Legend
2015 Story
As Ray was talking to the guards, he eventually heard several carriages coming to the Trent Forest again.
Nevertheless, I knew as soon as I saw how Seto was doing that he was not the enemy, so I wouldn't show any particular vigilance.
"Who do you think came?
"Normally, aren't you a knight or something?
That's what Ray replies to the guard's words.
When I first transferred, I told the adventurer to let Dusker know.
As a result, many guards came to the Trent Forest, but it was only for the time being.
It would be natural for Dusker, who heard the news of this one, to send people like knights and soldiers, as well as those in charge of negotiations.
Ray thought that those people had come... and it wasn't actually a mistake.
The newly arrived carriage is clearly a splendid one, such as that ridden by those who have the right position.
Around such carriages, knights on horseback serve as escorts.
Ray also understood that someone important had arrived.
● ● ● ● ● ●●●●
You must have been anxious about how those carriages and knights looked.
A green sub-man, who had spoken to Ray many times, utters words as he approaches Ray's side, looking toward the carriage.
I was surprised that the guard, who had first heard the Green Subman's words, could not understand its contents, but Ray showed in his attitude to calm down the Green Subman, without having the appearance of placing himself in such a guard.
Nevertheless, I was going to make a lot more trial and error than I knew what kind of behavior to use to indicate calm down.
(With a magic item, can't you make it have the effect of an interpreter or something? Or, I need these sub-people to understand these words as soon as possible... but they're not so easy to remember.)
When I was in Japan, I was Ray, who had years of experience studying English in middle school and high school, but that's why I can't speak English fluently, and if you ask me if I can write or read... about a little below the average of students in rural high schools, I'm honest.
So even if Ray remembers a different word, he would instantly shake his head sideways if asked if he could remember it right away.
(If that's the case, thank you to Zepile for allowing me to understand words and all that when I came to this world)
With that in mind, the carriages and cavalry eventually arrive while they calm down the green sub-man several times.
There were many knights on horses who also looked familiar to Ray.
There was nothing over there that would change my attitude especially when I saw Ray, but I still glanced slightly with my eyes.
That gaze has intimacy in it, and at the same time it comes up with colors like, did you do something again?
It was Ray who tried to say something to such a knight, but before that, the carriage door opens and several men and women show up.
(Heh. I thought it was exactly one person, did you send many? Besides, when you have sex with a man and a woman, Master Dusker pays a lot of attention to this case. Well, it's a little hard to tell if it's a woman or not)
From what Ray has seen, the green subs, men and women alike, are all in good standing.
But women and thinkers - anticipating from the shape of the clothes they are wearing - are all small breasts.
My breasts were small enough to deserve to be hailed as the Great Plains, not as milk.
... Although it has a rich double hill with all the women around Ray, it may feel especially so.
Naturally, though, Ray won't put it in his mouth.
Because the words don't make sense, but they could still detect the area by a woman's inquiry.
"Are you Ray? You're the one who likes the commotion you make."
The man who came out of the carriage...... a gentle looking man in his thirties or so, calls out to Ray.
From what I saw, Ray also understood that this person was responsible for something like this one.
"You can't deny that. He said there was something about that eyeball, something about this one."
Even when I was in Anesis, Ray is naturally caught up in the commotion, but when I say it, I won't say it because it seemed to fit further into the dots.
"Ha. Nevertheless, because of that, I met an unknown friend, so much so that I'd like to thank you. Oh, with that said, you haven't introduced yourself yet. I am Gullamel. I was entrusted with negotiating with them...... but what about the Lizardman over there? And there seems to be more subhumans than I ever heard."
To Gullamel's words, Ray reckons that if he says so...
He said he hadn't informed Gilm about the additional metastases yet.
In fact, it's honest that it hasn't been that far since Lizardman and the additional green subpeople moved in.
"I've been sending you a call, and then I've been transferring extra."
"Is Lizardman... what kind of people are they?
"I think you belong to some kind of group because you have all the gear. It's just that we were attacking those green sub-people, so we disarmed them in the sense of preventing them for now."
"... Really?"
In things like trouble, Gullamel squeaks.
If you try to make it Gullamel in charge of the negotiations, you would naturally have that look on your face because you were suddenly disarming the negotiators.
Nevertheless, Ray has never acted wrong in the sense of protecting you because he was attacking the green subpeople he regarded as the first negotiators.
Nor can I blame Ray for protecting the green sub-people, as it is true that a calm opponent is better to negotiate.
Still, I suppose I belong to some sort of group if I could... That was also an honest thought that I didn't want you to imitate me to disarm the monster Lizardman.
(In the first place, it's not uncommon for monsters to create some population, but those Lizardmans are clearly beyond the bounds of common sense. I can't believe everyone has the same protective gear)
It is well known, for example, that goblins and oaks may be led by superior species to create some settlement.
That's what it's been like to raid an oak settlement when it hasn't been that long since Ray came to Gilm.
But that's only on such a scale as a settlement.
