Legend

2006 Story

"Yes, so these people were adults."

That's what Lenora tells me when Ray tells her what's going on.

At the time of the first carriage, a certain degree of friendship had been established between Ray and the others.

However, the people I brought in this time were not scared of Ray... but treated him with a step backwards.

Knowing that the reason for this was the interaction in the village where the problem arose, Lenora was convinced by Ningro.

"Oh. Anywhere but that village, nothing went wrong. So, what about that village?

Naturally, it's a sanction.

Kenny, who was listening next door, pinches his mouth on the topic of Ray and Lenora.

If you try Kenny, it was definitely someone you would never forgive for Kenny, just someone who cheated on the guild and was hostile to Ray on top of it.

"Look, Kenny. Calm down. First we need to find out what kind of requests that village has made to the guild... and what kind of grievances it has made to the guild. If you figure that out, like Kenny says, you might need to do something about it."

Lenora calms Kenny down.

... To be precise, I am calming down, but as a matter of course Lenora also felt anger towards the village and the village chief.

If there has been some impropriety on the part of the Alliance, it is not wrong to give some assurance about the matter.

But I couldn't forgive him for abusing it and trying to make short-circuit money.

Sometimes it's because I'm an employee of the guild, but if it's also a village where such a person is village chief more than that, it's very likely to be sanctioned by the guild.

Most importantly, when it comes to sanctions, it's not about exercising the use of force, it's about whether the village doesn't take requests from the Alliance side, or that's a hell of a reward, including sanctions - like a few pieces of white gold coins for a single goblin crusade.

In that case, it would be the villagers, not the village chiefs, who would be in trouble.

For a short-circuited, self-serving village chief, it is not acceptable to Lenora that a villager without any sin be involved in it.

"I can't tell you anything from me, because I'm sure you'll end up at the top of the guild."

Ray was naturally uncomfortable with the village chief's attitude, too, but seeing the two of them so angry that they could say they were related in this case in the sense of guild staff, somehow they couldn't do anything more angry.

In the end, we decided to leave the disposal of the village to the guild and change the subject.

"So, for now, there are nearly twenty additional additions to this, but are the additions still there?

"Huh? Oh, yes. Because I haven't decided with how many people I'm asking for. Of course, if Ray's still okay with that, we're talking."

Given one of the village chiefs out of Ray's mouth, it's no surprise Ray said he doesn't want to take on this request anymore.

Now it's in the form of a nomination request for Ray, but if Ray says he doesn't want to take on this request any more in this case, as Lenora... No, as an guild, there was no way he wouldn't accept it.

From the beginning, it was a request I asked Ray to make, saying it was quite impossible.

In the first place, if you just move around, you don't have to be Seto to normally use a carriage to go around the village and collect a bunch of wagons.

That's why even if Ray says here that he won't do this request any more, the guild that he has never noticed about the upper management of the guilds who have made the request or one of the villages in question may have trouble, but he can't say what he wants Ray to do because of it.

... In fact, in Ray's case, there are a lot of other things to do besides gather the wax.

"Uh, I don't know. It depends on how much you want to collect. You can do it for a few more people, but if you want to gather more people, that seems like it would be easier to move around with a bunch of carriages or something."

When I packed them into the seto cage and moved around, they moved fast, but I'm pretty sure the seto cages were pretty stressful.

Originally, around five people - albeit a fairly spare number of people - are only working out as punchbacks in the ceto cage where they ride, and nearly ten men with muscular bones are pushed in and moved.

Naturally, I can't relax first while I'm on the move, so I'm supposed to put in a break quite often.

However, if you are a carriage, if you prepare multiple carriages from the beginning, you do not have to feel that cramped when travelling.

Nevertheless, there is an overwhelming difference between moving in a carriage and moving in a seto cage to that speed.

"Okay. Then I will ask the person up there about it, and at the same time I will tell him as Ray's request. Tomorrow or the day after, I think the area will be clear."

"If you do, this one will help.... Well, I'm not going anymore"

"Oh, hey, Mr. Ray. Why don't you eat something light with me? I recently found a good store."

Show the words out of Kenny's mouth how Ray was strongly intrigued.

It was worth the effort to find out if Kenny, who wants to date Ray, has some good vibe and doesn't have a store that serves delicious food.

"Hey, Kenny! You're not done with your job yet!

"Oh, we're almost done for today, and then we're not free?

"That's... but even Ray has a lot of errands to run, so don't push him..."

"I wonder if it's not Lenora who decides that, Ray.... hey, Ray."

"Uh, right. Once the marina is ready for dinner..."

When the name Marina comes up, Kenny can't say anything either.

Because many of the people who work for this guild have had experience caring for the Marina of the former guild master.

... Some of them started working for the guild this spring, so those people are less involved with the marina.

"Uh, then... no?

"No, if it's not too late, it's fine. After eating with Kenny, you should head over to the marina's."

