Legend

Having gone into the library through the process, Ray is surprised that there are more people out there than he expected.

I wondered if there was a wizard man on his desk who was reading many books on top of each other, and a wolf beast man seemed bored to read some book a little farther away, and a woman who seemed to be a sheep beast man was sleeping with a table on her pillow and woken up by an elf man.

Ray first came to this library not so long after he came to Gilm.

I've been to this library several times since, but I've hardly seen my face in the winter.

That's why it was a little surprising to Ray that there were so many people in the library.

(Is it popular even in reading?

I don't hate the act of reading books...... for Ray, who likes Ningro, it's never a bad thing that more people use the library.

However, the increase in the number of users of the library also means that Ray cannot read the books that those users are reading.

(I mean... at the moment, you wouldn't be missing the book I read anymore, would you?

I had a few conversations with Kenny before I arrived at the library, but I was late... not really.

In the first place, the library is open in the morning.

In contrast, it was about 10 a.m. when Ray left the inn.

There would normally have been many library users at that point.

(I wish there was something about silver lion material)

Look for books, thinking about the purpose of coming to this library.

Several people on the way were looking at Ray and turning a surprise glance, but Ray doesn't care.

Originally Ray was prominent in the Guild, but it was announced that he had attacked the dungeon in addition to it.

I understood why you have gaze on yourself, and if you seem to care about that gaze, you can lose the stress.

It was Ray going through the bookshelves in turn ignoring his gaze, but although there are books written about the material of the monster, it was only rank A even if it was rank C or D...... and there were no books written about the material of the rank S monster.

But if you think about it, you deserve it.

In the first place, a rank s monster is not that easy to meet.

Even the Ningro Rank A Monster exists once in a lifetime.

… but the residents of Gilm meet with a Rank S monster equivalent Ceto as they do every day.

Either way, Seto, by way of exception, doesn't have the chance to meet such a high-ranking monster, so I guess it's only natural that the very knowledge he writes in the book hasn't been conveyed.

Of course there are those who have fought and won the Rank S Monster before, so I guess it doesn't mean they don't have all the knowledge.

But that is naturally a very rare example and very few compared to monsters below rank B.

Naturally, then, there was not much information out there.

Nor was it often done to spread information in this world.

"Is it not in the end?... It's a guild, and I thought maybe there would be."

If this were a normal village, city or city, Ray wouldn't have been so sorry either.

Gilm, however, is a periphery, and thus there are by no means few examples of encounters with rare monsters.

That's why maybe... yes it wasn't strange for Ray to expect it.

"Then something else..."

The significance of Ray's coming to the library was lost beyond the lack of a book of purpose.

Still, I even bothered to come to the library, so I'm going to look for some books that might even be interesting to read.

But naturally, interesting books are what others want to read, and such books win the early.

Of course some people think it's funny, so not all interesting books are gone.

But few books exist that Ray would like to read.

Walking in front of the bookshelf, Ray wondered if there was anything, but fu one of them catches my eye.

"The Adventures of Lepples......?

Neither does Ray know why he cared about the book.

Still, I guess I reached out and took that book because it still meant something.

Find an empty desk and sit there.

That's how Ray, who opened it, saw a story made only of texts with no pictures or anything.

Ray continues to read Elgin's book, which is a common form of book.

The content was in the form of a common hero, Tan.

A story where a boy finds a long sword that was piercing a rock in a cave, and by pulling it out he gains strength, wins various trials, and ends up being called a hero.

Often...... it was a really common story, but Ray tilts his neck after reading it without taking an hour.

That's not like there was anything wrong with this hero Tan.

But it's because I didn't know where the story was.

For example, some of the trials you take are similar to the novels and comics Ray read when he was in Japan.

Pulling out a long sword pierced by a rock is not unusual in this world because it can also be called formal beauty.

But many other places had familiar settings.

(This was... definitely written by a guy in Japan who also has knowledge of comics and stuff, right?

I think so Ray learns to question...... take the book and head under the scribe.

"I just want to ask you, do you know who wrote this book? If you knew, I'd like you to tell me."

"Huh? Huh, uh... is that a Lepples adventure? This book has been around for a long time, so who wrote it..."

The clerk shakes his neck to the side looking sorry.

"A long time ago? How long exactly is that?

"Come on? At least I remember my grandfather letting me read it when I was a kid, so I think it was at least about that time ago. There seem to be countless copies."

The clerk's age is about forties.

When the clerk told me to read it to him when he was a child, it would be twenty or more years ago.

"Yeah, right."

I wonder if Ray, besides himself, has come to this Elgin from Japan.

I just thought so, and unfortunately I sigh.

"Well, I'm sorry"

"No, I'm sorry I didn't know the exact year"

The clerk bows his head small toward Ray.

