Chapter 1666: Let Me Hit You Hard

"Boom!"

With a heaven-shaking blast, surging Purple Light exploded outward, scattering all the lightning.

Qin Yi’s figure emerged.

The Thunder Beast’s eyes suddenly bulged round, looking a bit comical, as if it hadn’t expected this little runt to actually survive.

"Roar!"

The Thunder Beast let out a Thunder Shock–like howl at Qin Yi, but no lightning sprayed out.

Qin Yi let out a cold laugh. "What a fine brute. Let me see just how strong you really are."

He formed a Sealing with one hand.

Purple Light roiled, and a Purple Giant Blade over ten zhang long appeared within the storm zone.

Qin Yi’s fingers turned into a blade, slashing down through the air.

"Boom!"

Wind rolled and clouds surged as the massive Purple Blade cleaved down.

The Thunder Beast’s body was simply too huge to dodge; it was struck squarely on the back by the Purple Blade.

In that instant, savage lightning surged from the Thunder Beast’s body. With a thunderous boom, the giant blade was directly shattered.

But the Thunder Beast roared in fury, its colossal body flipping over in the air from the blow, plummeting downward, quickly swallowed by the tumbling black clouds.

Qin Yi did not move. He was waiting for the Thunder Beast to reappear.

This Thunder Beast was far stronger than he had imagined. That God Slaying Blade just now had only knocked it down; it hadn’t actually hurt it.

What a monstrously strong beast.

Sure enough, an enraged roar rose from within the black clouds below; the clouds parted, and the Thunder Beast, like a mountain, charged straight toward Qin Yi.

Qin Yi sneered. Let’s see just how strong your power really is.

"Boom!"

The sonic boom was deafening as Qin Yi actually turned into a streak of light and rushed at the Thunder Beast.

Seeing Qin Yi crash toward it, the Thunder Beast opened its bloody maw and bit down at Qin Yi in one gulp.

Calling it a "bite" was giving Qin Yi face; in truth it was a swallow, because before that bloody maw Qin Yi was far too insignificant.

Qin Yi did not slow, and like a streak of light, he slammed hard into one of the Thunder Beast’s teeth.

"Crack!"

The beast’s fang, as thick as a thigh and nearly a meter long, was directly smashed off by Qin Yi.

Qin Yi himself was sent tumbling back by the shock, his blood and Qi surging wildly.

The Thunder Beast let out a furious roar, its voice laced with pain, and its massive body was blasted backward.

Relying purely on brute force, Qin Yi had actually knocked back a Thunder Beast as large as a mountain.

Seeing this, Qin Yi’s confidence soared.

After this breakthrough, his combat strength was several times more ferocious than before; otherwise right now he’d only be fit to run.

If he ran into that shabby old man again now, even without the Eye of Righteous and Evil, Qin Yi was confident he could defeat him.

"Boom!"

A gigantic black shadow split the black clouds and hacked straight down toward Qin Yi, scattering even the lightning.

What the hell is that?

Qin Yi raised his hands, both palms slapping out as surging Purple Light erupted wildly.

"Boom!"

The rolling Purple Light was directly blown apart by the black shadow’s strike.

In his urgency, Qin Yi’s hands transformed like Purple Crystal Stone; both palms lifted up, as if holding up the sky.

"Bang!"

The black shadow was enormous, yet it was forcibly caught and held up by Qin Yi’s hands.

Only then did Qin Yi see clearly—it was the Thunder Beast’s tail.

His own body was pressed downward, falling several meters before he managed to stabilize.

Qin Yi’s arms trembled; this Thunder Beast’s strength was absurdly great.

"Boom!"

Surging Purple Light swept out from Qin Yi’s body. His blood boiled within, and his bones and meridians erupted with dazzling golden light.

With a furious shout, Qin Yi clasped the Thunder Beast’s massive tail; the veins on his arms bulged in an instant as he actually swung the Thunder Beast up.

Thankfully the black clouds covered everything; the people on the flying ship couldn’t see what was happening outside, or they’d be scared stupid.

