Life with a Tail

41.5 The Promised Victory

One day, a large number of people, young and old, were sitting in a chair in a room where they said it was noon but closed all the windows and curtains and only had minimal lights on.

In that situation, which is arguably unusual, one man, sitting opposite a large number of people, moved.

"Then I'd like to start with this."

A voice that is never loud but passes well.

"First of all, the number of people..."

Apparently it's some sort of meeting, but not long after a man supposedly a representative starts talking, an old man starts to raise his hand and speak.

"Don't worry about that. We have already rotated and have made arrangements so that we can turn it around in the best number of people"

"That's right, Ong. It's very reliable. Does that mean more of a factional balance?

"Even with respect to you. We didn't exactly get even every day, so in a few days, we're going to make it average."

"Excellent. It means I'm worth the appointment, too."

The representative man nods satisfactorily, urging the man known as Ong to take his seat.

"Please wait. I'd like to get a final confirmation of the time per capita."

"Whoa, that's important too. How long in the plan?

"We have it organized in about twenty minutes..."

"Hmm...... Fine, so I'll make plans."

Is there any further confirmation, Weng took his seat as it was.

"Yes, I would like to ask you to raise the unit price of the item just a little this week"

I get a slight twitch. No more boulders, and other voices begin to be heard.

"No, not necessarily anything. However, when you go at this rate, the payment seems a little tougher. Then…"

That's not good, I'm getting more dizzy, etc. going away.

Then the earlier monarch stood up and raised his voice.

"Be quiet!...... Chairman (...), how much exactly?

"As planned earlier, one silver coin per capita should be enough."

"Got it. Everybody, did you hear that? We can maintain the status quo by issuing one silver coin per person. Why don't we have a drink here for them?"

Weng's drinks and whether he was satisfied with the explanation now, the temper has subsided.

In part, I have heard that I need to ask for an increase in pennies… etc.

"Well, the plan is as it is now. Are there any other reports from you guys?

A woman raises her hand and speaks.

"There have been rumors lately that someone has been following them."

A variety of reports, suggestions, etc. were also issued by the participants afterwards, and the meeting continued until the evening.

"Good luck to you tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, Congo Tomoyolosik…"

……

"It's a shame there aren't Natsuki and the others, but Phil and the others are cute too"

"Thank you, Grandpa"

Phil taking orders for his regular grandfather as Nico.

"Well, it helps to ask for something that's expensive for the right number of customers these days."

"Well, it's easier than it was a while ago, and the sales are just fine"

"So it's just too good, isn't it something uncomfortable?

We're both busy there because Natsuki and Ruti are off, but we seem to have enough room for a little conversation.

Customers who come to the store regularly (...) and who leave the store regularly (...).

... maybe there are things in the world that you shouldn't know.