But Ray tells him he doesn't mind shaking his head against such a clerk and returns to his earlier seat.

Behind Ray, the scribe, who had finally raised his head, was looking at the other scribes with envy.

You must have been jealous that I talked to Ray.

Given Ray's visibility in the guilds, it's no surprise that some people take such an attitude.

Unaware of the acts taking place behind her back, Ray turns his gaze to the book again as he sits in his chair.

(I wrote this, maybe... no, definitely the guy from Japan. That's a few years before I came to this world, considering the original stuff written here. No, not necessarily?

The content used in the original story is a lot of comic books released a few years ago when I was in Japan because of Ray's perception, but I don't think that's why I came to Elgin a few years before Ray.

Perhaps it was by chance many of the things around it in the author's knowledge that are used for what is written in this book, and in fact more human beings who lived in the world before it.

(Well, all sorts of things unnatural in years, that's what I knew when I was Takum.... Wait. Could this be what Takum wrote was left of it, or something like that? No way, it wasn't written by Kabazid)

The fact that the First Prince of the Bestian Empire wrote such a novel does not fit the image slightly.

In the first place, if it had been a fairly famous work for thirty or forty years, it would not be an imitation that could be done by Kabazid.

(But if Takum?

I'm from Japan as well as I am...... so while I am, unlike myself and Kabazid, who came to this world with their souls alone, who came as flesh.

And if Takum came to this world a long time ago than himself or Kabazid, it wouldn't be surprising to write one or two books.

... Still, the time when Takum lived wasn't a few decades old, so I wonder if even a copy still has the book from that time.

(Anyone but Takum, after all? Well, that's a good enough possibility. I don't know why Takum or Kabazid came to Elgin anyway.)

Given the age of life, there is nothing strange about thinking that there are people from Japan besides Takum, Kabazid, and myself.

"Can't we find out about this author right after all?"

If he's still alive, I want to use any means to make contact.

That's what I thought, Ray, but there's nothing I can do if you're not alive in the first place.

Maybe I can't deny the possibility of having offspring, but Ray wants to see them because they're Japanese, not their offspring.

Of course I'd like to see him if I could, but I didn't think I'd want to put enough effort into finding him so that I might see him.

"Can't you help the area?"

With all due regret, Ray has no further custody, and once again turns to a novel he thinks his own kind has written.

While Ray also remembers the development, he still reads and is distracted by the story.

After reading it without standing for an hour like that, I return the book to the bookshelf.

Maybe there are other novels written by the same author?

I'm going to look at the bookshelves with that in mind, but many of the books don't have the names of the authors on them.

(Academic books and stuff, a lot of guys have pretty solid authors' names on them)

Unfortunately, Ray tried to pick some books...

Unexpectedly to the sound of my belly claiming itself violently, I reckon it was time to say so.

It was just after 10 a.m. when I came to this library in the first place, and given the time I was reading the book, it wasn't strange that it was noon.

Also, if you remember Seto, who would be waiting outside the library, leaving Seto hungry at noon was an impossible option.

It was unfortunate that I was unable to obtain information about the material of the silver lion, but it would still have made enough sense to come to the library to be able to find the novel I had read earlier.

Satisfied that he wasn't wasting his legs, Ray left the library...

"Well, you are. If Seto were here, would he be?"

I am frightened but strangely convinced by the sight that is spreading ahead of me.

There, many gathered around Seto, and there was a sight of each stroking Seto or feeding him.

The number of people gathered, besides those who are directly stroking Ceto or feeding him, are satisfied to see how it is.

Together, the Ten would be superior.

Seto was happily throbbing and stroking his body while he was in such a good position.

He also strikes a tongue drum at dishes that are easy to carry like sandwiches and skewers.

"Ah, Ray Squad...... Mr. Ray!

Seeing Ray like that, one of those who was around Seto waves happily.

He's one of the party members who was in the dungeon with Johanna.

"Isn't it time to get used to the way you call it?

"Haha. I'm sorry, I really..."

Ray and his former guerrilla face-to-face have been dating for quite some time, but it wasn't that long that Ray, as captain, dealt with his former guerrilla face-to-face.

That would already be a longer relationship since the end of the civil unrest in the Bestian Empire.

But still, for former guerrilla faces, I guess Ray is the captain.

That's all the shock the guerrilla troops had when they saw Ray during the civil unrest, and that's why Ray's impression of captain is so strongly engraved.

Ray can't blame you too hard either, just because you know that.

I don't know why, but in the end, it was the status quo.

Most of all, if Ray was disgusted with being called captain, he would have made him say it more firmly.

In the end, Ray didn't like it that much, which was the reason for the current situation.

"With that said, when do you want that... example party?

"Oh, there you are, too.... Right. It's a corner, and a barbecue party in the snow might be interesting."

It occurred to me that Ray groaned so with a grin.
