What Ray and Elaine saw out of the hidden aisle was quite large... that was a large basement not strange enough to have a hundred tatami or so.
That's definitely more than ten meters, not only in size, but also in height so obviously that I don't think it's in the basement.
Not very much, but a vast space that I don't think is connected from the house where the Rays were until earlier.
Most importantly, given the time I spent walking down the hidden aisle, it was largely predictable to Ray and Elaine that something was going wrong spatially.
Either way, it was two of Ray and Elaine who went out into such a large basement, but I could say the sight that was spreading there was completely unexpected.
The first thing that came into my eyes was like a chunk of meat, around the center of a space about a hundred tatami.
No, in this case it would be more correct to describe it as a cocoon of meat, not a chunk of meat.
On the surface of that meat cocoon are like blood vessels of various colors, such as blue, green, yellow, and red, which pulse.
The oval-shaped cocoon of meat was on top of what should also be called a similar pedestal of meat present on the ground, with something like a column of meat stretching from the oval apex to the ceiling.
Perhaps the feeling held by those who saw it is that it is disgusting.
Around such a cocoon of meat were three figures.
One is Celestan, who leads an organization with connections to the Black Wolf, as the lord of the house where the Rays were until earlier.
And to the butler who serves Celestan...... the other who stays was tiger eyed for an opportunity for revenge by pretending to serve Geiska, Deotres.
Naturally, Ray didn't recognize any of those three, but he still understood who the intended person was from information he had heard from Elaine in advance.
"You're Celestan, aren't you?
"Yeah, it will. I didn't know my name was known to you with a deep red alias… it's an honor."
To Ray's words, Celestan tells him so without looking particularly upset, and gracefully salutes him.
Next to such a celestial, the deacon's man was as gracious as the Lord.
"... is that your butler? So? Who's the other one that stays?
"Guyska's men. I've seen it before."
It wasn't Celestan or Deacon or Deotres who answered Ray's words, Elaine who was beside him.
That name Geiska is not the person for Ray to be able to quickly forget either.
In the first place, it seems to be the culprit in this case.
"Then, after all, is Geiska here too? But then why was the Marquis Seysol trying to break into this house? Is this because you're trying to stop Geiska?
"Kuck, ha... haha!
Deotres, who heard Ray's words, accidentally laughs like that.
That's what Ray said when he said he didn't think what he said was so interesting.
But naturally, Ray has no idea why his words are being laughed at.
"I'd be glad to hear where the funny part of what we're talking about is."
Ray speaks to Deotres as he prepares to respond whenever the battle begins.
But Deotres didn't seem to care at all about Ray's behavior like that, and he was making a laugh around him.
Watching Deotres like that, Elaine frowns slightly.
Because the person Elaine knew was not supposed to have such a flashy laugh.
(Are you sure that man is the man I know?... In the first place, the fact that the guy is here means where is Geiska?
Yes, I'm convinced Deotres is here.
Beyond the fact that it was Geiska who hired the Black Wolf, it was only natural, in a way, for his men Deotres to be here.
But his master, Geiska, is nowhere to be found now.
"What's wrong with Gaiska? He doesn't seem to be here."
Elaine asks quietly to Deotres, who was showing a laugh to say even a mad laugh.
That voice was never loud, but I guess it was loud that Geiska's name came up. Deotres stops laughing and turns his gaze to Elaine.
Deotres' expression had a grin that I could describe as creepy, as if it wasn't strange to retreat the moment I saw her if she was a normal woman... hatred and Elaine is not a normal woman. A woman with the alias of General Princess, who has been through many battlefields.
Even if you are gazed at by Deotres, you will not retreat a single step, returning your gaze with dignity.
Deotres glances at the cocoon of meat with a delightful grin as to whether there was anything to feel in Elaine's gaze like that.
"Gaiska...... if you're Gaiska, there you go. I'll be there. Well, can't you help but hear me? It's harder for me to even speak up anymore."
Keep looking at the meat cocoon and tell him so, Deotres.
Neither Celestine nor the butler man say anything in particular to that word.
That meant that Deotres' words were correct.
Ray and Elaine, once again gazing at the meat cocoon, finally notice after a few seconds of observation.
The part that is a pupae wrinkle… try to hide there, but to have one face.
Only the face is there, which means the body is in the cocoon of the meat.
I don't think he's very, but he's safer than he is in that situation.
In fact, its face is in exactly the same condition as bones and skins, and from the sight of it, I don't think it's very much alive.
(No, being able to live in a situation like that probably means that meat cocoon keeps that person alive. And from what Deotres looks like, it's probably Guyska buried in that meat cocoon)
Ray anticipates that from his previous interactions and tries to remember Geiska's face.
But I can't easily recall Geiska's face because I saw the situation embedded in the meat cocoon.
"For once, let me ask you, is it Guyska buried in that meat cocoon...... is that okay?
