Let's Manage The Tower

(9) Discussion with Schmidt

Schmidt, who opened a shop in the village of Ta, was called by Warhid to the temple's reception room.

Even if I was called, I didn't force myself to be the ruler of the village, but after listening to my plans, I visited Schmidt's free time.

Recently, Warhid seems to have started using several slaves to rule the village, and it was one of them who let Schmidt through here.

What Schmidt is not going to say about using slaves. Rather, Schmidt employs several slaves to open the store.

Rather, it is surprising that I have done so much but I have never used it before.

The village of Ta shows signs of rapid development.

There are still a few new buildings to build, but there is no doubt that the number will increase in the future.

As a result, people and things get in and out more often.

The gates connecting this tower to the outside world are currently being tolled, but I can't imagine how much profit that will bring in the future.

Incidentally, there are two types of tolls, one for people entering and leaving normally, and the other for luggage.

Baggage like the ones the adventurers carry doesn't hit it, but it comes with big things like carriages.

This is not limited to the village of this tower, but it is the same in any city or village, so there was no particular dissatisfaction.

However, the tolls to enter and exit the village are higher than others, so it seems that some people complain there.

But Warhid's response to that has been consistent.

That means you don't have to come if you don't like it.

It is forced to start, such as those who actually scattered at the transfer gate, and those who caused trouble in the village.

Schmidt doesn't understand the logic, but it seems that the portal has the ability to distinguish who passes through it.

Once it is recorded that the person will never be able to pass through the gate again.

I would like to hear the reasoning eventually, but it will be quite difficult. That's because it's a big part of security for this tower.

Schmidt couldn't help but overhear that he wanted to keep the relationship going rather than be questioned.

When I was thinking about that in the reception room, the door was knocked and a word came in.

Until then, of course, Schmidt was surprised to see the person coming in.

Just before I entered Lüssen, I had been assisted by a monster raid, and it was Mitsuki.

I greeted the examiner in surprise.

"Mr. Kowske, I'm out of time. Lüssen told me you were traveling, but I'm glad you're well."

Schmidt remembered the name of Kaiseki perfectly.

When Schmidt cut it out, Kaiseki also showed a surprise expression.

"Long time no see. No, but it's a boulder. I didn't think you'd remember me for half a day."

"Ha ha ha, no, I met you guys in a lot of ways. I can't forget if I want to."

"Ha ha ha. I really appreciate your help with that passage."

After laughing to deceive Kaiseki, he lowered his head.

"No, no, it's like each other. By the way, how can I help you today?

In response to Schmidt's question, Kaisuke sent a gaze to Warhide.

After that, Warhid began explaining to Schmidt.

"First of all, Kaiseki... Kaiseki is the head of this tower."

For that explanation, Schmidt was shocked, but somewhere in his mind, still thought.

The Administrator is the ruler of this tower.

There have been rumors before that a tower in the middle of the Central Continent was attacked by someone.

The rumors naturally included the names of the attackers, but all were the names of well-known guilds or parties, and the names of the auxiliaries were not mentioned there.

But Schmidt, who had seen Mitsuki's battle in the first place, even though he was out of his profession, thought that maybe.

"... was it?"

"Why did you confess here just now, as a reminder... have you ever heard of us trying to build an alliance?

Schmidt was puzzled by the sudden change.

It was in my ear that such stories were rumoured among the adventurers.

But I thought it was just about the Adventurer Alliance... the one involved in the battle in the Tower.

I didn't know why I brought the story to myself.

"Yes, I've heard rumors... about the Adventurers Guild, right?

"That's right. The Adventurers Guild is the rumor."

To answer, Schmidt frowned.

Warhid now affirmed that they were the ones who spread the rumors.

I didn't know why to tell myself that now.

Because it's just about the Adventurers Guild.

"Yes, wait for the Adventurer Guild... Adventurer? No way!?

Unexpectedly, Schmidt looked at Warhid asking questions that arose.

"You don't think a commercial guild will be created!?

It is not for Schmidt and the merchants that an alliance involving the rulers of the tower is created directly in the village.

But Warhid's answer was further above Schmidt.

"To be precise, we do not create various guilds in pieces, such as Adventurer Guilds and Commercial Guilds. We're going to create an alliance that brings them together... a crown."

In this world, a guild is an organization that brings together similar industries.

That's why the Adventurer Guild is made up of adventurers and the Merchant Guild is made up of merchants.

However, I've never heard of one organization that brings together different guilds from these industries.

To put it bluntly, it is the country, the city itself, and the administration itself.

Since the administration does not involve the management of the Alliance itself, it will be similar to an organization called the Crown.

Schmidt thought so much in his head that he wondered why he was at this stage of the story and immediately got the conjecture.

"... no way."

"Yes, I was wondering if you could get Mr Schmidt to head the commercial division of the organization."

Schmidt swallowed the words in a reflective attempt to answer that it was impossible.

Accepting Warhid's invitation means working within the organization.

It became the lord of the castle of Ikkuni with a shop in this corner.

Warhid's position is the same, but there is no doubt about it as long as there is a study aid.

But if you accept the invitation, it will be more profitable. I can be sure of that.

In the special environment of the tower, the organization created by its rulers can be advantageous.

However, it is easy to imagine that the pressure from the existing Alliance outside the Tower will not be halfway there.

Standing at the top means you have to stand on those arrows.

When asked if I could compete with the top of a thousand commercial guilds in Haichiyama, I was not sure.

For that reason, the word "impossible" came up, but the invitation was too attractive to be answered immediately.

It was Schmidt who could see through those thoughts or bring out more unimaginable things.
