Carlson, director of Lexton Energy, frowns and stares at the man in front of him.

“They're digging behind us? That's what you've been doing since the beginning. Why would you make a report like that? ”

“These guys are different. ”

Carlson's expression remained steady.

“Investigate at the same time? What's that supposed to mean? ”

Carlson looked at the man with a strange look on his face.

“I'm impressed you found that out. ”

“I was lucky. I stumbled upon something strange, and I looked into it, and I found it. ”

Carlson snorts.

“The black market guys are coming after us? Do we really need to care about that? ”

The man thanked me and went out with a meaningful smile.

I don't know who he was, but he wasn't a regular guy. If you knew there was a connection between Lexton's energy and the DMChemical.
