Dungeon offense, day two...... the Rays cleared the ground floor without difficulty and were now upstairs in the woods.

"Rock plants, you didn't end up. I just wanted you to be in the same place if you could."

That's what you whine about, Lew.

I want to bring home to my wife Schmine a flower made of rock as a souvenir.

I guess that's what I thought.

But on the left side of the Y-shaped road, I stopped by where the rock plants were yesterday, and there was nothing there.

In other words, the species of plants made of rock, once pulled out, will be until then.

"Well, there's no such thing as fruit... and given that, it's not a strange story without rock plants"

Trees growing nearby...... Ray squeaks as he even randomly captures fruit yesterday and sees trees with little fruit left in the branches.

Still some of the fruit is still fruitful, was it something I forgot to pick yesterday, or did the fruit that was still small and didn't pick get around to eating yesterday today?

Ray didn't even know why, but I wouldn't bother picking it today, beyond the small number of fruits.

... Most of all, the Yellow flew through the sky and picked its fruit, carrying it under Ceto and eating it with the two of us, but that would be it.

"In the meantime... the question is in which direction."

Rather than being a forest made of dungeons, the Rays are naturally the first ones to come here.

In addition to this, there can be no convenience such as a consolidated path in the woods.

Instead, I was able to find some monsters and animals that I think went by.

But I don't know which direction there are more monsters in than a few of those beast paths.

Due to the size of the beast path, I can predict roughly how big animals and monsters went through...... more than not knowing what kind of monsters and animals there are in this dungeon, that's only a light guide.

So where we were headed was troubling for the Rays.

"In the meantime, why don't we just go on to those with big beast paths? The big man in this forest, or the mighty enemy, should be knocked down as soon as possible."

Strong when your body is big never means the same thing, but if you try to make it a vihela, you better be a strong opponent if you're going to fight anyway.

It was a suggestion in that sense.

A few other opinions were expressed, but in the end it was only the ones without a particular determinant such as this… eventually, following Vihella's suggestion, that we would go down the great beast path.

"Hmmm... you don't have more monsters out there than I thought"

At the feet of Vihera, who says dissatisfied, three orcs have fallen.

It will be clear from the fact that all three of them have broken their necks and are looking at the one who is not.

The orcs, who attacked for the beauty of the Vihelas, were in a one-sided ravage and were to expose their bodies less than a minute later.

Ray stores the corpse of such an oak in the mistering without any particular surprise.

Given the strength of Vihella, I didn't think I could do anything about three oaks from the beginning.

"It's a little hard to tell if you've got a dungeon."

It was Lew who groaned as he watched what was going on around him.

As in the woods on this second floor, I wonder if it has a vast space, the types of monsters that come out are not so many so far.

If this were a higher rank...... that would have been more of a struggle if monsters like Basilisk and Cocatrice appeared like Vanillas worried about yesterday.

"Gru!"

Seto squeaks sharply, as if he had reacted to the words of such a reliw.

Faces who were on the spot notice a mix of vigilance in their voices and are ready to fight immediately.

The least combative Bühne in this moved towards the back of the line, putting up a long needle for immediate cover.

So for a few seconds...... from the bushes that were inadvertently growing nearby, a giant couch shows up.

It has a smooth luster to see, and it seems vicious while it is...... that is the presence with its couch, big enough to fit easily into the mouth if it is the head of a person, eventually manifests everything in the body from across the bush.

You could call it a giant bird.

However, even birds were birds specializing in running the ground rather than flying in the sky.

(Octopus?)

That's Ray's first impression of seeing a bird monster.

In fact, the shape itself is similar to that of an ostrich, but the muscles of the foot are so developed that Ray is not comparable to those of an ostrich seen on TV or in a book, and the body is wrapped in overwhelmingly chunkier green feathers than an ostrich.

And most importantly, unlike an ostrich, it would be the point where a single horn extends from the forehead.

You'd be right to rate it exactly as a blade. That horn is definitely a vicious weapon to see.

"Grimbo!?

I see a monster like that ostrich, and a caged scream of surprise comes out of the marina's mouth.

Before I heard such a marina... I guess I already knew about the Rays' existence with signs.

That monster, called Grimbo, looks at the Rays and opens a big couch.

"Everybody, scatter! Windbraces!"

The Rays react instantly to Marina's cry, which knows what a monster called Grimbo is capable of.

Had this been a Goltz adventurer, I wouldn't have been able to react this quickly to Marina's voice either.

Huh? Huh? And I'm surprised you suddenly screamed...

"Go-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o!"

The next moment, he was eating a direct blow from a windbrace released from Grimbo's mouth.

The name windbrace, but it wasn't just the wind that released it from Grimbo's mouth.

That wind contains a large amount of what should be called the blade of the wind, and if you eat a windbrace decently, that's what your whole body would be slashed and carved into.

The wind blade itself has a sharp cutting force but its wound is not that large.

But...... what happens if there are people among the countless blades of that small wind.

That would be as if he had been slashed with countless razors all over his body.

