Let's Manage The Tower
(2) Income and expenditure management
After completing management management, Kaiseki began to manage the tower hierarchy.
For the tower hierarchy, even in the default state, there is an income of 100 pt of magic per day.
This is because low-level monsters are coming in to fight against each other.
There are many pts that come in with the same crusade as mid- and high-ranking monsters, but high-ranking monsters are highly intelligent and seldom compete for complete cohabitation.
For this reason, there are very few regular crusade pts in the middle and high hierarchy.
Incidentally, in the default state, the lower hierarchy is from the first level to the fortieth level, the middle level is from the forty-first level to the seventieth level, and the higher level is from the seventy-first level to the hundredth level. This is only the criterion set by the examiner.
There are two ways to generate monsters in each hierarchy.
One occurs naturally due to the natural environment in the hierarchy.
The other is when a Summon Monster is placed in a hierarchy from the management menu.
When placing Summon Monsters, naturally three types of pt will be used to place them.
For example, this happens in the Slime Summon Team.
Name: Slime Summon Team
Rank: Monster Rank F
Installation Cost: 100pt (Ghost) or 50,000pt total of Holy Power + Magic
DESCRIPTION: Summon up to 1000 random Slides. The pt gained by killing 1000 will be approximately 110pt magic.
There are two problems with using Summon Monsters.
It's cheaper to install it with sacred and magical powers than with divine powers.
Here is the problem. How do I collect sanctity and magic?
Answer. It is collected on its own once a day.
In the first place, sacred power and magic arise naturally from nature, which is arranged in each hierarchy. If you use other magic or sacred powers, it will occur not only to people and monsters, but it is a small amount compared to the amount generated by nature.
There are 100 towers managed by Kaiseki, so sacred power and magic are replenished daily from each layer. However, there is a limit to the maximum capacity of the Holy Power and Magic Crystal to be refilled once a day, up to 1 million pts each.
Even more problematic. The number of Summoned Slides is random.
It means that even if you use 100 pts of magic to install it and then crush all the slides that come out afterwards, you may not get 100 pts of magic.
This is completely lucky, so it is not something that can be adjusted.
For two reasons, we can't just set up a Summon Monster and use Kouchi and Mitsuki to crush each other.
Additionally, currently only low level monsters can be placed in Summon Squads, so the pt gained from Crusading is also small. It's not entirely commensurate with effort and cost.
"I'm not saying..."
Kouhi and Mitsuki nodded as they were impressed to hear Kaiseki summarize his thoughts while looking at the management screen.
"... I see, that's right."
"Haah. It's amazing."
"Really...? I think you're used to this.
The idea of studying aids definitely comes from the game brain.
"Are you used to..."
"If we don't think about the balance of payments properly, we'll go bankrupt soon. Well, the sacred powers and magic will be saved on their own, so it won't be self-destructive."
"So... what do we do?
"Set up a Summon Monster."
Kouchi had a suspicious expression and Mitsuki had a suspicious expression when he answered the question immediately.
"... what do you mean?
"It is highly likely that the Summon Monsters that can be set up now do not suit your needs, but I don't know what will come out in the future. I think that if the tower LV rises, the type of installation will increase.
After that, you don't know how to raise the tower LV. This is completely predictable, but there may be a condition on the number of Summon Monsters installed. After all, I don't know unless I try. "
So we're going to crush the monsters?
"No, it's not. As I said earlier, it is too much waste to have both of us do it. That might be good for the first time."
"So, what do we do?
"We don't have to go into the tower alone, do we?
In the words of the examiner, the two shall be happy.
But I immediately had the look of doubt.
"But how do we bring adventurers here?
The Central Tower had not been attacked in the first place because it was considered difficult to reach it.
"When I checked earlier, I found something good."
"Good stuff? What?"
Two people who were intrigued showed what was on the management screen.
Name: Metastatic Gate (External)
Installation Cost: 10,000 pt (Shinto)
Description: A transfer gate to connect any point outside the tower to any level of the tower.
Round-trip and one-way settings are possible.
The Central Tower, where adventurers cannot come, is the perfect setting.
"Wow, I see. They use this to bring in adventurers and crush them."
"That's one of our goals, but that's not all."
When I found this, I came up with an idea.
"What do you mean? What do you mean by that?
"First, the transfer gate takes tolls. I'm sure the adventurers will pay the toll if they think they can make money even if they come inside the tower.
But that doesn't make any sense. It's just a temporary customer for the tower. "
The examiner took a breath apart from the story and went on.
"So we build cities in the tower to create people who are constantly active in the tower.... of course, at first, there were a few houses. I think the size of each floor of this tower would be enough... but what do you think?
After talking at once about the study aid, the two were silent for a while.
Eventually, the question that arose as to whether there was any sort of arrangement among ourselves hit the assistant.
It is not to crush the study aid plan. To fill as many holes as possible before proceeding with the plan.
"What happens when people need a place to stay to live?
"I checked it and found it in the installation. 20,000 pt in a house of general size. I think we should build about ten houses at first."
"And then what?
"Perhaps we should have the craftsmen come and build it for us, to save PT."
"Who lives in a dwelling in a tower?
"It's going to be hard at first. However, if you think it would be more convenient to have a base here, I think it's this one."
"... we also need to adjust the placement of monsters throughout the tower."
"I have to make you think you can make money."
One after the other, we will crush it so that we can execute it.
As we speak, questions also arise about the assistant examiner, and we propose it to both of them.
While the three of us were discussing things, time went by and finally took shape, and Mitsuki finally proposed.
"This is a suggestion, but can you spare me some of the magic I have stored in the crystal for a while?
"Hmm? What do you mean?
Kouchi answered the question of the examiner briefly.
It's a summons.
"Yes, if you try to do what I just told you, you won't have enough men to think about it. Anyway, you should stop using people from outside at first."
"Instead of Kaiseki going to be busy managing the tower, I think it would be better to leave the communication with the outside world to the summoners. By the way, I want you to share the sacred power."
The examiner nodded at the proposal. There was no idea of summoning manpower.
"Okay. In the meantime, I'm busy adjusting the tower, so should I summon you to coordinate with the outside world?
"I see. Let's do it."
"Yes, sir."
As they nodded, the future policy was completely consolidated.
I think there are still a lot of places to go, but I can't help it because I don't know what will happen if I don't actually try to do it later.
The management of the tower began in earnest.
By the way... it was still a long way before the three of us realized that we had not decided on a proper name for the tower.