Less often, weapons strike adventurers, merchants, etc. to get them, or break branches of trees and turn them into sticks.
Even so, the disarmed Lizardmen at the end of Gullamel's gaze are clearly wearing protective gear that suits their body, which is the same design.
That was a testament to the high skill... and that was clearly more skilled than monsters like Goblins and Oaks who make settlements.
(No, first...)
I'm also concerned about Lizardman, but first I walk out toward a bunch of green subpeople, trying to fulfill the first purpose of coming here more than that.
But there was clearly a color of vigilance in the gaze of a group of green subpeople looking at Gullamel.
Gullamel, who saw it, stopped his legs and gestured not to go any further to the other negotiators who were walking with him towards the Green Submen.
"Ray, can you tell them we're not in danger? Apparently, you're on guard."
"Uh, give me a minute.... How the hell am I supposed to show these guys there's no danger?
While perplexed, for now Ray walks out in front of the Gullamels and approaches the Green Submen.
I guess that's how reassuring Ray looks that he's approaching, because that's all the green subhumans are allowing their minds against Ray.
Most importantly, it was natural.
The stranger we've been transferring, and we can't even speak.
Because despite that situation, he used potions to heal his people's injuries.
Not only that, but we also showed the power not to make the Lizardmans who attacked us a problem, so it would be more impossible not to rely on such a ray.
"In the meantime, relax. Those people are not going to harm you. I just want to talk."
With that said, I understand the words don't make sense, so I tell each one of them with a gesture.
However, if it is easy to communicate, you can gesture by hand, but it was still impossible to gesture by hand the detailed story.
● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●
"Uh... Gullamel, come here for a second"
Eventually, he decides that it is not obvious, and Ray puts out his hand and calls Gullamel as if he had waited once for the green sub-man talking to him.
Gullamel, who was called, gets closer because he was called by Ray, who was the only one over there who could communicate with him - gesture, hand gesture - while wondering if he really could go in this situation.
The others who came with Gullamel looked at Gullamel with some apprehension, but the person seen had more nerve than appearance, and once he decided to do so, he approached Ray and the green sub-people without hesitation.
"What's up?
"I need you to grow up a little."
Returning that to Güramel, who asks, Güramel manages to show by gesture that he is safe... and by calling Güramel's name, he decides first whether he should know the names of the green sub-people, pointing to himself.
"Ray."
Then, pointing to Gullamel, he mouths' Gullamel 'as he tells the green sub-man.
After repeating that several times, I guess the other side finally understood what Ray was trying to say.
Point to Ray...
"Ray."
Yes, mouth it.
The pronunciation itself was somewhat awkward because it was different from the language used by the subpeople, but it still seems to Ray that the green sub man called Ray's name, like a lot of progress.
Next, the green sub-man points to Gullamel...
"Güümmel"
"... no well, yeah. Is Gullamel less pronounced than my name?"
"Ah, haha. Well, maybe it's a hard name to pronounce if you try it on him."
I was a gulamel laughing like trouble, but I don't see any unpleasant colors in that look.
In fact, it was also huge that I was used to it in a way because sometimes when I called my name I was misinformed.
Whatever it is, the sub-man who realizes he has said it wrong points again to Gullamel...
"Gyu... Gyu, Gyu... Gyu Lamial... Gyu La, Mel?
While I made several mistakes and still was eventually getting a little interrupted, I succeeded in mouthing Gullamel's name.
And once you say it, you're used to it, repeat the name Gullamel in your mouth a few times... eventually you're satisfied, now you open your mouth as you point at yourself.
"Lololnora"
Lorolnora.
What a strange sound, but I guess that's the name of the green sub-man, Ray and Gullamel understand.
"Lololnora?...... yeah, nice to meet you"
I said that, Ray offering my hand, but I looked at Ray with a strange look, as if he didn't know why Ray did such an imitation.
"Hmm? Um... oh, I see"
The act of shaking hands normally existed in this world, but if Lorolnora and the others came from different worlds as Ray expected, then naturally there could be no act of shaking hands in that world.
If so, it would be natural even if Ray suddenly got his hands on it or didn't understand what it meant.
No, I wasn't surprised because Ning Lo Ray didn't have any particular kind of weapon and remained bare, but maybe the act of shaking hands could have been considered hostile.
"What's up?
Unlike Ray, he doesn't come from another world, but somewhere else... just wondering if that's what he's been transferring from an undisclosed land, Gullamel turns a strange glance at Ray, not expecting Lorenola not to know the act of shaking hands.
"No, maybe, but I don't think these people know the act of shaking hands"
"Huh? No, but..."
Gullamel like I can't understand Ray's words.
The act of shaking hands usually exists in this world, so I guess I couldn't understand Ray's words... and Lorolnora's inability to understand shaking hands.
Nevertheless, there was no doubt that Ray, too, would not believe what the other world had said here.
That's why, for now, I open my mouth.
"For one thing, we should understand each other."
Gullamel nodded bewildered by the words that came out of Ray's mouth.