In the case of the Rays, they immediately dodged the windbrace as directed by the marina, but how powerful it is...... that would be obvious if you looked at the countless small scratches on the trunks of the trees that were growing on the Rays' side.

"Drop your neck!

Evade the windbraces, activate Slapenil's shoes with momentum kicked to the ground, kick in the air.

Ray's hand, which shrunk between him and Grimbo due to a triangle jump procedure, was gripped by the death size taken from the mistering.

That's how it shakes, Blade of Reaper.

The death size, which is exceptionally increased in slashing taste by magic, has no resistance whatsoever... that's what cut Grimbo's neck off lightly as if he had slashed water.

As with the ostrich, it must have been a fatal misfortune for Grimbo to have had a big place to aim because of his long neck.

When a giant head falls to the ground, the windbraces that were being spit out also disappear naturally.

And because of the sharp chopping taste, there was a slight time lag before the blood erupted from the severed neck.

"There's more!

I guess Grimbo is not acting alone, but a monster acting in groups.

Ray screams as he distances himself from the blood that blows out of Grimbo's neck, which he defeats, while seeing Grimbo show up from a nearby bush looking the same as he defeated him.

To Ray's voice, the others enter the battle immediately.

The total number of Grimbos newly emerged from the bushes is three.

One of them is still childish, only about half the size of the other individual.

"Go-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o!"

Just as all but Ray's faces went into battle, so do the three Grimbos.

But if we give Grimbo time, he's also in danger of releasing the same windbraces Ray knocked down earlier.

Other faces who understand it attack at once to keep Grimbo from attacking.

The first thing that moved was Vihera.

He kicks the ground and tries to scratch Grimbo's throat with nails created by magic when he fills it with an intermission with Grimbo.

But Grimbo, who was targeted by Vihela, noticed the approaching Vihela, trying to intercept him with a cuckoo...

"Goh!?

At the next moment, Bühne's unleashed long needle pierced the eyeball, screaming… and shocked and screamed of pain at the fierce pain in the eyeball, as it were, his neck was slashed and torn by magic claws.

But unlike in Ray's case, he didn't amputate his neck, he just slashed it.

Of course it's fatal, but it's not even instant death.

Grimbo runs out of the spot trying to escape, bleeding all around him like a fountain from his neck.

"Can you still move in this state!?

I was expecting Vihera to have her neck slashed and move somewhat, but I guess it was totally unexpected that she would run away with all the illness in that situation.

Surprised by the sight of Grimbo running with blood blowing out of his neck... a whipped mirage passes too far next to such a vihella.

Mirage caught up with the running Grimbo, entangled his legs with a whipped sashimi...... and cut them off at once.

Even Grimbo, who is free to move around despite having his neck slashed and torn, naturally needs his legs to run.

With that leg gone, Grimbo hits the ground at the speed he was running and rolls around as he did.

Of the two remaining grimbos, Grimbo, supposedly a child, had blasted his head after eating a blow to the forefoot by Seto after being sealed in motion by the spiritual magic of the marina wind.

... Unlike Grimbo, which Vihella defeated, he was sealed in motion by spiritual magic, so there was nothing like running out with his head gone.

Most of all, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to have his neck slashed and his head torn off.

And the last one... Lelew used that sword move and had his neck amputated and terminated, just like he did when Ray.

Though I tried to attack Relieu, who approached me with a bragging couché, the blow was gently dodged by Relieu and his neck was amputated with the same motion.

Grimbo, whose neck was severed while in motion with a blow waving the couch, plunges to the ground with that momentum.

Blood blowing out of my neck is flashly wetting the ground, but that's not something that I'd particularly care about for Lew.

After less than a minute of battle, there is a strong blood odor all around.

"Ray's got an item box, right? Then why don't we just get out of here for once? I can smell the smell of blood, and it's not like any other monster is coming at me."

There is no one to disagree with that opinion of Lew, and Ray walks away from the spot as he promptly stores Grimbo's body in the mistering.

"Even so, that Grimbo following Yellowbird was also a bird monster. Could this dungeon... No, bird monsters dominate this forest?

"Oh, but there were three kinds: goblins, cobolts, and oaks. I think falling out of the dungeon and dying, or running into him on the first floor, means he probably lives somewhere in this forest, right?

To that word of Vihera, Ray reminds me to say so.

It was only natural that there was a nest of those monsters somewhere because they were falling out of the entrance and exit of the dungeon like every day and they were dead.

And beyond the fact that there is only one Y-shaped road on the ground floor and nothing else like it, it would be natural to think of this forest as the place where the Goblins are based.

"Like every day, I go down the stairs to the first floor, and I doubt he's dead because of that,"

"Like reconnaissance?... I don't know why, but if you find that, you should deal with it."

Dealing with this case means killing all the goblins, cobolts, and oaks in your address.

Such imitation prevents Goltz residents from collecting demonic stones, crusade proof sites, and materials from dead monsters under the cliff.

That Ray also knew, but if you put emphasis on the troublesomeness of fighting back every time the Goblins attacked you... it wasn't a gain to fight for yourself either, so to speak, those who fished for the bodies that died accidentally and made it their own gain... needless to say, it was the latter.
