107. To Serra

When I got home, Yurika and Elena were preparing breakfast for me, so I ate breakfast. When I finished eating breakfast, I told Elena and the others to go to Serra's house in order to finish what Louis had asked me to do.

When I got to Serra's house, I knocked on the door quickly. Then I heard a reply from inside and after a while, Sera's mother came out.

"Oh, you were definitely Lena, right?

"Yes, that's right. I've got some business for Sera-san."

"If it's Serra, she's doing the laundry outside. I think it's time for you to come back up and wait?

"No, it's not a big deal, so I'd like to go to a crisis. Where are you?

"I think I'm drying the laundry around the back of the house. If I hadn't been there, I might still be on the river."

"I see. Thank you very much."

"Don't worry about it. Besides, you don't have to change your mind.

"I see. I'd like to be careful from now on."

That's what I said, and then I went behind the house, as Serra's mother said. That's how I got to the back of the house, but there was no sign of Serra.

"... being away means you're still on the river, right?

Looking around, I found footprints heading somewhere. Since the footprints weren't so big, I thought it was probably Serra's footprints, and I walked towards the one with the footprints.

Then I heard a voice that sounded familiar as I walked along my footsteps.

"Is this voice possible, Barbara?

Moreover, the voice was heard from the person with the footprints. I had a bad feeling that I was rushing along with my footsteps, and there was Serra and Barbara.
