thinks as he looks at a door that's bigger than the door in the room… or two.

I wonder if the door is large when gathering a large number of guests to eat and when carrying in a large plate of dishes.

And from the stream I remembered Dusker earlier, or from the office door of Dusker's mansion.

Luxurious doors, like you can call them works of art just for that door.

From Ray's point of view, knocking was the kind of door that would make me horrible, but I guess those who serve Dusker are used to it. He reached for the door without any particular hesitation.

Into what seemed like a dining room while thinking that way, the anticipation was stunning.

There is a large rectangular table with one man sitting at the edge of that table.

A man in his forties or so in the middle of middle meat.

At first Ray didn't think it was Lewbrand when he saw the man.

For better or worse, the aristocracy Ray has met has many personalities in many ways.

Also, there was a somewhat impressive part of it, even if it wasn't that distinctive.

But... the person at the end of Ray's gaze right now doesn't exist such an impressive part.

I guess I should describe it as characteristic even if it doesn't have any characteristics.

(Is this really Lewbrand? Actually, you wouldn't be a shadow fighter, would you?

I had my doubts that way Ray, but I don't think a country like the Kingdom of Mireana would use shadow fighters in a small country like Solrain anyway.

(Because is this guy real? No, but... um, what's going on around here?

Lewbrand opens his mouth to Ray, who worries without knowing if the person in front of him is real.

"Is your Lord Ray? You think you're an adventurer with an alias for everything? It's good to see you, Lord. You should sit down. A little early, but let's have lunch."

At the end of Lewbrand's gaze are several dishes.

Of particular significance would be the fish caught in the oasis.

It is a very valuable ingredient in this gosh, but it is still in the position of the lord of the gosh that this can be prepared easily.

(Well, Augusto had fish available, and I guess that doesn't explain the price that ordinary people can't get at all)

While watching the steaming dishes of the fish, Ray sits in his chair as recommended by Lewbrand.

"I have some of your Lord's information in here. You think you defeated sand thieves with sandserpents and sand boarding anything, and you also defeated Sandrizzard Man? He's got a nickname, and he seems to be very handsome."

Sometimes after Ray was wondering what tone to speak to the person in front of him, but a little lost, he hasn't been clearly hostile yet, and polite - for Ray, though - returns the words in tone.

"Fortunately, I have an excellent partner."

"Well, well. After all, Griffon sounds like a great monster.... What do you say? The griffon is heard to be the obedience of the Lord. Aren't you willing to give that away?

Is that why you invited yourself? And for a moment I think, there's no such thing as a greedy color in Lewbrand's eyes that he really wants a griffon.

He wants it, but it doesn't seem like he's saying he wants it from the bottom of his heart.

(What? I knew you were the type I'd never seen before. What's going on?

I had my doubts, Ray, but that's not why I'm riding Lewbrand's suggestion here.

"Unfortunately, Seto is a monster who has grown up with me since I was a little girl. Speaking of which, my friend... no, I could say family. Does Master Lewbrand give his family away if he says he wants someone?

"I will."

"It would be. I mean, me too... Huh?

Ray glances at Lewbrand for that word, which came into Ray's words.

With such Ray's gaze, Lewbrand goes on to say things like what he's surprised by.

"Look, nobility is more about the very existence of the house than the individual. That doesn't change me either. That's why you married an older wife, ten years old."

"... I'm not in that split?

If you're married, isn't it strange to have a wife or child in this dining room? To Ray, who tells him so, Reubrand smiles small and flaunts his shoulders.

"My wife and son are currently in possession and going to Larnide"

"... larnide?

It was an unfamiliar word, but it was Ray who decides from that word that it must be some city, but now Lewbrand has a surprising look on Ray's face like that.

"You don't know? This is the capital of the Sollain nation."

"Uh... with that said, I feel like I've heard"

I try to hide the lightness and stretch the fork to the steamed fish, thinking like I heard from the marina......

Sauce with plenty of spices for a pale white fish that softens and dissolves in your mouth.

I'm pretty sure it's a good enough dish to describe...

