When Felix came out of his meditation, he did not notice how long it took him to consume and absorb the Commander Pills in his energy core.

He only noticed how his energy core expanded and allowed to store a huge amount of energy, unlike before.

He could also feel that his energy core reached its capacity to store energy.

In other words, he was at the peak of the Commander rank!

However, he could not yet reach the Lord’s rank unless his beasts reached the peak of the Rare rank.

At the same time, he had to find an opportunity, similar to Sky Marshal Kaelor’s ascension to the King’s rank because of the dark red storm clouds.

The dark red storm cloud still formed on the horizon, but it was not targeting them anymore.

It really seemed to be avoiding Sky Marshal Kaelor.

As Felix opened his eyes, he felt invigorated.

He stood up and stretched his limbs.

Judging from its stiffness, I must have meditated for more than a day. My family might be worried about me.

Felix decided to return to the plane now.

He turned towards Krisha, who was practicing the sword with all extreme seriousness.

Felix was amused. Her dedication was much better than before.

I wonder if it was triggered by my successive breakthroughs to minor rank.

Felix couldn’t help but smile.

However, he didn’t notice that while he was wondering, Krisha was already staring at him.

"What are you smiling around for?"

Krisha rolled her eyes and finally stopped.

She was already frustrated that she couldn’t manifest her Sword Intent, and seeing Felix’s smile only fueled her vexation.

Felix raised his hands and said innocently, "I was just happy that you deserved to be my rival. You don’t slack off."

Krisha was caught off guard.

But then she immediately composed herself and snorted. "You are still way ahead of me."

"That’s what the present tells you. Who knows? In the future, you’ll surpass me."

This time, Krisha was convinced.

Staring at his innocent expression, as much as she wanted to be frustrated with him, she couldn’t bring herself to do so and finally decided to change the topic.

She asked, "Continue?"

Felix shook his head.

"Let’s return. My family might get worried for me."

Krisha nodded.

She then followed Felix while not recalling her beasts to her beast space, wanting them to get exposed and familiar with their new world.

At the same time, she couldn’t help but think of her mother.

I wonder if this is the same world that Mom entered?

She wore a complex expression.

She swore last time that she would search for her mother’s remains, whether dead or alive.

She wanted to find her whereabouts. She wanted to conquer that damn world she entered to close the space rift.

But now that she finally entered one of the space rifts, her desire seemed to be non-existent.

Ever since they entered the new world, she couldn’t stop thinking about her mother.

She had already asked Master Shen before about the creation of Aura and whether her mother learned it.

Since Master Shen confirmed it, there was a high chance that she might still be wandering in this world.

Just thinking of the possibility of reuniting with her mother, whether dead or alive, made it difficult to process what she truly felt about it.

She was not aware that she was so lost in thought that Felix noticed it.

He inwardly sighed.

He had an idea or two of what she was thinking every time she wore a complex expression.

It was as if something was deeply troubling her.

Felix didn’t initiate a conversation about it. Just from her complex expression, it was obvious that she was still processing her emotions.

Of course, he had already decided to search for her mother.

He was also dying to meet with her.

Dead or alive...

...

When Felix returned, Sarah immediately rushed and inspected him.

Despite the assurance given by Master Shen every six hours, every second was a torture for her.

Outside of the plan was dangerous!

As much as she wanted to scold her son, when she saw how happy she was to share the news of reaching the peak of the Commander rank, she couldn’t bear to do so.

Furthermore, the people around her praised Felix’s achievements, and she couldn’t help but feel proud of her son.

After feeling assured by her son’s condition, she led him to their passenger seat.

Most of the beast tamers had already given the Hill Family a space to sleep.

Unlike them, the Hill Family had two Awakened Beast Tamers and an unawakened. They pretty much lived like ordinary people.

So their body could not endure as they could.

Although some silently protested, those people did not witness how Felix fought.

They were unconvinced by the beast tamers who shared how terrifying Felix and his bow were.

