Let's Manage The Tower

(10) Ritual Success

There are two main steps required to create an initial jewel.

One is to connect the jewels with the power of Mother Earth.

And the other thing is to clarify the relationship between jewelry and vampires.

Having a relationship with the second vampire means getting the crystal stone into the jewel.

The second, of course, is that if Shreyne has a title, we can make a jewel somehow.

However, the question is what to do about it, and Shreyne has no idea what to do.

"--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"

Shreyn looked at the study aid with her hands up.

"Well, that's true. Can't you just do it all of a sudden?"

I don't know in detail what kind of ritual a vampire has.

We can only imagine an extremely vague process in which something (...) is being done to guide the results from the completion of the jewelry.

"Just, well... ah, no. I knew it was nothing."

Suddenly, Shreyn turned to the assistant who shook his neck delimiting the words and urged him to move forward.

"What is it? If you say so, you'll be more worried."

"Hmm. It may be because of the image that Schlein has been around for a long time, but I think it's okay for Schlein to create a new ritual on his own."

Shreyne looked puzzled at the assistant who said she didn't have to focus on the past.

At least for Schlein, the vamilinian jewels have existed for a long time.

It's only natural to think that it's being made.

"Even so. I have no idea how to make jewelry.

"Hmm... oh, yeah."

After thinking for a moment with his arms around him, Shreyn looked like he had something in mind.

"If it's Shreyn, how do you make something out of the jewels and crystals that you have? Unpluck the vamilinian jewels."

"Why not?

"Besides, it doesn't have to be Schlein or any jewelry I know. What do we do?

Shreyn had a slight expression of surprise and bewilderment at the study aid that she had been staring at.

"I don't know what to do with this jewel and crystal..."

As Shreyn murmured, she began to think about what to do, as she was told by the examiner.

Advice from examiners (?), Shreyn had been reading books in the castle for several days.

Some of them, of course, were brought to us by Ines before.

This may be looking for an old ritual to make jewellery, but in addition to that ritual to make jewellery (contract?) I'm looking for something that might help.

No matter how many species identify themselves as contract experts, new rituals do not come to mind easily.

I've been contacting a lot about whether there's anything that might be helpful.

Nevertheless, most of the contracts that vampires enter into cover things that are natural but alive, or that were previously alive but died.

Ceremonies targeting inorganic objects like jewels were not enough.

"... well, I'm in trouble."

Though Schlein knows many rituals, I can't think of a ritual that would make a contract with an inorganic object without any hint.

Anyway, I didn't think it would work even if I did the ritual by accident.

Inez came to Shreyn's troubled place.

"What's the problem?

"Mmm? Ah, Inez. You're in trouble... hmm. Would you like to ask Lord Ines one thing?

"Did Lord Shreyne tell me? Anything wrong?

Until now, when Shreyne was asking Inez questions directly, it was usually when she was thinking about something important.

Shreyne smiled back at Inez, who had stood up a little from the experience.

"No, what? It's not that difficult..."

With that in mind, Shreyne asked Inez for his opinion on the new ritual he had just considered.

Inez nodded "I see" with his face when he heard from Shreyn, and returned a bitter smile.

"Nevertheless, Master Kouske said something tough inside."

"Fufu, you still think so?

In Inez's words, Shreyn smiled.

Though it is a study aid that has become a human god, there are still places where self-evaluation is low.

Especially when it comes to the creation of tools (divine instruments), when there is almost no one next to them, we sometimes ask others for the same level.

Normally, this is impossible, but examinations with low self-assessment can be easily demanded.

There was something close to that this time.

"It's not..."

With a smile on his face, Shreyn kept saying more after slightly delimiting it there.

"Wonder, Kouske has never said anything imprudent or impossible. It might just be a coincidence."

"It's Kouske's power as a god... no. Is it slow?

I never thought of Inez's counterattack (?), Shreyn rounded her eyes.

Then, after laughing hard, I looked a little distant with a troubled face.

"--I think so."

In response, Inez looked like he saw something dazzling, but Shreyne, who was out of sight, did not notice it.

After a conversation with Inez, Shreyne came up with a ritual that she couldn't do.

I don't know if it will succeed, but I decided to try it first, so I moved the place from the castle and prepared the ritual.

This ceremony is also the first time for Shreyne, and it is possible that she will fall over the force.

That's why I had Sylvia follow me as a watchman.

Sylvia was chosen as a watchdog because prayers to Mother Earth were also included in the ritual.

Shreyne began to congratulate Sylvia before she began the ritual.

The crystal stone was held in his hand as advised by Kaiseki.

This ritual requires prayer to the Mother Earth and crystal stones, so I kept them in my hand from the beginning.

A crystal stone in the right hand and a scepter in the left hand chanted the congratulations, and a change came to both from the middle.

The red crystalline stone in his right hand began to melt as if exposed to high heat, and it became red light and was sucked into the sphere attached to the tip of the cane.

And that wasn't the only change that happened, but the red light that was supposed to have been sucked into the cane came out again, and now it was sucked straight into the jewels.

By the time the red light was completely embedded in the jewels, Shreyne's congratulations had stopped completely.

The red light vanished and Shreyne didn't move to watch for a while, but the jewels didn't change anything.

Having confirmed it, Shreyn finally sighed with a smile.

The look on his face shows Sylvia that the ritual was a success.

Congratulations.

"Oh, thank you."

To Sylvia, who approached him and blessed him, Shreyne answered with a smile.