(Kathy's got better cooking skills.)

Kathy's cooking I had at Augusto's house was definitely better on top as a flavor.

(In this case, should the skill of cooking praise Kathy above the cook in the Lords' Hall... no, but in Kathy's case, praise is the power of love, or something like that)

For the first time ever, Ray smiles a little bitterly.

Then Lewbrand opens his mouth to see if he thought anything about how Ray looked with a bitter smile.

"What's wrong? Its steamed fish dishes are quite luxurious in this gosh. Of course it may not be that special to Ray who lived in the kingdom of Mireana...... didn't fit his mouth?

"No, it's delicious. This is the first time I've been to Gosh to eat fish that live in an oasis."

The word is never a lie.

The fish Ray has been eating is basically river fish. And the sea fish I bought at the Harbor Street Emosion.

I grew up in an oasis because it was the first time I had eaten fish in a dish served at Auguste's house.

(I've never eaten a fish like a lake, but is this how it's shaped?

It was Ray who thought like that, but Lewbrand opens his mouth before he goes ahead with the thought.

"Right or right. I'm glad you said that. I was about to serve more hands-on dishes... but this was a rush."

"Well, that's for sure"

Mebastian came to see Ray and came to this lord's mansion.

With that in mind, I'd say it was brilliant that Ray cooked all this food in the short time since he came to the mansion.

(Because Kathy took the time to cook, so it's not like Kathy's got a better arm than the cook here)

In Lewbrand's words, Ray finds out he was mistaken.

Not that anyone can cook better than this over time, but if they still have more than a certain amount of arms......

Ray came to this lord's hall, and the waiting time in the guest room isn't that long.

If in the meantime you let them cook many different dishes in the wind, from steamed fish to salads made with stews, stir-fries and vegetables and fruits, that would definitely be top notch.

Once again tasting the many dishes in front of me, Reubrand unwittingly opens his mouth watching it satisfactorily.

"Well, Ray. This is why I called you to meet with an adventurer with an alias, but for other reasons."

"... reason, is it?

It's like boiling some kind of meat in oil...... Reubrand nods back at Ray asking as he pinches a dish in the bread that can also be called an oil sardine made of meat.

"Oh. Your lord says it's only been a few days since you came to this gosh, but it's become quite famous. You understand that, don't you?

"It's, well..."

Using Griffon's Seto as his obedience, he was close to Augusto, who is hostile to Daridora, the meeting of this Gosh and strongly influential Elamaic Chamber of Commerce, and even took the sand boarding that Daridora has.... although nominally in the form of a snatch from a sand thief.

Even though I am such a gosh...... quite big in the Solrain country, it was only natural to be talked about in a city not as big as Gilm.

There are still few who have seen Ray's strength in itself, but they certainly exist in such conditions as those who received Augusto's escort with Zaroust and four dust claws.

And most importantly, it would still be Seto's presence that Ray is talking about.

The presence of Griffon had that much intense impact.

"Let's just get straight to it. Does your lord disagree with planting Tyra trees around the gosh to make them monster proof?

"What? Uh, why are you suddenly talking like that?

Of course I know Ray is currently cracking his opinion in two on whether to repair the wall with this gosh or use the Tyra tree for monster protection.

Although it is most split in two, Daridora is overwhelmingly in favor of using Tyra's tree.

If they still ask if the forces of those who use the barrier as it stands, which Augusto supports, are powerless, that is never the case.

Apart from Augusto, there are independent steps that are somewhat beyond the power of the Eléma Chamber of Commerce.

With such people Augusto is against working hard to use the Tyra tree, but naturally it was disadvantageous.

But... what happens if a Ray-like presence adds up there.

It wouldn't just be pure combat power, it would even take topicality.

That was never acceptable to Lewbrand, who was holding hands with Daridora.

Ray thinks a little bit about Lewbrand as he looks at himself.

I was wondering if I could be involved in this Gosh event.

I thought there was always some reason more than Marina suggested to come here, but I don't know if that's this. I don't know, so...

"I don't know at the moment"

That's what I said.
