Let's Manage The Tower

(8) Endless mountains

On that day, Wanri was visiting Crown headquarters to buy consumables for use in a fox lodge.

The opponent is Schmidt, head of the merchant division.

Nice to meet you.

"Long time no see. Mr. Schmidt."

The two of them were small (were they young?) I have known it since then, so it has a cheap atmosphere.

Schmidt has never been officially introduced to Wanri's nature, but he somehow knew what he was from the rumors that have been going on.

However, I was not taught to do so by the examiner, so I continued my relationship as usual without asking anything rough.

Especially since the establishment of the fox lodge, I've been seeing each other a lot.

However, it is not usually Wanli himself, but another humanized fox.

When wanli arrive, it is usually when something happens to what they are buying.

That's why Schmidt glanced slightly at the wanli.

"... did something happen again?

"Oh, no. I'm sorry, that's not what I'm saying. I just happened to come out here, so I thought I'd meet you... Was that a nuisance?

"No, absolutely not! If that's the case, you're more than welcome."

Schmidt replied with a smile to Wanri, who looked a little sorry.

In fact, Schmidt looks forward to seeing Wanri from time to time.

Sometimes it's because I've been dating for a long time, but I feel like Grandpa watches my grandchildren grow up.

It's not strange to have grandchildren as old as Wanli in Schmidt's year, so if you two walk around town, you might see it.

Well, when asked if they are similar, most people will say they are not.

The door of the room was knocked when Wanri and Schmidt chatted a little.

"Sir, I'm sorry to interrupt your visit."

"Oh, I don't mind. Come in."

It wasn't a big deal, so Schmidt answered, and the door opened and a man came in from outside the room.

"I heard you had something to say...?

The man said so to Schmidt with a slightly strange face.

Wanri realizes that he came to see himself before the man said the dialogue.

Still, Wanri pretended not to notice and mouthed the juice that had been served.

While realizing Wanri's subtle attitude, Schmidt looked at the man casually and said.

"This is a great opportunity, so I wanted to introduce you to this person."

Schmidt said so, and Wanri finally got up and thanked him.

"Hi, I'm Wanri."

"Oh, yes. Nice to meet you, I'm Doris. I'm assisting Mr. Schmidt."

Doris turned to Schmidt with a slightly confused face.

It was a change that I wouldn't normally notice, but Schmidt is well aware of it.

However, realizing the meaning of the expression, Schmidt dared not answer Doris's question.

"Wanri is one of my most important customers, so I wanted to introduce her to you."

Was that so?

As Schmidt smiled, Doris lowered his head toward Wanli with a picturesque look on his face, saying that this was another sales smile.

In response, Wanri smiled back.

Looking at Doris's face, Schmidt continued.

"This time, I just wanted to meet you two, so that's enough."

"Is this all? Is this all?

"Yeah... oh, I don't have anything in particular for you to prepare. I already have what I need."

Really?

A short answer, Doris kept a sales smile on his mind.

But I heard Wanri say that he called himself on just this business.

Of course, it's a brain correction.

He lowered his head to Schmidt, and Doris left the room.

Wanri, who had heard him leave long enough, looked at Schmidt and said.

"Mr. Schmidt, have you tried him?

"Whoa, whoa. I haven't been able to see it yet."

"I don't know... I think it's pretty easy to understand?

Schmidt smiled back at the strange face tilting his neck.

Shortly after that bitter smile, Schmidt shook his head and replied.

"But it's as good as my heirs and the people around me say."

Schmidt said that and Wanri looked deeply surprised.

I had no idea where Doris would succeed Schmidt.

"Oh, don't get me wrong. It's just one of the successors, and it's not decided.

Really?

Wanli nodded with confidence in Schmidt's words.

To be honest, I don't think Doris will succeed Schmidt when he hears he's a valued customer and doesn't treat Wanri the best.

It was my impression that it would still be impossible for me to continue to work with that member of management.

Schmidt once again laughed bitterly to see through Wanri's thoughts.

"But I'm really good at that. If you have someone beyond your imagination or common sense, you can't help it."

From now on, Wanli told Schmidt that it was no good, but Wanli sighed.

Thank you very much.

I don't know how many of them are supposed to succeed, but Schmidt will have to nurture those who can really succeed over the next few years.

If one of them were that Doris, it would have been a real struggle.

When Wanri returned such a word, Schmidt's expression turned out to be unspeakable.

"Absolutely. Honestly, I envy Gazelan."

Weak sound of Schmidt like I've never heard it before (?), Wanri asked while rounding her eyes.

"The Adventurer Division has a good person?

"Yeah, there's a member of The Wolf of Fire over there."

Oh, is that so?

Wanri nodded convincingly at Schmidt's words.

If one of Lik's associates is in charge of the Adventurers department, communication should be good from the start.

Even so, Schmidt thought it was easy to choose because there should be a few graduates from the school.

Schmidt said to Wanli, who looked at him sympathetically, with a few bitter smiles back this day.

"Well, there should still be time, so I'll work it out slowly from now on."

That would be nice.

Wanri thought of the members of management while saying so.

At the very least, I felt like climbing an endlessly high mountain just thinking that I had to be drunk by that member.