Qin Yi roared and directly flung the Thunder Beast flying.

"Roar!"

A wrathful roar with killing intent towering to the heavens even made the rolling storm and thunder pause for a moment.

The Thunder Beast had been enraged.

It wheeled around and charged at Qin Yi again, opening its mouth to unleash surging lightning.

Qin Yi snorted coldly and fired off a flurry of punches. Purple Light Fist Marks shot from his fists, swelling in the wind until they were as large as millstones.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

The storm churned, lightning flashed and thunder rumbled.

Surging lightning was blasted apart by Qin Yi’s three punches.

"Whoosh!"

The Phoenix Feather wings unfurled on Qin Yi’s back; with a single flap of his twin wings, he was already above the Thunder Beast, hammering down a series of punches. The Fist Marks swelled in the wind, smashing into the Thunder Beast’s back without any flourish.

The Thunder Beast roared furiously, its massive body blasted into a tumble in midair, plummeting down.

Qin Yi stuck to it like a shadow, circling around its colossal form and firing punch after punch.

Yet Qin Yi discovered a pathetic truth: he could shatter mountains with a single punch, but he still couldn’t truly injure the Thunder Beast.

This guy’s defensive power was terrifyingly strong. Every Fist Mark could tear apart steel, yet couldn’t even damage the Thunder Beast’s skin. The black Lei Wen all over its body dissolved a portion of the force each time.

Damn, an ant trying to shake an elephant.

Qin Yi didn’t want to admit it, but the facts proved that purely relying on fists and feet, he simply could not harm the Thunder Beast.

Fine! I’ll give you something vicious.

Qin Yi formed Seals with both hands; streak after streak of Purple Light roamed through the sky, instantly condensing into a vast Star Map.

On the Star Map, lightning flashed and thunder rolled, storms surged.

Beneath the Star Map, it was peaceful, making one feel as though they stood beneath the starry heavens.

The Thunder Beast lived within storm and lightning; it should be seeing the starry sky for the first time, and it couldn’t help but stare wide-eyed.

Its round eyes blinked and flickered, looking actually a bit dumb-cute, dumb-cute.

Qin Yi shook his head. What was he thinking? This thing was a Thunder Beast, the fiercest of the Fierce Beasts, and he was actually finding it delicate-featured and dumb-cute, dumb-cute. He’d really gone mad.

He stretched out a finger and plucked the air.

"Boom!"

Heaven and earth trembled as a great star plunged down, transforming into a Fire Meteor halfway through its descent, smashing toward the Thunder Beast.

The Thunder Beast sensed danger; its fur stood on end like steel needles, and it raised its head in a furious roar as a bolt of lightning spewed from its mouth.

"Boom!"

An earth-shattering explosion.

The lightning collided with the Fire Meteor and actually detonated it.

In an instant, lightning swept up waves of fire, madly rolling outward. Even the black clouds were refined away, and a vacuum zone several thousand meters wide appeared around them. But it didn’t last long before the tumbling black clouds surged back in, reforming into the Storm Zone.

"Interesting!"

Qin Yi smiled and reached out, plucking at the tottering great star again.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

Three great stars linked into a line and crashed down.

"Roar!"

The Thunder Beast roared, like a dragon raging through cloud seas, its baleful might towering to the heavens.

It opened its maw and unleashed surging thunder light.

"Boom!"

With a heaven-shaking blast, the first Fire Meteor was destroyed by the lightning.

Then another earth-shaking explosion—the second Fire Meteor was destroyed.

But the third pierced through the lightning storm, smashing directly into the Thunder Beast’s back and exploding with a deafening boom as storm and fire waves swept out.

The Thunder Beast let out a muffled howl, its voice laced with pain. Its massive body tumbled as it fell from midair, quickly swallowed by the black clouds, vanishing from sight.

Qin Yi did not pursue. He couldn’t stray too far from the flying ship; if he lost his sense of direction in this storm, by the time he found his way out, Lang Ya and the others might already have been delivered to the Netherworld Clan and refined into Puppets.
