Living in this World with Cut & Paste

Episode 07: Oak, Again

It's only before lunch, and I think I'll head out and hunt the oak soon.

Believe me, I want to reward you for leaving the storage bag first. [M]

The orc habitat is pretty far back in the woods, but some of them will be alone and urry like the guy they just did.

There's a big storage bag, so I hope I can hunt some ravens and sheep.

Once I get home, I'll take the dried meat from yesterday's leftovers and head back to the woods.

I guess the morning gatekeeper took turns, turning into a different person.

This gatekeeper is familiar, too, so I was glad he called out to me, "Be careful" when he sent me out.

I was able to get into the woods in a good mood for these little things to energize me.

As we proceeded to the back of the woods, as in the morning, the raspberry appeared several times, but I guess I got the hang of it in the fight against the oak.

Take it down lightly and throw it in the storage bag.

After hunting about three rabbits, I discovered a new monster.

Forrest Crowler, it's a potato worm.

Name: Forest Crowler

Race: Crowler

Gender: None

[Skills]

Auxiliary magic and speed reduction

Oh? He's got magic, this guy.

Quickly, let's take it away.

Then let's knock it down.

I must have been caught off guard, no, I must have been chronic.

He said there's no way he can beat a potato worm like this when he knocked down an oak...

Stand directly in front of the Crowler and set up a dagger.

And use [leg strength enhancement/small] to reduce the distance at once.

He swung up his dagger, then just poked him, and when he thought so, he spit something out of his mouth.

It was already too late when I retreated because I thought it was bad, and something that was thrown up hit me under my right leg.

"Wow."

No pain, no pain, but my right leg was tangled with something like a white thread.

And the thread-like thing was a strong adhesion, and it stuck me on the ground.

"Oh, my legs are moving."

I try to move my legs in a hurry, but I'm not scared at all.

And he hit the gap where my consciousness was focused on my feet.

"Ouch."

And he bites my arm with a sharp tooth I never thought he would.

"Ghaaaaaaaa"

Shit, shit, shit, we have to do something.

I wield a dagger, but my foot doesn't move as well as I think, so the stomping doesn't work and it doesn't hit me at all.

He spits out more like a thread as he makes such an upset.

Now I hit my body.

I move visibly and badly.

That's right... [Magic/Wind] Hey!

I unleashed the magic of the wind, several of which hit me, and green blood erupted from the crower.

While bathing in that blood, he activated [AUTO ARM] and protruded his dagger with all his might.

The protruding dagger hits between his eyebrows and pierces the base of the dagger.

He fell to the ground slowly as it was, like he managed to take it down.

"... thanks for your help..."

I wonder what I was thinking. [M]

I did get a bunch of skills and may have gotten stronger than before.

But what's a freshly grown hunter tour?

I only managed to win because I fought carefully to defeat the orcs.

Chronic, there's no way you can win a fight against a good cut.

It's a potato worm, so it was done to this extent, but if this was an oak......

Let's reflect a lot, and let's inscribe that I'm half public.

Otherwise, I would have lost my life sooner or later.

Fighting Crowler was a good lesson.

I take a look at my situation now, with such reflection in my mind.

It's green with clowler fluid all over your body, I don't feel good about boulders.

And there are white thread-like objects wrapped around the right leg and the entire body that Crowler spit out.

If we don't do something about this yarn first, there's nothing we can do.

[Cut] is used to cut more and more yarn-like objects out of the body and feet.

"This yarn? could also be for sale, take it home"

With that being the case, I'm going to put it in a storage bag for whoever your father left me.

I'm going to put the trinkets in here and keep the big guy in a new bag.

Then, at the same time, take out the potion and keep it sprinkled on the arm bitten by the crowler.

The wound slowly occludes as it smokes out with Joo-joo.

"Well, I'm glad you brought the potion with you."

The potion I had is the cheapest one, but it costs a lot.

It was just the one I kept when I lived a critical life.

If I can afford the money, I'll have to buy it from the alchemist...

Hmm? Alchemy? I had it, didn't I?

