Let's Manage The Tower

(1) Strange rumors

Schlein came when the examiner was resting in a relaxing space.

That said, I didn't have any special business to attend to, but I just sewed between child-rearing and work in the village and came to take a break.

For that reason, I didn't talk about anything in particular, but I just kept quiet and relaxed.

When we were with Shreyn, it was almost like this, so we were able to slow each other down without any difficulty.

It's not like Ah Ao's breathing, but if we stay together for so long, even if we have some silent time, it's fine.

Sylvia, with her subtle expression, came to the two of them who had spent such a calm time.

I noticed Sylvia entering the room earlier, and Shreyne leaned her neck.

"Sylvia, what's wrong with that face?

"Ah, Shreyn. Perfect."

Seeing Sylvia with such a preconceived look, Shreyne looked suspicious.

The good news is that I have business to attend to, not to study.

Unexpecting anything, Shreyne looked at Silvia with her neck tilted.

"What happened?

"I'd like to ask you a few questions... do you have any wounds left after you inhale the blood?

In response to the overly abrupt question, Shreyn shook her face slightly before swinging her neck from side to side.

"No, I'm not staying. If there's any trace of it, it's an immature drunk. You didn't have any scratches on your exam, did you?

I knew it.

Sylvia sighed and said to Shreyne, who made a clear statement.

Shreyne looked at her face and heard that something was happening that left such a scar.

"Is there an incident in the tower?

"Not inside, outside, but..."

"Why is that? So why are you here to talk to Sylvia?

It is strange to come to Sylvia in the first place, but as far as I can see, it was inevitable.

When I got here, I couldn't help but listen in silence.

"What's so important?

"No, seriously, I heard some strange rumors."

Sylvia herself was confused, and continued to say that.

"As usual, I was purifying in the fifth level of the temple, but there it is. Recently, there have been many cases of wounds to the neck in the northern city. It wasn't just that, but I wondered why this story came to the tower on the way..."

When she saw Sylvia, Kaosuke and Shreyne nodded.

I don't know what to say, but if there were a lot of casualties, it would be strange to talk to another city (5th floor) about an incident where the victim was injured.

Normally, even if something like that happens, it's supposed to stay in the town.

Sylvia was convinced to hear about it.

"Do you think someone is intentionally spreading the rumor in the tower?

It's just a hunch.

Sylvia answered with a careful but confident face.

Hmm. Guess.

After hearing Sylvia's answer, the examiner nodded bitterly.

Even in my own case, Sylvia's intuition has improved considerably.

She nodded in the same way because she was aware of it.

"Really? If that's what Sylvia is like, it's probably right."

Sylvia's intuition is remarkably sharp when it comes to studying and tower involvement.

Sylvia is saying something is "strange", so it would be better to think of something.

But I see. Wounds to the neck, and in the northern city. "

Shreyn, who felt so disgusted, frowned as she said so.

Sylvia nodded when she saw Shreyn's face.

"Did Shreyne still feel uncomfortable? When I heard the story, I felt like I was targeting a vampire in the tower."

"Ah, that's the thing."

I finally understood what Sylvia was trying to say when I came here.

The tower has never been public since it began accepting vampires in Amamiya towers.

Now, the fact that there are a lot of vampires in the tower is a secret that everyone knows.

Even on the side of Kaiseki Tata, I do not intend to actively spread it, but I do not try to hide anything.

The hierarchy that already has the Vamilinian Castle is moving to a different tower, so it is impossible to go home but to use the transfer gate.

There's only one of those gates, too, so we're careful not to inadvertently let outsiders in or out.

However, as far as the hot spring town is concerned, it is disconnected from a place in the village, so outsiders can enter and exit freely.

Even so, the presence of vampires in the tower makes it impossible to hide them completely.

The most worrying rumor Sylvia has heard at the temple is that it is targeting vampires, not the tower itself.

"What are we going to do about the vampires now? Well, in the meantime, why don't we find out if the rumors are true?

"Does that mean...?

That's what Shreyne asked me with her face that she knew what she was going to say next.

"Perhaps the easiest thing to do is to have Towa look around?

"Is that still the best?"

Talking to Twa means dealing with the country.

Sylvia nodded with a sigh as she was distracted by the mere conjecture.

Sylvia told me that he had heard of Towa using communications equipment like that.

"I see. Is there such a rumor going on?"

"Oh, is that what you're saying still with Towa...?

"Yes, it's not flowing."

Given the current situation, it is likely that it is just rumors and trumpets that are not coming into the king's ears.

Rather, it is unusual for the examiners who are trying to deal with Sylvia firmly simply because they are concerned.

I don't normally think about using a national organization for such reasons in the first place.

"Well, that's why I'll leave it up to Towa to find out more."

"I see. Sure, I think we should check it out."

"Oh, that's what Towa thinks."

"I'm not as good as everyone, but I have a bad feeling about it."

Asuke was only able to give back a bitter smile to Towa, who said that his judgment would be subtle whether he praised it or not.

Anyway, Kaiseki talked to Towa and decided to temporarily leave the matter of rumors to the state.

By waiting for the report, the examiners put the story on hold.
