Fairy.

That's one of the familiar things about Ray.

Before I moved to Elgin, I used to enjoy comics, cartoons, novels, games, etc. when I was in Japan, which often came up on the subject of fantasy.

Nevertheless, it's not the first time Ray has met a fairy in this Elgin, either.

Ray has seen fairies in a place where the Kingdom of Mireana and the Imperial Army of Bestia have bumped into each other more than once before when he was on his way to the Bestian Empire for a fighting tournament in Vihera and the ensuing civil unrest.

No, I didn't just see a fairy, it was a fairy prank - but it was a big prank - by which I saw something like a table made of skeleton bones... and I was caught up in it with Theorem and Elk.

From one incident at that time, as Ray, I didn't really have a good impression of the fairy... but still, if he came out of the underground space where Whisper was, and all of a sudden the fairy appeared there, I couldn't have told him not to be blinded by it.

"Huh? Fairy?

"Hey, why!?

Did you hear Ray whining like that, the fairy stops moving like surprised to see the Rays... and instantly escapes the spot.

There was no such thing as chasing a fairy to escape because it was such a sudden development even as Ray, I just had to drop him off.

It was Anastasia's words I heard from behind that made Ray return to me like that.

"Hey, Ray! That's a fairy, isn't it? Why are you here?

He was an anastasia who uttered a surprise, but by then he had already lost sight of the fairy.

"Ray, is there a fairy in this Trent forest!?

He was Anastasia asking Ray like he panicked, but Ray dares to open his mouth slowly so as to calm such excitement.

"Look, calm down. This is the first day I've ever known that I have a fairy in this Trent forest, too.... There's been a fairy for a long time and we didn't notice, or a fairy came to this Trent forest while we were going to the other world... I don't even know that area."

I didn't say that to calm Anastasia down, and Ray didn't actually know there was a fairy in this Trent forest.

... but unlike Anastasia, who is happy to see the fairy with its eyes, Ray doesn't look that happy,

Even in Japan, where Ray used to be, there are various legends about fairies, and Ray often dealt with fairies in a variety of comics, novels, cartoons, and games.

One of the hallmarks of such a fairy is that she likes pranks.

In fact, the fairy Ray encountered on the Seremouth Plains was enough to seem a little understated by the expression prank.

And more than the fairies are in this Trent forest, such as the pigeons, adventurers, and the Lizardmans around the lake can feed on pranks.

If that prank is truly adorable, then Ray has nothing to worry about that much either.... but if it's just something cute.

"I ask you again, Ray's never seen a fairy before, has he?

"Oh.... no, you're not. I've never seen it before in this Trent forest, but I've encountered it before in the Seremouth Plains"

"Seremus Plains?

To the name, Anastasia frowns slightly.

He said it was the place where the kingdom of Mireana and the Bestian Empire had bumped into each other more than once.

So I guess I don't have good thoughts about a place for Anastasia called the Seremus Plains.

"Oh, when I was on my way to the Bestian Empire."

Tell him so, and tell him only what you have previously experienced on the Seremouth Plains, where you can talk.

With that word, Vihera also floats a convincing appearance.

At that time, Vihera was also on the Seremouth Plains, but only three of them actually encountered fairies: Ray, Theorem and Elk.

Since Vihera had heard the story too, she probably knew about the fairy's existence, but there is still a huge difference in this case as to whether we have actually met.

"It's... when it does, maybe the fairies are interested in the undead, or something? Or the smell of blood or rot... a little different from the fairy image though"

Ray and Vihera react only for a moment when the word undead comes out of Anastasia's mouth.

I didn't think they'd find out about Grimm, but still, maybe... really, because I thought that maybe I'd gotten to Grimm from some little clue.

In fact, that was not the case, although Anastasia merely uttered the question that was in her.

(Nevertheless, it could go in a strange direction if it stays this way. Quickly from this place......)

When I thought so, Seto and two deer appeared out of nowhere.

Ray can also understand who did it.... or that Grimm was the only one around here who could do that was Ray's prediction.

"Look, Seto and the deer are out"

Anyway, that's what Ray tells me, trying to divert a little attention from the Grimm thing.

In the words of Ray like that, I guess Anastasia and Fana both noticed the presence of their lovely deer. Pause your thoughts and stroke the deer.

(With that said, I've never cared about it before, but in the end the deer could have come to this world with absolutely nothing wrong)

Ray wasn't aware of the two deer at all because he was thinking about fairies and things like stripping Dragonias' body in the other world and using it as a material.

Nevertheless, it was a little doubtful for Ray that Grimm didn't realize that, regardless of what he didn't realize about it.

Or did you decide that there was nothing wrong with it because it was a deer, whether you noticed it or the corners were somewhat splendid?

(It's about Grimm, so it's not surprising that before I knew it, I was actually looking into deer or anything like that)

For Ray, the perception is that Grimm is close to his grandfather in this world… but also that he is an amazing wizard and researcher.

