Let's Manage The Tower

(3) Long time no see

After stretching his legs to Alec's mansion, he decided to spend the night.

The next day is a stroll through the King's Landing with Florian and Sylvia.

Basically, I only peeked at the shops and cooled the stalls, but I was able to enjoy it enough.

Once they returned to Alec's mansion, they were thinking of returning to the tower management that day, but something unexpected happened.

What a response from King Maxim, who thought it was still going to take.

"... no, that's impossible, isn't it?

Floria was surprised by the unusually quick response next to the study aid.

Alec, who told the auxiliaries that a response was coming, also laughed bitterly at Florian's words.

"No, it seems normal. Apparently, it was a letter from me that was prioritized."

If that's all, still beautiful brothers (love?) I think it was cleared up, but it was King Maxim who was surprised to see the letter.

It was accompanied by Florian, who is now King Maxim's niece, wishing to see him during his stay in King's City and, if possible, to go with him.

What surprised me was King Maxim, who had several face-to-face appointments.

I had no idea that God would come, even though he was a human God in his sympathy.

Against their expectations, King Maxim made a quick decision.

It is written that there is a security problem, so it cannot be done on that day, but the system of visits will be put in place the next day after the letter is sent.

In other words, we will meet King Maxim the day after tomorrow.

Alec asked Kaiseki, who was grinning at the fact that the conversation had been decided, to confirm it.

So, what are we gonna do?

"Well, of course I'm going.

Of course, Alec shook his right hand to the left and right.

"Oh, no, no. Are you staying tonight and tomorrow instead of there?

In anticipation of Alec, Floria smiled bitterly and looked at the study aid.

In the sight of Florian, the examiner nodded small.

If it's been two days, you can go back to the tower management once, but Alec replied that you can stay here if you want.

Until they climbed the castle in a meeting with King Maxim, the examiners were at ease.

In order to keep Florian in the water with her parents and children, Kaosuke and Sylvia acted apart and visited places they could not go on their first day.

And finally on that day, the examiners went to the castle in their usual style.

Alec and the others shook their heads at the suggestion that we should dress up and meet face-to-face.

This visit is a "private" visit, not a meeting surrounded by civilians.

In the first place, Kaiseki was not officially named as a god of the real world and visited, so it was said that it was not necessary.

Detailed rules around this area were decided to leave the examination to Floria and Alec, as they were outsiders.

By the way, Sylvia is the usual witch dress, so this is the usual one.

Therefore, the scholars who went up to the royal castle should be taken for granted, but suddenly they did not meet King Maxim.

Once I was in another room, I was forced to wait until time.

This was in a sense a normal procedure, so the examiners did not care.

What surprised me was that, while the examiners were waiting for time, unexpected people appeared.

The man whose doors opened and appeared in the room where the examiners were waiting was Prince Leonardo, who had been appointed the next king.

"Sorry to keep you waiting."

Moreover, because I suddenly lowered my head to the examiner, I was told that I knew the situation properly.

To Leonardo, who looked younger given his age, Kaiseki shook his neck to the side while feeling nostalgic.

"No, don't worry about it. I'm saying it's impossible. More than that, I'm glad you're doing well."

"Ha ha. Thank you. I would have liked it had my father been well."

Looking at Leonardo, who said so with a little shade on his face, the examiners looked at each other.

Taking all the trouble to say that from Leonardo is like saying it's not in very good shape.

Leonardo nodded as he continued to look at the examiners.

"Well, you'll see about my father from now on. Let's go for now."

"Huh? Together?

Unexpectedly, Kaiseki said so, but Leonardo immediately agreed.

"Yeah, that's faster."

Leonardo, who was supposed to be busy on behalf of King Maxim, took the trouble to show his face in order to take the examiners directly to King Maxim.

You don't have to take up procedural or time.

One of the reasons why we were able to meet so quickly was that Kaiseki, guided by Leonardo, went to the back of the royal castle.

Needless to say, the place will be the place where the king usually lives, so usually only a limited number of people can come.

Even Florian in the past has never been here.

King Maxim was supposed to be in the room when he opened the door of the royal castle, which was unparalleled in luxury sculpture.

Leonardo, the leader, did not notice, but the moment he entered the room, Kaiseki realized that Sylvia had turned a meaningful gaze.

Even Floria, who is conscious of King Maxim, who is about to meet him, is unaware of it.

Probably the only person who noticed Sylvia's change was Kouchi, who had arrived with him.

However, Kaosuke and Kouchi arrived after Leonardo and Floria, noticing Sylvia without saying anything.

I knew that I shouldn't make inadvertent remarks here without being told.

As if nothing had happened on the surface, the party proceeded into a room with a bed in the back.

And there, as a matter of course, King Maxim waited with half his body awaiting the arrival of the examiners.

"Uncle Maxim... No, King!

For Florian, the consciousness of the uncle was stronger than that of the king, and I corrected what I inadvertently called for there.

"Ha ha ha. Floria, I don't care if it's your uncle.

Maxim said to Floria with a loose smile and immediately turned to Kaiseki.

"Living God, please forgive me for meeting you like this."

"No, don't worry about it. I can tell by looking at your physical condition. Wouldn't it be better if you slept properly?

Maxim's complexion was unexpectedly not as good as that suggested by Kaiseki.

However, Maxim once again smiled and shook his neck to the right and left in response to the examiner's words.

"No, I'm really feeling well today. This is also because the nostalgic people came."

As soon as I saw Leonardo beside me, I knew that Maxim's words were not flattering.

Because Leonardo nodded greatly at Maxim's words.

Nevertheless, the amateur learned that Maxim's physical condition was considerably worse than normal.

I thought secretly in my chest that it would be better to retire early.