Deotres nods back naturally to Ray, who asks on Elaine's behalf.
"That's right. You know what? It seems that the Marquis Seysol family worked to seal up opponents that we could not defeat ourselves if we went back in time. That's recognized by the state and made it aristocratic, and now I'm in a marquis or something. I mean..."
It was a deotrez who told her not to wear her body, but if she told me so much, Ray could understand the general situation.
"Are you saying that the cocoon of meat is also something that the ancestors of Geiska sealed?
To that word, Deotres nods... and shakes his neck sideways until he is daunted.
"Too bad. It's the same thing in the sense that it was sealed, but it seems that it wasn't the ancestors of the Marquis Seysor family that sealed this, it's another person. It's just... it's the same that it was sealed, albeit by another person. Then it's not hard to unseal the blood muscle."
Most importantly, Geiska felt like she was dying in a literal sense because she used a rather forceful method.
Deotres, who tells him so, had a delightful grin from the bottom of his heart.
That's what I keep saying when I'm not happier about this.
Based on such a deotrez appearance, Ray next turns his gaze to Celestan, who decides he won't get a lot of information from talking any further.
"So? What did you imitate like this? You're the kind of person who's putting together the world behind Anesis, aren't you? That's what we're gonna do with this anesys."
Ray doesn't know exactly what a meat cocoon is like.
But it was sealed because, naturally, it's dangerous, and imitating it like deliberately unsealing it is like a parasite killing a parasite if you ask me.
Of course, even though I am currently operating in Anesis, I don't think Ray would think that if that Anesis disappeared, the organization itself would disappear… etc.
Still, wouldn't such imitation be more detrimental to an organization led by Celestan?
(I don't know how dangerous this meat cocoon is, but from the impression we've talked about it, it feels like it's going to be a nuclear weapons treatment.)
That's only the impression Ray got, though maybe not actually.
However, as far as Deotres was concerned, I didn't think he was so wrong.
"Whatever they say... right. Is there something because you wanted to try it?
"... because you wanted to try, did you? I don't know exactly what that meat cocoon is, but it's still understandable that it's dangerous. That's why, if you do it badly, you may end up dead in the wind too."
"Oh, don't worry about that. Naturally, I wear shackles so that I don't do anything."
shackles, and. That's what Celestine said, but Ray can't believe it.
Based on previous experience, it was easy to imagine that the shackles would be lightly broken even if they were said to have shackled such an opponent.
"... I didn't come to this house to do this."
"Hmm. So for what purpose?
Celestan asks Ray's whining how interested he is.
Turning to such an opponent, Ray opens his mouth without any particular hesitation.
"I guess you were the intermediary with the Black Wolf, huh? Something about that relationship... to get evidence. But I don't need it anymore."
That's what Ray tells him as he looks at what appears to be a Geiska embedded in a meat cocoon.
If there was a matter of that meat cocoon, that was definitely what the Duke of Kelevel couldn't leave the Celestials alone.
(Honestly, I have no idea what I really thought and imitated like this. I don't know... Still, the option to leave it like this doesn't exist)
For Ray, the House of the Duke of Kelevel is different from the nobles who don't care about it.
At the same time it was Elaine's house, it was strange to say that it was rarely...... but a competent figure from Ray's point of view.
Per capita, it's never bad.... When Ray first met him, he was appropriately intimidated, or he could emit something like a noble authority.
"Well, I wonder what that means.... but I'm pretty sure I'm harmful to you. I also want to avenge the Black Wolf."
For Celestan, the Black Wolf was a commercial tool, as well as undoubtedly an irreplaceable one.
Given that the information that the black wolf was dead should have been hidden as far as possible, and that no one was watching that battle, there is no way Celestine could have known about it. I don't... I was sure Celestine knew that more than I had spoken firmly with the Black Wolf's vendetta.
(There was definitely no one at that battle place. And then... is there a guy in the Duke of Kelevel house who leaked information? Well, even at the Duke of Kelp's, he's not being offered absolute loyalty by everyone he works for)
To the best of Ray's knowledge, many who work for the Duke of Kelp were content with the matter and had made a sincere pledge of allegiance to the Duke of Kelp.
But that's only as many people as Ray knows.
"Black Wolf Vengeance, huh? … it would be helpful if you could let me know how you found out about the area."
"You think I'm gonna say that on purpose? If so, it's a lot underestimated."
"... I thought you'd say that. Shall we change the story, then? The trap of this house and the hidden passage when it comes from that room to this point. With that said, you know what I mean."
"Yeah, of course. As for the trap, the house itself has become a kind of magic item. Hidden passageways..."
So Cerestan, who stopped the words, turns his gaze to the cocoon of meat.
I haven't said anything in words, but it's obvious without thinking about what you want to say.
"Right.... So, this is my last question. Prepare such a meat cocoon... they unseal it, so what are you going to do now?
To Ray's words, which he asked, Celestan only smiled thinly, and returned nothing.
