The day after receiving the nomination request at the guild, Ray was in front of the dining room where he was introduced to Kenny.

The dining room is one that Ray has used several times before.

Unlike the full pavilion in Ray's destination dining hall, on the back street, the store faces the boulevard.

The flavour of the dishes served is also just something you can do on the boulevard and it's never a bad thing.

I know when I eat here that the usual guests are not full, but I still don't have a single customer.

"So... Seto, I'm sorry, but you're gonna be waiting here, okay?

"Gru!"

I don't mind, Seto, who rattled his throat, lies right next to the store.

Thinking about a new dish doesn't make Ray much of a seto today.

That's why I was going to have Seto even snow play in the backyard with the stables with the kids who came to visit me at the inn today so that I wouldn't get bored... for some reason only today, Seto showed with his attitude that he was going with Ray.

The children...... and Mileyne and Johanna both sent out, regrettably, if Seto were to say so.

... Most of all, in the case of Mileyne and Johanna, I guess because Seto was competing for the breadth of his mind if he meant to do what he wanted.

It should be noted that Ray was able to predict why Seto came with him only today.

I guess I heard it was a new dish and remembered when I made udon before.

That I had that taste.

It was Ray's expectation that even with this steamed bread... meaty, Seto was looking to taste it.

"Yeah?... Ah, Mr. Ray! And Seto!

Did you hear me talking to Seto on the table, abruptly in the store... this time Ray has issued a nomination request to think about a new dish, the golden bread pavilion door opens and one woman shows her face.

Ray naturally looked familiar to the person.

I don't know his name, but he was the one who waitressed when he ate at this store.

How old are you in your early twenties?

I'm not looking particularly neat, but the bright smile I'm pointing at Ray and Seto is attractive enough and someone I should call my golden bread pavilion billboard daughter.

"Oh, I'll take care of you today. It's Ray."

To such a waitress, Ray briefly introduces himself.

"Oh, I'm sorry. You still haven't introduced yourself, have you? I'm Sandrine. Come on in. I don't have much time."

Ray is led into the store by Sandrine, who tells her with a smile.

Given the size of the entrance and exit of the store, Ceto cannot enter and exit naturally.

Originally Ray wasn't going to let Seto in the store, but still, Sandrine looks sorry...... head to the back of the kitchen and bring some boned meat.

I guess he even used it for some soup stock. Bones.

I don't have much meat on me, but did it still look delicious to Ceto, Ceto's circular eyes staring at that boned meat... no, I was looking at that like I should call it a meaty bone one way or the other.

"Yes, Seto. I can't let Seto in the store, but you can eat this and wait, okay?

"Gru!"

Sleeping happily at the side of the store, he snapped his throat, boned his bones.

"Well, I'd like Ray to think about a new dish with your father soon... okay?

"Oh, you can always come this way."

With that said, they go into the kitchen.

"Father, Mr. Ray is here. Okay?

"Oh, are you here yet? I'm sorry, Mr. Ray. Busy place."

"... ah, oh"

The cook who came out of the kitchen...... Ray is somewhat surprised to see Sandrine's father.

The cook in the cafeteria facing the boulevard, when a very muscular man came out... that's what I thought it wouldn't be strange for someone like Pamidor to come out.

But it was a skinny, slightly weak figure who came out.

The opposite of the person I expected when I heard they were doing a dining room in a store facing the boulevard.

To such Ray's surprise, the man smiles and opens his mouth.

"I knew you'd be surprised. They say that a lot.... Eh, I say Rodrigo, who is the cook of this golden bread pavilion"

Ray turns back to me and shakes his neck sideways to Rodrigo, who bows his head with a faint look.

"No, I'm sorry I was surprised. I know you do, but it's Ray who took on this request."

"No. I honestly never thought you'd take on a nomination request for such a fee. And there's a famous adventurer, like Mr. Ray.... I didn't feel like it originally."

"Normally, I might not have taken it on, but luckily, it's not like I had anything to do in winter."

In fact, the request fee for this nomination request is by no means high.

But... Still, Ray would have taken on this request if it had been cheaper.

Because it is to be welcomed by Ray that the food situation in the Guild will be any better than it is based in this Guild.

I don't put that on the table much, and Ray quickly gives an explanation of what dishes he will cook for Rodrigo.

"There's a dish called meatballs"

"Flesh, is it? Given that name, is it a meat-based dish?

"That's right. It's just that all I know is an overview. I did the same thing when I was in Udon, but I actually need you to work hard with the cooks I'm going to make directly..."

You're gonna be okay, right?

To Ray, who asks with a gaze yes, Rodrigo smiles a little less confident and still nods back.

"Yes, I'm not too sure, but I'll try"

"Hey, Dad. Show me you're more confident here, right? But even though your father is losing money on that look... don't worry, Mr. Ray, your father is like this, but he's a good cook."

Sandrine's, father's arm nods at the word he assures, and Ray goes on to explain it again.

"By the way, are you buying the bread we're serving here from other stores? Or homemade?

"Homemade."

"Heh."

Despite asking himself, Ray is impressed to hear that the bread in this store is homemade.

Most stores were bought from bakeries rather than from their own stores.

But this time, we're lucky.

"Then it's just fine. Meat is a type of bread called steamed bread."

"... wormbread? Maybe bugs."

