Let's Manage The Tower
(3) Underground cities
The home of Iglid, the main house, is underground.
In other words, an underground city, the problem is that we don't know where the city is.
According to one theory, no matter where you dig underground, you can't even find a city.
The reason for this lies in the magic Iglid uses.
Earth World (?), which is completely different from the theory of magic in that it does not simply shorten the distance.
Then, if you ask me what exactly is going on, I don't know at all, so I can't control it.
However, because of these circumstances, Iglid, the weakest species, has been able to continue to exist.
Anyway, with such magic, Iglides can appear anywhere in the world, vertically and horizontally.
With his home town of Iglid in front of him, Kaiseki sighed with admiration.
"--This is the home of Iglid. Thinking about the place, is it spectacular?
Definitely.
Shreyn responded with the same expression as the examiner.
Under the eyes of the auxiliaries, there was one city where Iglid lived.
From now on, we have to go down a slightly longer staircase, which is not a big deal compared to previous distances.
Rather, the problem was the city.
Even if it's a city, Lang, who has guided us so far, is about 10,000 people.
Still, given it's underground, it's incredibly large.
Incidentally, it seems that there are not only cities here, but also several others.
It seems that Lang said it was cloudy, so I didn't know specifically about the exam aid.
If you know exactly how many cities there are, it will tell you exactly how many iglids there are.
It is only natural that Lang should be cautious.
Of course, I also understood it properly and stopped penetrating deeply.
Furthermore, it is not only the size of the city that impresses the examiners.
One of the reasons for this was the city ceiling.
"How the hell is that shining?
As I followed Florian's gaze, I turned my back on you.
There was a source of light that could be called a huge fluorescent lamp.
It seems to be nearly ten meters in size by visual inspection.
However, given that one of those light sources covers the city's light, it may be better to say that it is small.
As Florian said, the light source keeps light sticking to the underground ceiling.
The impression of Kaiseki is that it is a fluorescent lamp, but I don't even know what principle it shines with, just like the magic that has been walking here.
I don't feel any heat from that light source in the first place.
There is hardly anything that comes to mind when it comes to light sources that do not emit heat.
I was looking at the light source for a while, but I shook my neck to the left and right before answering.
"There's too much I don't understand. It's fundamentally different in the first place."
That's true, too.
Florian didn't ask the question with the expectation that the exact answer would come back.
I just said what I thought strangely.
It was only about five minutes before the examiners stopped at the entrance to the city.
Pausing all the time does not relieve the doubt.
I fully understood that, so I looked at the town from above with the feeling of seeing a little tourist attraction.
Lang knew that, but in the meantime, he just kept silent and waited for the examiners to move.
The downstairs on the edge of the cave were ridiculously numbered.
The examiners who went down the stairs were greeted by other Iglids in a slightly wider place at the bottom.
There was something like a gate to welcome the examiners, and it was decorated neatly and wonderfully, just like the Iggrid of Art.
Welcome Gate (?) was brought together by about ten Iglids, each of whom was introduced by Lang as a representative.
That doesn't mean that all the delegates are gathered, and it seems that some of them were not able to come, and some of them didn't want to come from the beginning.
Naturally, there are representatives who are opposed to coming to this underground world.
Still, there's a good reason Iglid is accepting the scholars, but they know it a little bit more.
However, I somehow understand that the auxiliaries are moving at a time when the goddesses are moving.
Anyway, the representatives gathered here welcomed the examiners.
"No, I didn't think you were going to welcome another species here, but welcome aboard."
"Everyone knows they're coming today. Let's just relax."
Otherwise, the delegates said welcoming words one after the other, but I couldn't remember all the words when it was the last.
Apparently, Iglid seemed to be in a similar position to each other, and it was customary to speak up indiscriminately.
Well, it's rare for so many delegates to come together.
Anyway, the examiners, who received words from the representatives, started walking straight towards the center of the town.
There is a mansion where the scholars will be staying for some time to come.
Moreover, for some reason, the mansion is not an iglid specification, but a standard for ordinary human beings.
"I didn't expect that mansion to be used, but I was saved without crushing it."
That was the representative of the town where the examiners were now.
According to the representative, the mansion had been in existence since the beginning of the town.
However, there is nothing left in the remaining literature or oral traditions about what purpose the mansion was built for or used for.
Listening to the history of Iglid, the scholars arrived safely at the mansion.
