"Mmm... night..."

I woke up. Ray squeaks so when he makes sure it's dark in the room.

Although, when Ray got out of bed, the lights lit up inside the room to see if he worked on some kind of sensor.

Under such artificial lights, Ray checks how his body is doing.

The way it is, I don't have any way of falling asleep as usual.

Ray never slept well as usual, but not badly because he was planning to defeat the monster in the Devil's Forest tonight.

That's why I leave the room when I quickly check my personal status.

The hallway was naturally dark, but as bright as the bedroom was when Ray left the room.

Walking down such a corridor, Ray eventually arrives in a room with a magic formation...... a room where Seto is resting.

"Gru!"

You found Ray like that, Seto immediately approached Ray.

As far as Ray could tell, Seto would have been awake again a while ago.

Originally, Seto would have the ability to stay up all night for a few days without any problems at all.

Still sleeping, I guess, simply because Seto likes to sleep.

Most of all, I slept with a creepy tentacle that grew a monster's face in the battle against a tree that I defeated during the day… it also had the purpose of healing the mental fatigue of fighting nearly a hundred bottles.

If you try Ceto, it's not the first thing that makes you mentally tired to that extent.

Still, if I tried Ray, it's also true that I had to make that decision that I should let him rest when I think of Seto.

And after seeing Seto for the first time in a few hours, it actually seemed like Seto was feeling better than before he took a break.

"Apparently, you got a good break. Then why don't we have a light meal and then head outside?... The Demon Forest of the Night. That's what makes you more careful than you know what kind of monster you have."

"Grrrrrrrr"

Hearing Ray's words, Seto also rattles his throat to get himself in the mood.

Even for Seto, I guess the Demon Forest of the Night means that's where you need to be so careful.

Most importantly, that means that there are so many strong monsters to be aware of, which at the same time means you can get demonic stones from unknown monsters.

In that sense, the forest at night is never a bad place.

The only reason I can judge you that way is because you have the strength to survive even in the Devil's Forest, like Ray and Seto.

As such, Ray and Seto go out of the juncture when they eat light meals with dishes served out of mystering.

"This is, again... I knew it, but it's not like much daylight"

"Gru."

Ray squeaks as he looks around the safe house.

Then Seto rattles his throat, as he agrees with Ray's words like that.

Seto would also have looked forward to acting in the Devil's Forest on such a night.

(Though, in Seto's case, you can always come back to the Devil's Forest)

The night was basically Seto sleeping at the marina's house, but it is possible for Seto to fly out of the gilm at night and come to the Devil's Forest if he cares about it.

When we went on the ground, two nights - one of them to adjust the time - were the place to arrive, but it wouldn't take long to get around if it was a flying ceto.... but only if we can get there safely without getting lost.

(Yeah, right. Maybe if I slept at night, it wouldn't be strange if all of a sudden an announcement message of skill acquisition came through)

Given the future, there are such predictions in Ray.

For once, I guess I need to tell you to stay away from the Devil's Forest when you don't have to, but in Seto's case, you only needed to be careful as much as you could normally travel to the Devil's Forest.

"All right, you want to walk a little away from the safe house first, and walk appropriately? I'm going to have to leave the Devil's Forest tomorrow, so you just want to fight a little more monsters.... Ah, but before that. Should I go where I knocked that tree down? It's been a while since we defeated him, and there could be some change."

If it had been during the day when I had knocked down a tree, I would not have come up with such a thing out of mental fatigue.

Or I should have thought about stopping it, more than just mentally tired even if I thought of it.

However, mental fatigue is largely healed by having slept well and eaten delicious dishes.

Of course, I didn't completely recover from mental fatigue, but I was nevertheless fine to the extent that I had no problem heading to where I knocked down the tree now.

"Grrrrrrrr"

To Ray's words, Seto rings his throat as if he has no objection again.

Not just Ray, but Seto must have recovered mentally from a slow rest.

That's how Ray and Seto were going through the woods...

"Grrrrrrrrrr!"

Seto uses his skills while he is running.

There are about five ice arrows released.

Ice arrows can produce up to fifty at level five, but they don't always have to produce a maximum number.

A maximum of fifty means that it can produce an arrow of ice without any problems, whether it be one or twenty.

Naturally, if you increase the number of ice arrows, you will only increase them - still slightly - but it will take time, but it is possible to produce them instantly for about a few.

Now, since the power of the ice arrow belongs to level five, Ice Arrow, which has reached level five, is definitely a very easy skill for Seto to use.

The arrows of ice thus unleashed go straight through the forest at night...

"Gru?"

Seto, who unleashed an arrow of ice, rings his throat in doubt after a few seconds.

"What's up? Didn't you defeat the enemy?

I'm curious about Seto's condition and Ray asks, but Seto tilts his neck like he's having trouble with Ray's words like that.

"You let him get away with it?

"Gugluru"

To Ray's words, Seto shakes his neck sideways if that's not the case.

Ray questions how Seto looks like that.

Ask him if he has defeated the enemy, and he tilts his neck.

Ask him if he let him get away with it, and he immediately denies it.