"I already did that yesterday"

Ray, who blocked Sandrine's words along the way from making the same mistake Kenny makes, explains as he turns his gaze to the kitchen.

"Steamed dishes... steaming meat, steaming in that sense. Never a bug... not an insect."

"... do you steam? Bread?"

I have also done Rodrigo steaming ingredients like meat, vegetables and fish, but I guess I couldn't completely imagine steaming bread.

"That's right. That said, instead of steaming the baked bread, the bread dough...... yeah, it's easy to tell when you say steam and complete it instead of baking it?

"... steam. Um, I can't imagine."

"Unlike normally baked bread, it has a shitty texture. So, when you steam the bread, add the meat filling to the bread dough… add the meat and vegetables and steam them up together."

That's all I told you, Ray, from the place called bread dough and meat filling, can you also bake and dumplings? Think.

But now it's only steamed bread...... I don't say that when I should aim to complete the meatballs.

"Hmm. That's a little interesting. Shitty texture… I've never had it in bread"

Ray nods as Rodrigo asks intriguingly.

"Right. I just don't know how to apply my hand to bread dough compared to when I normally bake bread.... Maybe you don't have to put your hands on it, but I want you to try and make mistakes around it"

"I'll take care of it. Because I like that."

I suppose you sincerely like cooking.

For the dear Rodrigo, he turns his gaze to Ray with a rare and interesting light in his eyes.

Seeing Rodrigo like that, I guess Ray decided he could expect this too. I shall now move on to the explanation of the filling of meat.

"So, on the utensils to put in the steamed bread, this is a lot of meat filling as far as I know"

"Is it meat? Wait a minute, please."

That's what Rodrigo tells us, and we'll prepare the ingredients, starting with the meat.

Looking at it, Ray thinks about other Chinese people besides meat.

Besides meat, there are things like pizza, curry, shark fin, amun... but curry is a spice issue, shark fin doesn't know how to make shark fin in the first place, and amun doesn't know how to make filling.

The only thing I seem to be able to make is pizza, but Ray, who likes meat, has never eaten much pizza originally, and I can't think of any ingredients.

(It's about pizza, so it looks like it's got cheese and tomatoes in it... wouldn't it look watery to add tomatoes or something?

Think so, and give up explaining Pizzaman for now.

He said that if he could flesh out and hone his skills and give him his uniqueness, I could tell him that there was that kind of food.

(... oh, but if it's like a pizza, could it have been a pizza? But steaming would still have a bigger impact than baking. I'll see you at the pizza later)

While Ray was thinking about pizza mans and pizza, Rodrigo finished preparing meat and various vegetables.

"Uh, Mr. Ray. What do we do now?

"Right. First, finely mince the meat...? Or I don't know if it's a little bigger, but hang up. You should also decide how big you actually feel just fine eating around here."

"I see, I get it. The utensils are just meat?

"No... uh, you need vegetables too. Some of them say you can keep the boiled meat in, but you should make the basics first."

Stewed meat is easier than making meat fillings...... aren't dishes like pork braised in horns easier? I thought so, but still, as Ray's perception, the basics were fleshy.

I guess Rodrigo was also convinced that the basics were important. I nod like I have no particular objection.

Then cut the prepared oak meat slightly larger than the minced meat.

"Vegetables are next.... right, this and this. And mince this as well."

Rodrigo nods and minces into rays choosing mushrooms and vegetables whose leaf colour is blue but otherwise resembles cabbage, vegetables that only appear to be leeks.

Seeing the sight, Ray asks Sandrine, who looked intrigued nearby to watch her father cook.

"Not now, but you don't have a single guest today."

"Huh? Oh, yeah. Yes, Ray told me yesterday from the guild that Ray had taken care of the request, so Ray decided to teach me how to cook by the end of the day, and to open the store at night.... If I could, I'd like to serve this taught dish and see how it goes."

"Isn't that a little impossible? If I remember how to make everything right, I'm still teaching you an overview, and in fact, I need the cook to make good adjustments."

"That's right. Too bad.... but steaming bread is a great idea, isn't it? What dish is this?

"It's a lost country."

I can't say it's Japanese food, and that's what Ray says and deludes me.

(No, was Chinatown Chinese food with refreshments?... Well, I'm not lying because I'm pretty sure it was already a lost country for me either)

Sandrine tilts her neck to Ray, who was watching Ray whine.

"Really?

"Oh. From what I know, he liked to eat in cold weather just like now"

"Well, steam it, it's warm"

"... I have steamed food, so I think it's okay to have steamed bread or something."

I was steaming ingredients like meat, vegetables and fish, so why don't I steam some bread? To Ray, who asks so, Sandrine shakes her neck to the side.

"It must be a change of mind. I don't think anyone would've thought of that, would they? Maybe there's a steamed bread somewhere else... but I don't think it's the first time in the Guild for less."

"Mr. Ray, I minced it, but what do you want to do now?

To Rodrigo, who finished processing the ingredients while talking to Sandrine, Ray sees something close to the ball among the dishes nearby.

"Put it in there, season it a little thick, then squeeze it until it sticks out. Oh, do you have any bread fabric?

"Oh, I'll bring it right away, just give me a minute"

Sandrine goes to get the bread dough, and Rodrigo seasons it with seasonings starting with salt, as Ray told me, to work out the meat filling.

Looking at it, Ray twisted his head to remember the next itinerary of fleshmaking.
