Let's Manage The Tower

(7) House Cardigan

As a result of raising various candidate sites, Kaiseki narrowed down the place where the magic equipment store was built to one.

In order to build the place, there are people who must say hello properly, given the noise and rumors that will surely arise later.

When I wrote to the other person, I received an immediate reply.

After considering the response and his convenience, the examiner decided to go to the site three days later.

When I told Sylvia and Floria about it, they would follow me, and the day before, they would follow me.

I don't plan to stay for a long period of time, but if I get permission to set up a shop, I have to decide what kind of shop to set up.

In order to do so, a field survey will be necessary.

I still don't know what the result will be, but I thought it would be a good idea because it was a chance to come up with a corner, while the examiners headed to a certain city.

The city to which the samurai were headed became the home of the Cardigan family.

The city was chosen by Kaiseki because the connection between the Cardigan family and Kaiseki, the god of the real world, is only known to a very limited number of people.

Because of this, even if something strange happened, I didn't think it would be the job of the study assistant right away.

In that sense, I thought it would be better to have no connection at all, but when something happens, the administration, including the lord, may launch a full-scale investigation.

If that happens, it may cause trouble again.

Therefore, if Scott, who owns the city, and René, who is his wife, knew about the study aid and dealt with it, I thought that the noise would be suppressed to a certain extent.

That's why I made a proper contact with my main character, Scott, this time.

Scott welcomed such an examination with pleasure.

Before that, the examiner came, and Lenka stormed in the same way as before, but nobody stopped it because it was already a routine event.

Even as an examiner, I was glad to be able to confirm that the wolves were well, so I was honestly pulled by the wrench.

So the wolves finally entered the Mansion and met with Scott.

Lenka was not in the discussion room because this visit was not about Tamer, but about business in a way.

There is no Rene for the same reason.

Then Scott appeared to the lord and asked.

"Well, Mr. Kowske. I've invited you on request, but may I ask for more information?

"Of course. That's why I'm here."

Scott nodded and started talking about the magic shop.

I told her that I had something to talk about in a letter, but I didn't tell her the details.

It is not normal in itself to meet the Duke's lord in such a state, but neither Kaiseki nor Scott seems to care about it.

Apprenticeships neglect the common sense of the nobles in general, and Scott thinks that the Apprenticeships are superior, so they are established.

Scott nodded convincingly after hearing about the store from Kaiseki.

"I see. So you want to get permission from a city in your territory to build a shop for Mr. Kouske?"

"To be precise, I would rather have the silence of the shop even if there is a disturbance."

What do you mean...?

Scott leaned his neck without knowing what it meant, and the examiner nodded once before he started talking.

"The shop we're trying to build this time doesn't rent land and build buildings on top of it."

I explained the details of the shop that I was going to build this time.

As I explained at the outset, I don't do shopping in the city.

Instead, "roadway" entrances and exits to shops like fox lodgings should appear everywhere in the city.

Only those who found the entrance and exit will be able to reach the Kaiseki shop.

This is an application of the boundaries around the fox lodging and buildings previously built on the tower level.

Study aid is not just made with ideas, it is repeated to develop properly.

Having heard from the examiner, Scott frowned.

"I would like to say that Kouske-sama is very welcome to set up a shop in the territory... but the noise is very high..."

Scott hesitates as a lord to make a fuss just by listening.

I would like to welcome stores that are likely to be the subject of discussion, but given the magnitude of the noise, I would like to say that I am not welcome with all my hands up.

"I'm not going to be able to understand your concerns."

I just nodded that it would be natural for Scott to understand what he was saying.

However, when Kaiseki answered that, Floria, who had listened to the two stories in silence until now, came in between her mouth.

"Kowske, in this case, just say," I'll do my best not to make a scene. "

Yes?

Scott put his hand against his mouth and smiled a little as he leaned his neck without understanding the meaning.

I see. Are you not accustomed to noble exchanges? "

"Mm-hmm. That's why I'm here to make sure I don't go wrong."

Floria nodded at Scott's words and began explaining after seeing the exam aid.

Scott's response earlier does not publicly authorize him as a lord, but it does imply acquiescence.

That was supposed to be it, and Scott knew exactly what it meant for Kaiseki to create such a special shop.

As such, this meeting is not official and the conversation that took place in it is not acknowledged by the public.

For this reason, it is not possible to answer clearly, and it becomes such an ambiguous return.

Speaking of which, Scott feels that he would prefer to talk to him about the study aid.

The position of the examiner is that it is a god in public, and it is not necessary to obtain Scott's permission in the first place.

Besides, I've come all the way to talk to Scott, so there's no need to say no.

Rather, I would like to welcome you with all my hands up, such as a shop made by a real god.

Originally, I would even like to advertise broadly, but if I do, I will not do so because it falls outside the purpose of the Kaiseki store.

Even if Kaiseki allowed it, I am even thinking about the fact that a tremendous tail turn is likely to come from the surrounding area, especially around Floria.

That was something that I could fully understand just by looking at the current interaction between Kaiseki and Florian.

Towards Scott, who was thinking about that, he turned into an unspeakable face.

"I'm sorry, but I don't have enough common sense..."

"No, in this case, it would be worse for me to push the common sense of the nobles. I'm sorry."

"No! That's not...!

Scott lowered his head and shook his right hand in a hurry.

Even though I handled it badly, it made me very uncomfortable as an examiner.

The examiner needed to show that no further apology was necessary.

Because of the desperate nature of the examination, or simply because of his high abilities, Scott immediately realized his intentions and never apologized any further.