[Alchemy]: A technique of formulating various materials and creating new substances. The more proficient you become, the more effective you can create.

Oh, that's just alchemy!

Aren't you going to create a potion?

[Lower Potion]: Potion with less effect. It can be created by combining herbs with clean water.

It's about to say beautiful water, so I guess not normal water......

If you dare to see the herb, let's collect it.

You might want to show me where the alchemist's brother makes it.

All right, then dismantle the crowler, all the way.

I don't know what you can buy away, so let's just take it all home.

I'll still be in the little one's storage bag.

Store the crawler and go back again.

After a short walk, a few ravens came out, so he knocked them down without alarm.

Moving further, he discovered the sheep that were his purpose in the morning.

Name: Forest Matton

Race: The Great Sheep

Gender: ”

[Skills]

Auxiliary Magic/Sleep

[Ability]

Assault

You have the skills you expected, naturally I'll take this away from you too.

Cut the abilities, too, and throw them away.

All right, let's fight without alarm.

Turn around behind you and tap into the [magic/wind] of the must-win pattern.

Of course, hitting, the sheep became bloody in an instant, approaching the rambling sheep without knowing what had happened at once and using [the auspicious arm], tearing them apart with a dagger at once.

The sheep fell in with no hesitation, and the victory or defeat was decided.

Perhaps this sheep would have scattered its life before it could have been translated.

Deconstruct the other monsters before they approach and store them in the sachet.

It's about time we had a drink. Until this morning, this is where we'll be dispersed, but we can still do it because we can afford to store it.

We haven't defeated the pivotal oak yet, so naturally we're only moving forward.

Of course, don't be alarmed. Be careful! It is.

Even then, as he proceeded to the back while defeating a few sheep and ravens, he finally discovered the oak.

Plus, there's three on top.

One at a time, maybe, I don't think it's a problem, but only one of them will get through an ambush.

To open this would be the two auxiliary magic I got earlier.

[Auxiliary Magic/Speed Decrease] [Auxiliary Magic/Sleep].

First, let one sleep in your sleep, if you don't notice there, let the other sleep.

If you don't sleep, hang [auxiliary magic/speed reduction] and knock [magic/wind] in while you're at a distance.

I wonder if it flows after that.

It'd be a lot easier if you slept with two first.

First, hang [AUTO ARM] [Foot strength enhancement/small] [Vision enhancement/medium] beforehand.

Of course, remember to take away your skills and abilities beforehand.

Take as much distance as you can, and anticipate the timing from the rear...... now! [Auxiliary Magic/Sleep]!!

All right, I think I slept. Another [Auxiliary Magic/Sleep]!

... Shit, no, it looks like they got noticed or registered.

As per the maneuver, he runs into two orcs coming towards him while hanging [auxiliary magic/speed reduction].

Refrain the oak, which is slowing down, and roll out the dagger with all your might.

Good, looks like he tore his right arm off. He's screaming out loud.

And then he slams [magic/wind] into the face as he slams into the dull moving guy.

I guess Orc didn't think magic was coming here either, he hit me straight in the face as he aimed.

Now both orcs have been helpful, the movement is monotonous because of anger, and the damage is causing the movement to be poor.

Face crushed oak won't be a problem later, policy will be set on knocking out the cut off oak first.

When I thought so, I suddenly got a huge shock from behind.

"Guh."

Looks like the Orc fist that set the target hit me straight in the back first.

While my feet flutter, I get up and take a little distance.

Shoot the [magic/wind] at his feet again and pack the distance again for the frightened moment.

And he wielded his dagger with all his might, cutting off the oak whistle at once.

He screams of the severed demon, crushing the fallen oak in the face on his ass and wielding the stone axe he has in his doom.

You don't need to get close to the blind person, so you streak [magic/wind] out of the way, stopping your breath root.

Now, the rest is just the guy sleeping.

I have trouble getting up all of a sudden, so I take the distance again and lay [Auxiliary Magic/Sleep] over it.

He made sure he didn't move and poked his dagger out of his back to his heart position with all his might.

I struggled, but managed to defeat the three orcs safely. I walked into the spot.
