Legend

Lunch time is over and we go into work in the afternoon for a little while.

It was incredible that it was winter now, and there was a bright sun in the sky.

Clouds are also floating, but that's not a rainy cloud that makes it snow, but a white cloud that reminds me of summer.

(It sounds like a doorway cloud... but I guess I can't do that without summer. weather conditions? or something like that)

The sight of a cloud still floating like a doorway cloud, though it was entirely knowledge of wandering, is not so bad for Ray.

I'd have trouble if it snowed, but that doesn't look like it at all right now.

... Still, winter is winter.

Even though the weather is good and the sun is letting the warm sun down in the winter, the cold is nonetheless wintery, cooling the body of those who are outside without refusal.

(Do you want to burn with magic? No, but it is. Even if that happens, only the guy nearby is warm. Besides, it could look like a fire or something from a guild's point of view)

Regarding the incineration, it shall be rejected immediately.

Alternatively, if this was a somewhat sealed space where air could be changed, I might have been able to burn it and warm it up somewhat... however much I burned it outside, I was sure it wasn't too warm.

That's how you watch Giganto Turtle dismantle.

It should be noted that the demolition of the snow monkey has already been completed in the morning and the material has been stored in the mistering.

"Ray, what are we going to do?

Watching Giganto Turtle dismantle, that's what Vihera, who was inadvertently next door, asks.

Most importantly, it wasn't the dismantling of Giganto Turtle that Vihera was looking at, though she was next door, but a monster approaching from around her.

As for Vihela, I suppose that's what you think she wants me to show up on a monster about a snow monkey. Kobolt is the majority of the monsters that come out today with hatred.

Still not so grumpy, I guess, because there was still a battle with Snow Monkeys in the morning.

"I don't care what they say. To be honest, I don't have anything to do. There seems to be no magic items hidden at the construction site."

"Oh, you're finally willing to take down the magic item theory?

"You can't do that."

Even if I say that back to Vihera's words immediately, Ray doesn't even know how to find a magic item in fact.

Still, I guess I'm bound by the magic item theory because I want such a magic item if I can, and that's what I think.

(You can gather cobolts and ask simple orders like where to go in there, so it's pretty convenient depending on how you use it. like during a bandit hunt)

One of my hobbies for Ray, the bandit hunt.

There are many uses, such as collecting cobolts and letting them enter the bandit's ego when you do it, or fleshwalls and abandoned pawns when you encounter a bunch of monsters.

(Not just the Bestian Empire, but fighting a war doesn't mean it's no longer possible.)

It was basically a ray that would ground quality over quantity, but that's why I'm not going to underestimate quantity.

Even monsters like Cobolt can be quite a convenient substitute for use.

That's why Ray wants the reason this one happened to be a magic item.

"Hmm.... well, if Ray thinks so, that's fine. But let me tell you something, don't forget the possibility of anything other than a magic item, okay?

"Oh, that's... hmm?

It was Ray who tried to return the word to Vihera, but inadvertently stops the move.

Because I realized there was someone from Gilm who came running on horses.

Now, if it was an adventurer or something riding a horse, he wouldn't have looked particularly concerned either.

Because some people will join the demolition later, just like the Vihelas until yesterday.

Most of all, naturally, they receive less money and less Giganto Turtle meat than those who worked in the morning.

Either way, Ray didn't seem particularly concerned if it was the adventurer that approached him, but that's the person in the guild's uniform...... when it comes to Lenora too, the story changes.

Lenora, Ray's in charge, comes running on a horse.

That was, obviously, an anomaly.

(Lenora, you could ride a horse. Besides, it looks like I'm pretty used to seeing that)

I think of that just a little bit, but soon Ray rolls over a little far away and calls Seto, who was enjoying sunbathing in the warm sun in the winter.

"Seto!"

It was Seto sunbathing until a moment ago, but as soon as Ray called me up, I got up and ran out.

You figured out what you want me to do with just one word of Ray, moving to the front of Ray won't stop completely, just slow it down slightly.

Does Ray also understand how Seto is doing, jumping quickly on Seto's back through before him?

"Lenora's on her way from Gilm. You go that way."

"Gru!"

Seto rings quickly and runs out toward those in Lenora.

Though there's some distance, that's Seto there.

That's about a dozen seconds to reach the side of Lenora's horse...

"Brrrrrrrrrrrr"

Naturally, the horse stops moving, scared by Seto's approaching.

If you try to be a normal horse, it's nothing but fear that an absolute strong man like Seto will come after you.

Or if you are a horse with a guild carriage, you have acted with Seto, and even if you are somewhat used to it... this was not the first horse Lenora had ever ridden, and this was also the first time she encountered Seto.

Nevertheless, if I had made it Ray, who came to ask me about the situation from Lenora, that would have been a welcome thing to do.

"Mr. Ray!

Lenora, too, knew who was coming on Ceto, so there's nothing confusing about it, she screams.

"What happened!? So, Lenora's coming in person means she had something to do with me, right?

"Yes. Then the guards contacted me..."