Nevertheless, given that many people agreed and looking at how pitiful Felix’s family was, they gave more passengers a seat for them.

At the moment, Mia was already sleeping comfortably on her father’s lap.

Felix smiled at her and asked his father, "Don’t you feel stiff in that position for hours, father?"

"It’s nothing, Son," said Noah. "Come and have a seat."

Felix nodded. He slowly lifted Mia’s legs, and once he sat, he put her legs above her lap.

Felix scrutinized Mia’s position first and, knowing that it wasn’t uncomfortable, he relaxed.

He then asked, "How is your connection with Oxley?"

Noah sighed. "It’s cut off. I wonder how they are doing now. I hope they don’t get stressed out."

Felix nodded.

Felix’s parents didn’t bring their beasts on the trip to Clark City.

They were afraid that they might not feel well during their flight.

Even Doctor Eleanor suggested otherwise.

Although Sarah and Noah were unwilling at first, they decided to bring their beast to their beast daycare.

Felix was the one who bought the highest privilege that their beasts could enjoy, and it was worth it for months.

Noah was worried that not only would they get stressed after their soul connection was cut off, but they also might not be able to return, leaving behind their beasts to suffer until their death.

Noah didn’t want them to suffer, but he couldn’t do anything.

He was helpless.

In the end, he was more than ready to bear the result if they could indeed return to their real world.

The father and son chatted until Sarah chimed in.

...

Two weeks had passed. The passengers had already grown accustomed to their current situation.

Two incidents occurred in the past two weeks.

There were five Commander Beast Tamers who fell from the abyssal energy during their meditation in the corrupted zones, and it was the first time Felix killed his fellow humans.

He had to make a move by himself. In fact, Master Shen was about to end them, but Felix gathered courage to experience what it meant to kill a fellow human.

Of course, he was guilt-stricken, but convincing himself that it was for their sake, he swallowed the guilt, and his temperament had slowly changed since then.

Krisha was the same; she killed the other two beast tamers who were corrupted.

The beast tamers were rampaging the moment they lost control of their energy, allowing the abyssal energy to wreak havoc in their bodies.

The sad part was how their beasts were affected.

The moment they lost control of their Aura, their beasts were corrupted by the abyssal energy, as well.

Sky Marshal Kaelor ordered their proper burial, and after that incident, barely any beast tamers tried meditating in the corrupted zones like Felix and Krisha.

At the same time, the way they gazed at Felix and Krisha significantly changed. They felt like they were staring at the monsters.

At first, they, including the victims of getting corrupted, thought that since Felix and Krisha could do it, they definitely could.

Among those victims of getting corrupted was Nicholas.

The main reason he dared risk his life was that he saw how Felix and Krisha effortlessly meditated in the corrupted zones for a day straight.

He thought it would be easy for him to replicate their actions.

In the end, he did not even last for an hour before the abyssal energy successfully corrupted him the moment his convictions wavered.

As a result, Felix and Krisha encouraged the other beast tamers.

Those first batch of victims were underestimating the corrupted zones as they underestimated Felix and Krisha.

Now, with the Sky Marshal Kaelor’s strict warning and instruction, they started meditating outside the Obsidian Wing first.

Once their Aura stabilized and could handle denser Abyssal energy, only then would they attempt to meditate in the corrupted zones.

The second incident was the horde of monsters attacking them in different directions again.

However, this time, Sky Marshal Kaelor did not participate.

He did not even summon his thunder formation.

After announcing that there were no demonic creatures equivalent to Lord’s rank and their sheer numbers could be handled by the passengers themselves, he did not protect them.

He wanted to temper them, as well.

After all, after Sky Marshal Kaelor reached the King’s rank, causing his senses to expand, he noticed the presence of a terrifying aura comparable to Monarch.

He did not want to startle them.

At the moment, they appeared to be dormant and were very inactive, especially during their arrival.

Hence, the second incident was mostly solved by three Lord Beast Tamers and Felix and Krisha themselves, rapidly gaining fame as a result...
