She gently lifted a corner of the quilt and looked inside. With the dim light, she saw that both her dress and underwear were tidy, and breathed a sigh of relief, then painfully rubbed her head.

Because of the heating system in the car, the floor was warm.

After getting off the bed, she drew the privacy curtain back in place, then quickly walked to the bathroom—partly because she really needed to use the toilet and partly because she needed to calm down.

Sitting on the toilet, she recalled the events of yesterday in her mind, still somewhat dazed.