With that word, Ray is convinced that the anticipation of why Lenora came all the way here was met.

Because they said that if anything happened to Cobolt, they would let themselves know right through the guild.

Still, I never thought Lenora would come.

I thought they were sending people to work even if they were guild employees, or more accustomed to rough things.

... closest to Ray - there's going to be a lot of dissatisfaction coming from Kenny - although the purpose of Lenora's coming may have been to show that something was going on in plain sight.

"It's one thing about Cobolt, isn't it?

That's the only thing I know because of the call from the guards.

Still, maybe not, so I asked just in case... the next moment Lenora nods quickly.

"Yes. He said the guards who were keeping an eye on anything were attacked and injured. Fortunately, no one seems to have died, but many of them have broken their bones."

"... is that what you came for"

No way, a grand attack so far... it was also a little unexpected for Ray to attack security guards in the Guild.

If I had noticed that the base was being watched, I would have expected that there would be no more use for it.

"Yes, so the guards would rather come to the guild to let Mr. Ray know about this matter as soon as possible... glad you're here"

It was also Lenora's expectation that she would probably be here because she was asking to dismantle Giganto Turtle.

In fact, Ray used to come and go from place to place, and being here was coincidental.

The fact is, I was walking around the guilds a lot in the morning.

"Okay. Then I'll be on my way to the guard's quarters in no time. Yesterday's stuffing was fine, right?

"Yes, so I was wondering if there was a problem."

Gilm is assumed to be the size of a city for once, but it was essentially an unmistakable scale to call a quasi-city.

So there are dozens of guard stuffs in the gilm as well... maybe more.

When Lenora sees where to go to the stuffing, Ray signals Seto.

Having understood the signal, Seto leaves Lenora on the spot to head to Gilm.

"Then I'll go first!

"Yes!"

That's how we exchange words briefly...... Seto reaches the main gate of Gilm really quickly.

The guards at the front gate also knew about one of the guards being attacked and Lenora leaving to call Ray, so there was nothing to waste, as usual, and we quickly completed the process of getting into the guild.

"Please!"

Nodding at the short words from the guards, Ray descends Seto and heads to the stuffing station.

If you stayed on Ceto, you would have arrived at the stuffing so early...... if you imitated that, it could have been a noise about what happened to the inhabitants of Gilm, and there could be people out there who fall surprised by Ceto running.

Still, from what Ray and Seto are doing now, I guess those around them could understand that we are in a hurry.

I played with Seto. Many did, but they put up with each one.

Some of them tried to play with Seto without even thinking about the convenience of Ray, but fortunately such people were stopped by those around them.

... really, fortunately.

If you couldn't stop trying to talk to Seto, maybe Seto would have ignored you... because in some cases you would have heard a grumpy roar.

It's always been a loving Ceto, but it's still Ray that should be the top priority.

The person who stands in the way of that ray is naturally certified as the one who hates it for Seto.

Either way, Ray and Seto, who proceeded without anyone interrupting, eventually arrive at the guard's stuffing, which also came in the morning.

In front of the stuffing, people stand unlike usual.

For once, the look wasn't harsh, but it hasn't hidden out the tension.

A guard who was wary of things like whether someone suspicious was approaching him, but showed only a little relief the moment he saw Ray and Seto.

"Anything, the guy you were watching was attacked?

"Oh.... Fortunately, the people who attacked me were red cloth and no one got hurt that bad... the building I was allowed to use was badly damaged. Just go inside and ask me what's going on there."

Ray nods at the guard's words and leaves Seto on the spot to go into the stuffing.

(With that said, you said that the building you were using for the watch was rented in good faith. I wondered why you seem so grumpy so far, but that's why)

The guards in the blockade remain harsh because they don't have to worry about things like going out in public, unlike those outside.

"He said he was raided?

Ray already understood the situation around there, but he still asks the guards to do so in order to hear the details first.

Guards who look grumpy at Ray's words like that.

But Ray can't imitate hiding things any more than he is heavily involved in this one.

"Oh, shit, I don't know why they found out we were watching, but we had a surprise attack."

"So, the red cloth again?... Could there have been survivors of the red cloth that Granger was leading, or something like that?

"Unfortunately, we don't even know that area. I caught the majority of the red cloth that attacked me..."

"Can you check with Ray later?

To that word of the guard, Ray gets stuck in words...... eventually shakes his neck to the side.

"I'm sorry, but you should stop that. I can barely remember the faces of the redcloth guys, either. I'm still impressed with someone I've had some conversation with."

If you try to lay it on, that's the only red cloth that looks like a mass-produced chimp, its face is quite memorable.

Looking at the red fuda caught in such a situation, I can't really tell if that's the red cloth I ran into yesterday.

That's what Ray said no to because if he did poorly, he could make a fatal mistake.

Can the guards understand Ray's feelings, too, and I'm immediately convinced on the matter.

Even if the guards were in the same position as Ray, maybe they could have remembered the face of the red cloth well because it was subtle.

That's how some subtle atmosphere spread through the jar.
