Log Horizon

019 End of Game (top)

Was there a recoil that was repressed in the old century?

Even though it is Japan that is the model, the plant reproduction power in this world is flourishing and bright. Seeing asphalt peek from all over, I guess even this forest road was formerly paved, but that's soil and rotten soil, and the green pressure pushing it from both sides, making it look like a sooty tree tunnel.

So the landscape, whose greenery was interrupted, is vegetarian.

"Wow."

Minori cheers without my knowledge.

That was the same with about thirty of my companions around me.

"Hi-ha-ha! Awesome! Awesome!!

As soon as his brother Toya leads the way, he runs the horse down the hill from side to side.

A strong wind, including the tide, ran up that same ramp and blew on the minnows. The dark green slopes were headed for the coastline from the one we had just crossed. What is the name of the river that thickly crosses your vision?

The hills overlooking the coast beyond it are lined with a number of windmills about a dozen metres high, although we do not know if they are giant remains of the old century or if they are still in operation.

Is there a white sandy beach on the coast?

From this place, which should still be about ten kilometers away, it is very difficult to ask how the sea shines bright and detailed it is.

"Ho ho! Guys, don't be too happy. About the early days, the camping place, and the evening meal skips!

"Mm-hmm. You guys can skip the mess on your journey!"

Mix Marielle's voice back with her direct line.

When the new players answered cheerfully, they re-spanned the horses that were descending on Forest Road and started going down the hill in two rows.

Zantreef region.

It's a real-world area around the peninsula.

In this world downsized by the Half-Guire Project, the straight distance from the city of Akiba is less than fifty kilometers. Three days have passed since departure in this journey of the world, where devastation and monsters also manifest themselves.

"Are you okay? Minori Chi."

"Ha, ha."

Slimming leakage blocks the day of the leakage is the same guild as Minori, Nyatai from The Horizon of Records (Log Horizon). In that narrowed and gentle eye, Minori hurries back to respond positively.

If I did my gaze, I would also look back at the direct succession of Guardian Warriors near the beginning of the line. Minori shrugs her hands small trying to reassure her. It was very reassuring to be surrounded by fellow guilders in this way.

Minori even remembers that the guild is not the same as the "Hermelon" and so on.

That said, this line does not consist solely of the "Horizon of Records". It is a mixed area, formed from a large number of guilds. The total number of people is about sixty.

People are also dispatched from large alliances crowned with Akiba such as IOM, the Black Sword Knights, and the Westwind Brigade.

Some of the parties among the participants should be on the ground first, so we were here around 35 of the main unit, but eventually we were going to be able to rendezvous at our destination.

What happened was Marielle, he said.

Minori wasn't on the spot, but this is what a good old friend, Fifty Bells, said.

- We want to go to the sea. I ate shaved ramen and curry rice at sea. I ate it and I ate it!! Hey, hey! No? Can't you? Kaiko?

And Marielle, the Alliance Master of the Three Moons, said.

(That's kind of like knowing...)

Minori belongs to the Horizon of Records, but only a few moments before getting in there, there was a time when she was sleeping at the Alliance House of the Three Moons. It is now a hasty day immediately after the liberation of the evil guild Harmeln, which has disappeared from this world.

Minori was kind to the "Three Moons Alliance" in that life, as well as taking care of members such as Henrietta and Xiaolong, starting with Marielle. So it's a routine sight I've seen many times that Henrietta makes a troubled face when Marielle says so, and I can easily imagine it.

(Must have glistened on the couch)

Thinking of it that way, Marielle, holding a big cushion to her chest and bumping her legs, floats behind her brain and smiles.

Of course, this world is free.

I don't even need a lot of money if I'm just going to live. Minori also knows that many players continue to make diligent efforts "to return to the original world," but that effort is unlikely to be overnight nonetheless. I don't even hear rumors of tips or resolution threads being found.

So if someone comes up with the idea that they want to go on vacation in the summer, there's nothing to hold it back...... should be.

But Marielle and the March Alliance were in a special position at the moment. In June, Marielle, one of the eleven guilds in the Round Table Conference, an organization that deals with the autonomy of the city of Akiba, founded on the proposal of Shiloe, is one of the eleven councillors.

Since its inception, the Round Table Conference has also been at the centre of the city's discourse in Akiba and is in a position to lead the reforms.

If Marielle, one of its chosen members, were two or three days old, wouldn't it still be a bad idea to go on vacation on a weekly basis? Anyway, it's only been two months since the Round Table Conference was established. It is a time when new information is flying like every day and the city of Akiba is felt to change from moment to moment.

In the three major producer guilds, mainly IOM, steam engine experiments were in full swing. When the charcoal formula originally conceived was changed to the Summoner (Summoner) manipulated fire lizard (Salamander) formula, the device became compact at once, which became the technical breakthrough.

In addition to that, new discoveries and plans come up every day for the past two months: ovens and water supplies are designed to support new ways of cooking, clothing of a kind never seen before (mainly underwear) is developed, and huge hot springs appear throughout the city.