"Ray, it... no, Ray, it's you, and I suppose I should say it seems... even if it's light, can you have more dinner after you've had dinner with me?

"I can't say anything about Kenny being light because I don't know exactly how much it is, but still, I'm a pretty good eater. Maybe you'll be okay. Dinner doesn't mean you have to eat all the food that's served."

Even at times like this, Ray's mistering works great.

Normally, I would turn the excess dish around to the next day's meal, but naturally, the taste of the dish has fallen considerably compared to when I just made it.

However, if it is stored in a mysterious ring where the flow of time is stopped, it is done... No, it is not freshly done because it stores the dish after the meal, but the taste deteriorates less than it normally does.

Nevertheless, there's basically no more food than there are other eaters like Seto and Buune besides Ray.

"Hmm. Well, Ray, if that's what you say, I don't mind. Ray, it's been a while since I've had dinner with you."

"Were you? Well, take it for now... uh, what do I do? I can't believe I'm waiting here."

It is now past 4pm.

It's not that crowded yet, but in another hour, the adventurers who have finished their work will come to get their rewards and be crowded in the guild all at once.

It's only in the way that Ray is in the guild, albeit not taking much of a place, at such a time.

But in contrast to Ray like that, Kenny opens his mouth with a grin that he's okay.

"It's me today, because I'm finishing my job before I get busy.... a little while ago when my other daughter asked me to."

Hey? And yes, Kenny turns his gaze to Lenora and asks her if Lenora's had any thoughts on the current language, too, and shows her that she is unacceptable but convinced.

(I guess Lenora admits it this way is why there's no dark spot behind it)

Years after I became an adventurer.

Lenora's personality, who has been in charge of Ray since the beginning, was naturally understood by Ray as well.

So Ray, who decides there's nothing wrong with Kenny's words because of Lenora's condition, nods back.

"Okay. So, where am I supposed to be?

"Hmmm...... the place I found it is a hidden store, and I can't let Seto in for a second, so I need you to leave Seto with someone or something.... If it's true, Seto and I would have loved a place to eat together."

Kenny, too, likes the adorable Seto thing.

However, when it becomes a restaurant that can dine with Seto, who is still three meters long, it becomes limited.

This time the shop that guides Ray is a small store, not very much, but I can't eat with Seto.

To Kenny explaining the situation, Ray seems a little sorry, but convinced that it is.

Given the size of Ceto, it's an unmistakable fact that fewer stores are getting in.

Even if I went into the store using the resizing, it would certainly have been a huge disturbance if my skills had expired inside.

"Okay. Well, I'll have Seto once... right. I'll leave it at the marina's and then I'll be back. By then, is Kenny's work done today?

At first Ray thought I would leave it at the stables of the wheat pavilion at dusk, but I would decide that Seto should also leave it at a place where she could run around as she pleases, and even at a marina's house where Elaine and Arla currently live and where Seto's friend Yellow is.

Given Seto's character, he would have liked to go to dinner with Ray, but at the same time he would have liked to hang out in the garden of the Marina house with Yellow.

"Yeah, please. Ray, by the time you get back, I think I'll be done for today.... Well, let's meet up!

That sounds more like a date, and that's what Kenny tells him, hiding the word.

Ray doesn't understand Kenny's thoughts like that, and he nods back without having to think about anything in particular.

"Okay. So where are we gonna meet up?

"Um, yeah. There's a trinket shop a little further from the guild, isn't there? Look, Seto's wooden carving doll was put up for sale a while ago to become famous"

"Oh, that shop."

Ray reminds me of a store where Seto's wooden carving doll was sold when it was really spring or something.

There's nothing wrong with doing business with Ceto, as portrait rights and other things don't exist in this world as a matter of course.

Seto also had the shop owner treat him to a variety of dishes, which would be huge.

Ray doesn't look particularly concerned about it either, especially since he's not in some kind of spicy business.

So Seto wasn't particularly dissatisfied either, he made the store do whatever he wanted.

Of course, if the store imitates all sorts of problematic behavior… that is, if it imitates Ceto's hair or a cuddling business method that uses something that is actually Ceto's or nothing, it will also deal with all sorts of things.

At least not in any way so far.

On the contrary, they are selling Ceto wooden carving dolls at some low price by keeping the price down...... I guess it's a big deal because the store owner is one of Ceto enthusiasts and wants a little more people to know about Ceto.

"That. I'll meet you at that store. Is that okay?

Ray nods to Kenny, who asks that next to Lenora, who turns a slightly dazed gaze.

I guess it's not up to time to make a firm decision about where to meet, because there's no way to know the fine time.

Ray has a watch, but basically in this world, watches are pretty fancy.

... Although, since the guild receptionist is quite well paid, it's not strange to have a watch or so in some cases.

"Okay. Then I'll take Seto to the marina's for now. See you later."

"Yeah. Let's have a nice meal today."

That was the last time Ray exchanged words and left the guild.
