Let's Manage The Tower
(4) Conditions
While beating the man with a smile in front of him in his heart, Lucas still uttered his words without changing his expression.
"So, is there no further compromise for you?
"That's what happens. Well, if you want more than that, I'll take it."
Lucas realized that it was useless to want any more from a man who said that with a slack expression.
Before my very eyes is only the Messenger of the Kingdom of Razek Amamiya, not the Negotiator.
No matter how much you spend here, you won't be able to make any concessions.
Beyond being a messenger, it is useless to talk about anything here.
In the meantime, I decided to cloud the place, and I asked the man in front of me to take it back.
"We can't reply right away. I would like to consider it thoroughly."
The man in front of him nodded once to see what Lucas wanted to say and then said what Lucas wanted.
"Now, if you'll excuse me.... oh, yeah."
The man who tried to leave the room turned around and looked like he remembered.
"The dialogue door is always open, so let me know if you need anything."
The man said that and thanked Lucas once before he left the room completely.
After Razek Amamiya's Messenger had completely left, Lucas looked again at the texts that the man had brought.
And after confirming that it wasn't a mistake, Lucas made a fist and hit the desk.
The sound of dong echoed in the room, and the proximity beside him shook his body.
"You really want me to drink under these conditions! Are they insane!?
I came to talk to the fierce Lucas, afraid of his closest associates.
"So far?
Check it out.
Lucas let go of the document after he succinctly said so.
Originally, because it is a diplomatic document, we should treat it with some politeness, but that kind of mood is completely lost.
The familiar person who had been reading the document changed his expression after so little time.
I was close enough to erase my expression, but now it's only Lucas, and because of the contents of the document, I seem to have missed the effort to erase it.
"Is this... serious?
The last thing I saw in the document was a slip.
"I'm sure you mean it."
Lucas also replied with a bitter, crushed look.

The document that the neighbor had described the "conditions" for the northern city to be under the umbrella of Razeqamamiya.
It contains conditions that cannot normally be drunk.
It is still good to relinquish rights to surrounding towns and villages and entrust each one to deal with them.
In this regard, it has been said that similar conditions existed in other east-southwest cities.
However, there are two other conditions that are unlikely from the northern city.
One of them was to attribute all of the taxation rights to Razekamamiya.
There is no other condition to match it.
That means that all human resources rights of politicians in relation to the northern city belong to Lazeqamamiya.
With these two conditions, the northern city will be completely absorbed by Lazeqamamia.
Other Southeast countries have the same rights as before as long as they pay taxes on the state.
It may be said that a certain degree of autonomy is recognized.
However, with the conditions presented this time, it is entirely required to belong to Razekamamiya.
I don't know if I'm going to do it, but it will even be possible to eliminate all the nobles that are currently moving the northern city and place new ones.
Even if we ignore it, there is nothing we can do about it because the nobles who are now trying to wield power are even covered by the tax rights that are the basis of that power.
Such conditions could not have been accepted.
Even if Lucas were good, he would not be spared the rebellion of the city's nobles.
Why did Lucas come up with these conditions? Lucas can't read the intentions of Lazeqamamia at all.
"Are you going to let them know?
"Those people" are the nobles of the fools who claim their rights.
"... I'll have to show you. No, I'll show it to you after I've agreed on it."
That seems more likely to be a response to Lazequa Mamia, and an extra thought came to Lucas' mind.
Unfortunately, I can't do that.
The document also states that the consent of the leading person must be obtained.
It was impossible to surprise the powerful.
"But... as far as this is concerned, Razek Amamiya seems to want the northern city to collapse once and for all."
"... what do you mean?
"Having drunk these conditions, we cannot escape the rebellion of today's leading figures. The northern city will recede if you leave without drinking the conditions."
In front of Lucas, the top of the northern city, the neighbor clearly said so.
Regardless of disrespect, an intimacy is merely a statement of fact.
Lucas didn't blame his close associates because he shared the same perception.
"Either way, it's the same for his country."
"The former may have been better given the damage they suffer."
Lucas leaned his neck to the words of his closest companion.
"What do you mean?
"If the northern city drinks and falls under its umbrella, hopefully it will only be damaged by the powerful."
"... is that what you mean?"
Lucas finally figured out what Razek Amamiya was thinking.
At least the upper echelons of Razek Amamiya seem to think that the current system of control of the northern city is not good.
That's why it seems clear that I think it is better to rule from a state that is even closer when I point out the rude conditions and enter the umbrella.
To be clear, this is what the rulers are doing in the northern part of the city.
Lucas sighed as if he had chewed the bitter bug.
"I wish they could read that."
Lucas murmured with an unexpected look.

As expected, or somehow, as Lucas thought, the meeting was confusing.
Everyone in the audience says what they want to say, but what they have in common is, "You can't drink under these conditions!".
That would be fine, but I have heard that I would like one of the alternatives to come out, but it won't come out so well at all.
Most opinions have always been directed at Razek Amamiya.
Looking at this, Lucas had a head in his heart that Razek Amamia could not help but abandon.
Having said that, as a delegate, I must somehow put together my opinion as Lucas, rather than attending this meeting.
It was Lucas struggling to calm down the noisy stadium and gather his opinions.