I didn't knock him down, I didn't let him get away with it.

Because... and Ray opens his mouth again.

"I haven't been able to knock you down, but I'm letting you scratch me and shooting you through a tree with an ice arrow to stop you from moving?

I'll take it between the two questions and ask, but Seto still just tilts his neck.

(What's happening?

I was curious to see how Seto was doing, Ray looks for the ice arrow that was released earlier.

Ray doesn't know what Seto is acting like he doesn't get guidelines for.

If so, I thought if I looked for the ice arrow that Seto had unleashed, there would be an answer there.

But...... all five ice arrows were stuck or pierced into several tree trunks, but there is no such thing as some kind of monster blood attached to every arrow.

That meant that the ice arrows were unlikely to have hit the enemy.

(Ghost? No, but the ice arrow is a skill, so it entails magic. For example, it should do a lot for undead like ghosts)

Above all, if Seto defeated the Ghost class, he'd know he did.

But Seto doesn't seem to have defeated his enemies.

I mean, I didn't even defeat the Ghost system.

"You don't get it. I don't know, but I understand there's nothing around. Then you can't care less, and let's head to where the trees were."

"Grrrrrrrrrr, grrrrrrr"

To Ray's words, Seto didn't look entirely convinced, but still decided there was no point in looking here any more, it was an disapproval, but he nodded to Ray's words.

Ray and Seto thus proceed through the forest at night, feeling a subtle and unconvincing aftertaste.

I'd like to figure out the mystery if I were you, but this is the Devil's Forest.

Even if that's one or two things Ray and Seto don't understand, it's not strange.

No, if you think of it as a forest of Ninglo demons, it would be natural to have such a mystery.

Other than that, the night is limited.

Although Ray is thus active now, he is not looking for monsters in the Devil's Forest until the morning.

Such an imitation would result in things like moving through the Devil's Forest tomorrow due to lack of sleep, or continuing to sleep until Ray's body is satisfied.

The former is out of the question.

It's impossible to act in places like the Devil's Forest, but not because of lack of sleep.

I definitely wanted to avoid imitations that deliberately endangered my life, even as Ray.

Then the latter, but sleeping and soothing while coming to the Forest of the Horn Demon, is not beastly enough.

For that reason, after all, it's best for Ray to leave it for a few hours to explore the night forest.

That's why I don't have time for anything that doesn't make sense.

That's how I go through the Devil's Forest, and I find some monsters along the way, but I see Ray and Seto. No, I run away immediately.

"That's crazy. Even though the monsters I encountered during the day basically didn't do anything like run away. At night, does that change the area?... Well, I don't know. But I don't."

Night is when a monster moves vigorously.

When that happens, naturally, high-ranking monsters also often move around in the woods, and if you try to make them weak monsters, they are only bait for such beings.

That's why you run away instantly when you think you have no winning eye.

(But there were high-ranking monsters during the day, so you can't do it. I mean, it's weird that you don't run into high ranking monsters in the first place)

Ray wonders as he sees what's going on around him.

Nevertheless, the same is true of one of Seto's ice arrows earlier, but there is no room that seems to be solving that because I have doubts.

If so, you should first prioritize looking for high-ranking monsters that won't run away from watching Seto.

That's what I thought...

"Something's happening. I remember."

Ray doesn't like the way he goes through the woods and gets quiet as he approaches where he fought the trees... it really squeals from the bottom of his mind anymore.

Naturally. This situation means that there are some powerful monsters in the wooded square.

Not to mention that the night forest is supposed to be pretty loud with the sound of bugs, beasts, birds and monsters standing.

Nonetheless, it was easy for Ray to imagine what that meant because he would take him closer to the square and quieter.

(I mean, I don't know if it's the same as a tree... but is there a guy in that square who can do something that keeps insects, animals and monsters away just because of the signs at least like this? It's an unexpected development, but still not as bad as I am)

Originally, I wanted to defeat at at least one more Rank A monster… many more if possible, and also the Rank S monster.

In that sense, the presence of monsters of the same rank or higher in the square as trees is not a bad story.

(Well, I hope it's not a monster of its kind, even about the same level as that tree)

Spookiness or overwhelming regenerative ability to kill a monster and crush its head.

The tree's fighting power itself wasn't that strong, but it was definitely still a tough opponent to fight.

I knocked it down so hard when I knocked it down at noon, but when I went out into the square and it was like that giant tree growing again, that wouldn't be a little bit stylish.

At the very least, even with that tree, he just got knocked down at noon, so Ray would naturally want it to still be a young tree.

"Seto, what do you think? Do you want to stop heading straight to the square? Nothing, I don't have to fight that tree.... When I think about Warcraft, I want to take it down."

So far, there is naturally only one demonic stone, more than just one tree defeated during the day.

Rather than being a Rank A monster, I would naturally want two of those demonic stones if I could.

"Grrrrrrrr"

Seto rings his throat at at Ray's words.

That's what he said, trying to get to the square.

"Okay. Then will you?... Let's go."

That's how Ray and Seto keep going and eventually arrive at the square.

But no tree existed anywhere in the square... instead, there was one figure.
