Legend

2012 Story

When Dryne was acting in the Guild, those who worked in the Trent Forest, starting with Ray, were acting on each one of them as to what to do now.

"Well, please. Probably not a problem, but once the monsters come raiding..."

"Yeah, we don't have a lot of people here, but I'll see what I can do."

The answer to Ray's words that way was a man who was bringing together the adventurers who worked in the Trent Forest today.

At the end of the line of sight is the carriage in which the men and women are riding.

Nevertheless, one of the horses carrying the carriage is less than it should be, as the drain has used it when heading to the guild.

Still, it was possible to tow the carriage, which is why we decided to return the caravan to Gilm, even in the sense of evacuating it from this place.

If the opponent who attacked the Green Submen were to transfer here, he or she would never be able to fight.

There were just a bunch of rough guys, many of whom had quite experienced it in the sense of fighting all over the city... what Ray is looking for is the skill of combat in the true sense. In other words, skill in the battle between life and death.

In that sense, unfortunately, they have not reached that area.

Many of the adventurers also have fallen points from the average of the guilds, and the majority of those entrusted with the escort of the pigeons are their hands.

Most of all, there are worries about when these people are not the only ones, so some veterans were not mixed up with the escorts.

The representative was the man of the adventurer talking to Ray.

"Now if you'll excuse me. As soon as I arrive in Gilm, I will ask the guards what they should do about the matter."

"Oh, do that.... Well, it could be like being held captive for a while"

Even the adventurers subtly look disgusted by Ray's words.

But there was a lot more to this matter than imitating it suddenly moving into the Trent Forest, which could have been difficult as a guild had it naturally become something else to be divulged.

In order not to do so, it is less troublesome to detain people who know the circumstances and adventurers.

… although it was necessary to do good things such as pay some remuneration even while in custody.

(Well, coming from different worlds... that's just my prediction so far. If this, in fact, has simply been transferred by any means from somewhere in this world, there is a possibility that it will not be isolated so much)

Ray himself came from another world... from Earth to this world, which is why I thought in the wind that the green sub-people might have come from another world.

In the case of those who do not know the circumstances around it and do not know the concept of a different world, it would be normal to think that they have transferred from somewhere else in this Elgin.

In fact, isn't Ray thinking too much about different worlds? And I don't think so.

I think it would be a lot easier to look at the carriage that is leaving, if that is the case.

But for whatever reason, Ray was even half convinced that the green sub-people came from outside this world.

"Well, for now, they're gone, but then what are we going to do?"

"What, after all, aren't you going to talk to those sub-people?

"Talk to me, but I don't get the word. If we can talk about it, I'm sure we can hear a lot about it."

To the words of the remaining adventurers on this occasion, Ray grunts so as he looks at the green sub-people.

Then you notice Ray's gaze like that, and the subhuman of the man you talked to Ray about earlier, you think it's also a business for you, and you come close.

"Uh... yeah. I'm sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about."

When Ray shook his head, the green sub-man shook his neck sideways, regretting his neat face.

(Again, everyone, by the time they're stunning, they're all beautifully shaped.... is that the hallmark of the species?

The first thing Ray thinks of because of the variety of beauties is the dark elves.

This is probably the biggest reason why I still know about the marina and even went to the marina's hometown and saw tons of dark elves directly in its eyes.

However, the thirty or so green sub-people who had transferred were so beautifully aligned that they could not beat such a dark elf.

Exactly. Not even the dark elves are as famous as marinas for their aesthetic shapes, but it's obvious that they all still have an average face.

(When that happens, is it possible that these people are injured because they did a slave hunt or something like that?

If it is aesthetic, naturally its value as a slave also jumps.

If that were to be a minority and a small number, its value would increase even further.

Gilm also has, naturally, an illegal slave trader.

If it meant taking these sub people to the guilds, they would also need to be vigilant about such opponents.

While I think so, I take the bread out of my thoughtful mysteries.

In the meantime, it was an act from the thought that if his belly was full, he would also be somewhat relieved of anxiety, but the sub-man who was given the bread, after taking the bread and staring at it, shook his neck to the side and put the bread back on Ray.

As always, Ray didn't know what he was talking about, but if you still saw a subhuman man pointing to a bush growing nearby, you could understand that he was trying to do something to that bush.

As Ray nodded, determined for now that he would have no problem with the status quo, the man grinned happily and approached the bush.

And when I touched the bush...... eventually, the bush suddenly stretched.

Of course, even though it stretched, it didn't stretch that fast.

But still, it definitely stretched by more than 10 cm.

"... Huh?

For a moment, Ray doesn't understand the sight that happened in front of him, and makes a loose voice between them.

The voice had many meanings.

For example, eating bread… I mean, instead of eating, I wonder why the bushes grow.