Because it's such a grimm, it's not surprising that Ray was looking into deer by any means before he realized it.

(I really don't think this deer is a normal deer.)

A deer stroked by Anastasia and Fana, respectively, does not seem like a normal deer even in the sense that the horns are large.

No, actually, it's not weird to have a deer the size of a horn like the deer here.

But whatever the appearance problem is, it's obviously normal in terms of high intelligence... not like the deer Ray knows.

Nevertheless, the deer Ray knows is only the deer I saw when I was in Japan.

Sometimes there was Ray's house just on the side of the mountain, or that mountain was Ray's playground, and it was not uncommon to see deer, though in the distance.

On the contrary, I had seen whitened deer when strolling in the mountains were eaten and killed by bear-like carnivores, or died in some kind of accident or illness.

"Well, we're back in this world for now, shall we head to the Guild?"

Forget about the deer for now, and Ray tells that to Vihera, Anastasia and Fana.

In fact, when it comes to Dusker, who would be worried about Anastasia and Fana, I'm pretty sure you should go to Gilm a little sooner.

We also need to keep you informed about the fairy.

"Really?... yeah, right. I just wanted to do a little more research around here if I could."

"If you're going to look around here, that's what you get. Anastasia originally studied Whisp. Plus, they're here now."

That said, it was two deer that Ray turned his gaze on.

I miss Anastasia and Fana more than... such a deer, as if I were under oath of allegiance.

Even where Dragonias was, he was running Anastasia and Fana on his back, so running through these woods shouldn't have been a difficult story.

... although it seemed a little difficult to move that splendid corner away from hooking up to the tree.

(Though, there's also the matter of the Centaur world, so it's subtle if Master Dusker will let Anastasia continue his research on Whisp)

For Dusker, Anastasia is a benefactor.

That's when you give Ray a bag with plenty of jewels to fund the search for the Anastasians in the other world, on the condition that the jewels you don't have too many can belong to Ray.

... In the end, I hardly used the jewel, so I've treated it almost entirely as Ray's reward.

All in all, that's all I owe Anastasia, Dusker, but whether or not Dusker snorts would be subtle, even if he asks me if I could do Whisp research in an underground space that remains connected to another world.

However, it is also true that there are no other competent persons to do Whisp research.

Different beings from different worlds… That is why we cannot tell the situation to a diverse opponent only to whispers with the ability to transfer the lake itself as well.

Not to mention that we are now free to enter and leave the other world - only with the power of the Grimm - but we are even able to do so.

In a sense, Whisp is undoubtedly more important than before.

In a way, it seems to be close to a bomb.

"Right. We need to make sure we talk about that area... too bad, shall we go? With this kid, you can always come back here again."

Saying so, Anastasia strokes the deer and then rides its back.

Fana rides her own deer, as follows such anastasia.

"Right. After all, it's up to Dusker to decide what to do."

Whatever Ray thinks here, it's Dusker who decides that in the end.

More than that, it would be half pointless for Ray to think here.

That's why I think about throwing a round at Dusker for anything to do with Anastasia, and Ray gets on Seto's back too.

After making sure Vihera got behind herself, Ray calls out as she strokes Seto's neck.

"All right, Seto. Just go. I want to see what's going on with them, so go through there."

"Gru!"

Seto replies to Ray's words and starts running straight through the woods.

The two deer with Anastasia and Fana on board follow after a short distance from such a ceto.

... I guess it doesn't mean I'm mostly used to Seto more than before, but still completely used to it.

(The horse is scared of Seto at first, but after so much time, I can get used to it. Is that the difference between a horse and a wild deer taught by a man?

Think as you look at the deer carrying the Anastasias... Eventually there were several familiar places in the woods.

It was a sign that the places where the trees were being felled were approaching, but the felling of trees was not progressing any further than Ray had expected.

Although Ray could have predicted that that was probably because he wasn't there.

Carriage of felled trees really takes longer than no rays with mysteries.

Given that the presence of Ray and Seto had considerably shortened their time in other jobs, this transport of trees would be the job that would require the most power of Ray.

No matter how many trees they cut in these woods, if it takes longer to carry them, the felling of these woods will not proceed.

No, they might be able to keep cutting trees... but if you tell me, it's the only truth.

Even if you leave a felled tree in a part of the forest, given the weight of that tree, it's definitely a struggle to just carry it.

With that in mind, going through the woods...

"Whoa!

Suddenly several adventurers show up and look at the Rays and raise their voices of surprise.

... so it would be an adventurous manoeuvre to set up the weapon he had aggressively.

"... what, the Rays? Don't be surprised. I thought something was up again."

As the adventurer with the dagger relieved looking at Ray as he lowered that cut...... while he was at it, he mouths his dissatisfaction.

The adventurers were not alone, but the other adventurers were equally aggressive in laying down their weapons.
