Let's Manage The Tower
(13) Day before battle
On the evening of the next day, I refrained from competing against the highest rank in the arena.
It was Isaac, who was busy playing with women as usual, but he cut it up and headed somewhere.
"... hmm?
When I saw the woman passing by on the way to the Mansion of Destination, I felt like Isaac was caught in something.
Unexpectedly, she looked back and then saw her face, but the woman bent the corner and disappeared.
I've been thinking about the woman for a while, but I didn't make any promises.
On the contrary, she was hardly even familiar.
"It's your fault..."
Isaac shook his head and murmured, as if nothing had happened before, and started walking again towards the Mansion.
Isaac was on his way to the Alliance Master's Mansion at the Battle Chamber.
To be precise, the Alliance Master has his home in the capital of the Dominican Empire, so the Mansion in the town of Seychun is a separate residence.
But that doesn't matter to Isaac.
Isaac came to the mansion to receive something.
As soon as I told my family my name, I was taken to the room in the mansion.
Hmm.
When he saw the furniture and accessories in the room, Isaac snorted.
I know that each of the items placed is a first-class product, but if I look at it for Isaac, I have no idea why I spend money on it.
Isaac thought it would be better for a woman to spend money on something like that.
Isaac sat down on such a luxury sofa and waited for what he needed for tomorrow's battle.
A few minutes after Isaac calmed down.
A man came in after knocking on the door of the room.
"No, no, thank you for waiting."
It was the head of the Battle Chamber branch in Seychun who came into the room with a gentle smile on the surface.
Even though it is nominally an Alliance Master Mansion, it is essentially the Branch Manager who uses it.
"Is it usual for you to be late?
"Oh, haha. You took one of these."
Against Isaac's aversion, the branch manager passed along lightly with the same smile.
Despite a slight discomfort, Isaac decided to cut out the matter.
As long as you receive what you receive, there is no use in this place.
"Hmm. I'm sure you're better prepared than that.
"Ha ha ha, of course! Our Chamber of Commerce motto is quick and polite..."
"Thank you very much. Come on, let's go."
Isaac stopped looking at the branch manager and trying to make his usual remarks.
"This is rude. So here we are."
While being stared at by Isaac, the branch manager took out the cloth wrapped in his pocket without erasing his smile.
Hmm.
After receiving it whistling, Isaac opens the cloth wrap to see what's inside.
There were five spherical golf balls in the package.
It was Isaac who was checking something while holding it up one by one, but he nodded after checking everything.
"... okay."
"Ha ha, I'm glad you're satisfied."
Hmm.
Once again, Isaac snorted his nose and took out a small package with his hand in his pocket.
And he put the package on the small table that was lying next to him.
As the package sat on the table, I heard clashes between the metal and the rags.
"Isn't that enough?
What Isaac offered was money to pay the branch manager.
Hearing the sound of gold, the branch manager further deepened the smile and took the package.
"Hi, of course I'll check it out here."
When counting large volumes of gold coins, it is basically for merchants to do so.
Because if a merchant is found to have committed fraud there, it will soon become a matter of time before the merchants can do anything about it.
That doesn't change who belongs to the guild, or who does business individually.
The branch manager, who was familiar with the handwriting, nodded with a smile.
"Yes, it's all here."
"Hmm."
To the branch manager, who lowered his head, Isaac replied with a small snort.
"How will it go after this? If you'd like, can I offer you a seat for dinner?
"I don't need it. Why do you have to drink with a man? I'm going now."
Really?
The branch manager nodded without stopping to Isaac, who stood up.
Isaac, who was watching it, snorted his nose one last time and left.

The branch manager, who had dropped off Isaac, headed straight to the next room.
"Thank you for waiting."
Even though it was the same word as when I met Isaac, the color of the voice I heard was completely different.
Obviously, I am more nervous now than I was when I was in Isaac.
"No, it's fine. I'd rather give him something first."
"I'm sorry."
Hmm.
The opponent replied to Falcon, politely avoiding his head.
Then, basically, he put his hand in his pocket and took out the bag containing the money.
"Sure."
The branch manager said that without checking the contents of the bag he received.
It was an attitude that clearly showed a difference in creditworthiness from Isaac.
The branch manager had a lot of doubts about the other person.
"As usual, are you sure?
"Don't worry about it. That's what I need."
"But I'm not used to receiving money even though I'm not the one who actually handed it over."
The opponent smiled at the branch manager's words.
"What a merchant. But we're doing it because we need it. You don't have to worry about it."
"This is also a business, so I'll take it..."
"What?
The man allowed the branch manager to ask questions when he saw him screaming.
"It doesn't last forever, does it?
"Yeah."
The opponent nodded clearly in the branch manager's words and went on.
"Well, let's have a dream for a while. And then I thought," Well, I can do whatever he wants. "
Really?
Both are important customers to the branch manager, but if they are told to take either, they are definitely in front of them.
The branch manager made an oath in his heart that nothing should go wrong.
The branch manager is not in a position to know everything about the person in front of him.
However, I only followed the instructions from the top, but as far as the branch manager was concerned, that was enough.
If you anger the person in front of you, your neck will undoubtedly split up and down.
It is, both at work and physically.
I didn't mean to poke my shield in the first place, but it's a matter of feeling.
If you were told to pick either Isaac or the person in front of you, you would pick the person in front of you without thinking.
For the branch manager, the opponent in front of him is so much.
Whatever the other person's thoughts were while having a conversation with him, the branch manager renewed his thoughts that he was only doing his job now.