Normally, that would mean that a green subhuman man is giving some energy to the bush, which seems to be draining energy rather than eating and restoring it.

And yet, for some reason, the subhuman man was as satisfied... that was the look on his face that made him feel a little satisfied eating something when he was hungry.

Growing bushes also made no sense from Ray's point of view.

If it was an act using skills, magic, or some kind of magic item, I would still have understood, but I didn't make any particular move like that, I really just touched the grass growing out of the bush.

(No, maybe he was using some kind of skill at the time he touched the bush or something? But what the hell kind of skills? Skills that absorb life force, I know the bushes can get smudged, but this time the bushes were obviously growing)

At the end of Ray's gaze with such doubts, the sub-man nods satisfactorily and then approaches Ray again to talk to him.

Pointing to the other sub-people, that's what I've been asking.

As always, I didn't understand the words, but I still understood what I wanted to say in the trick, so I nodded.

Perhaps Ray didn't even know if it was okay to tell his own people to eat - just like he did - but he decided that's what he said.

(There's also the possibility that this subhuman diet could have a negative impact on Trent Forest... blah blah blah, this Trent Forest can't be called a normal forest in many ways)

It would not have been possible in a year or two before we could have a forest like this Trent forest.

No, not even ten or twenty years would be possible.

But this forest was completed less than a month later.

Given that, I wouldn't call this place a normal forest, though not very much.

Most importantly, because it is not a normal forest, this Trento forest tree is greatly utilized as building material for additional construction.

Ray's honest thought was that if these green subpeople used some method to affect Trent's forest ecosystem, they would be a little troubled.

Nevertheless, it was stronger to think that the thing around there was a greater person, not myself... than that was what people in positions like Dusker thought, but now it was better to have a slightly more friendly relationship with these sub-people.

"Oh."

When the green sub-people touch the bushes and trees that are around them, the faces of the sub-people give a satisfying grin, while at the same time each of them grows the bushes grass and…… and even the trees, albeit slightly.

The other adventurers who saw it all raised their voices of amazement.

In fact, such a sight is certainly surprising enough to be seen and seen.

It is surprising, but still convincing, to suck away something like plant life and be satisfied.

But it was only natural to be surprised to see the sight of dividing the life force, thereby encouraging the growth of plants and satisfying oneself while at it.

The green sub-people had some strange looks on their faces like they didn't know why they were surprised.

Maybe in a world where there were green subpeople, these kinds of meals are common, and Ray thinks they don't do things like process and eat plants like bread.

Most likely, the first sub-man Ray gave him bread didn't look particularly surprised when he saw the bread, so it's not necessarily like bread...... I think so.

When I think of it that way, Seto, who was inadvertently wary of what was going on around him, rattles his throat.

Even though some of the green sub-people show fright at Seto's sudden behavior, what Seto sees is outside the Trent Forest, and above all, there is no offensive appearance on Seto.

Ningro, like I'm happy, like that.

(Is that Master Dusker's hand? Much sooner for that though)

Deciding that he was not an enemy at all, Ray turns his gaze to Seto's watcher.

You noticed how Ray was doing, and the green sub-people look at Ray anxiously.

Naturally. I understand that if we try to be green subpeople, we've come here on our own.

Very fortunately we were able to get an ally named Ray, but given the current situation, it was natural to have all sorts of anxieties.

And if Ray, Seto, and the green sub-people looked at you, the adventurers who naturally stayed turned their gaze to you... eventually, it was with everyone's eyes that the carriage came running.

Ray, who sees the man as a guard, wonders how he should react.

If Dusker had sent knights and soldiers, he would have been honestly convinced as well.

But when you become a guard, it's possible that you've come to capture the Green Subhumans.

Nevertheless, there's no way I'm going to be violent against a guard.

No, I even wonder if it's safe in the sense that if Ning Lo guards are going to provide protection, they won't be served by strange opponents even for the green sub than they are in a bad place.

● ● ●●●●●●

Watching the approaching carriage, the sub-man, who has had many conversations with Ray before, asks Ray in a strange and somewhat anxious manner.

I still didn't know the details of what I was talking about, but I still understood what I was trying to say in the nuances.

... although Ray didn't even know how to explain what the coming guards were like.

The general willingness communication was made of gestures, but it was only general and not suitable for the detailed exchange of wills.

You want some of this? Even if I could imitate things like that, Ray didn't know how the hell to tell me that the person who was coming was Gilm's guard by gesture.

Still, to reassure them for now, show them with gestures and gestures.

Seeing Ray's attitude, the Green Subman has a slightly disturbing look on his face, while still voicing something against his people.

Ray naturally didn't understand the words, but still saw the other sub settle down, and Ray waited for the carriage to arrive exhaled in relief.