At that important time, there is nothing wrong with the outside world for councillors to be away for a long time (and on vacation)....... but Marielle didn't give up, she said Henrietta or Xiaolong and suggested the whole thing.

That was the title "Summer sleepover to train the new players I left behind," he said.

"Around here, it looks like a field."

As Nyantai said, the downhill from the low mountains eventually became a path surrounded by staggered fields. Pumpkins, aubergines, tomatoes, cucumbers... are the trees over there fruits? Sweet aromas mix in the wind.

"Minory! Minori is a pear! Awesome!

"Already, if I TOUGH!!

From the road, Towya cheered as she was climbing a step-by-step rustic stone wall. Since when haven't you eaten pears? I can't remember a bit, but it does look wonderful and delicious.

"You can't take that because you're all making it. Hey!

and scolding Toya, Minori continues to think.

- Summer sleepover to train the new players.

It was an arbitrary act by Shiloe and the others that freed the new players from "Harmeln" in the first place and had nothing to do with the Roundtable Conference. When the Round Table Meeting was established, it was officially explained that the punishment for Harmeln was already over.

But that's also a delicate time, and the rookie player support itself is an issue that was also picked up at the Roundtable Conference.

Therefore, this offer of the March Alliance was accepted by the Round Table Conference. Nineteen of the 35 rookie players who had left Harmeln had joined the team, so to speak, the Tri-Smoon Alliance is also a training guild for rookie players.

However, there were also new players who did not participate in the March Alliance even after exiting from the same "Harmeln".

They were mainly players of production job aspirations who joined a highly specialized production guild.

Also, there were some new players who were lucky in a way, who had not participated in "Hermeln" from the start. They were participating in various guilds in the city of Akiba.

It would be unfair not to speak up to new players elsewhere who said so, if they were to have summer accommodation with the approval of the Round Table Conference. By natural judgment, new players whose whereabouts are known were sent a letter asking for the certainty of participation, and the city square in Akiba was notified that "summer accommodation will be held as part of support measures for new players below the fortieth level".

Then this time, there is also the problem of mentions between guilds.

The opinion was expressed that if the event was to be approved by the Round Table Conference, the burden could not be left to the "March Alliance" alone.

Get out a new player to work out, but refuse to work on the deduction. - There are also councillors who cannot be cloudy in their position. Anyway, if that's a guild with a total of about ten people, in the case of a major guild with forces like a hundred, two hundred people, you can't dress up without sending one or two of the pulls.

At the same time as the deduction rate, aid such as food and clothing was also provided, and donations such as new equipment, which would automatically be needed if the level increased, were to be made on a large scale.

In the meantime, the story swept up on its own, resulting in a 60-member large area… is the whole story of the beginning of the summer accommodation, Minori heard from the Fifty Bells.

Soon the slopes slowed, entering the desolate rubble towns of a loose hilly area that seemed to have been downtown in the old century. Speaking of ruins, there are many bungalow buildings around this part of the old century, it must have been an agricultural work area. Wooden homes weather faster than buildings and other concrete buildings.

There is no visible building wreckage, to the extent that decaying houses remain here and there. Much of it is buried in weeds.

The peninsula part of the Zantreef region appeared to be a natural environment with forests, mountains and hills with gentle ups and downs.

The wide river that has been in sight for some time now is called the Zantreef Grand River. Around the river pouring into the blue sea, it seems, in the old century, it was called the Tsuruko. The Pacific Ocean in August was beautiful to blend with the blue of the sky at the bottom in this other world.

When you reach the banks of the Great River, there are several cabins built there.

Looking around, the kind of huts seemed to be scattered many along the river. According to my brother and his companions, who have been full of energy and have made advance reconnaissance, those huts seem to be a facility to whisk and pull up small fishing boats.

In this region, where the sea is close, you will go down the river and go fishing.

Maybe it's wisdom that if you canoe into a cabin at a point that goes back a little, the ocean won't be damaged if it gets rough. Marielle tells me that some towns where fishermen live live along the river and a little closer to the mouth of the river.

And it came to pass, as if I were 500 m away from the great river, that Minori and the others, who had bypassed the woods of the fir trees, had arrived. Unusual around here by the pond, the ruins of reinforced concrete stand without excessive obsolescence.

"Wow! This is school!

As Toya said, it was like an old century school building. If I thought so and reviewed it, the flatlands stretching out to the front of the ruins would have been the ground. There is no longer a shadow to see the gold net of the fence or the gymnasium that comes with it, but certainly such a shadow remains.

"Oops! Mina! It's been awhile since today, this is our bunk! As we had previously divided the squad, we clean three classrooms today, three from the eastern edge of the ground floor. I plan on sleeping with twenty people in one room.... If you want to make room, you can clean it tomorrow and make it better!

Marielle shouts out with that cheerful, fearless smile.

Out of the school building came members of a major guild, who were ahead of schedule with advance reconnaissance, and started working mixed up with new players.

"This evening's meal is at the barbecue on the ground! So don't hang out with lunch bread at noon. Then, uh, three squads. and" cook "skills with us, buy out to the village! I'll go say hello to the village chief, too, so don't be rude. The departure is in half an hour. Let's get this operation started!

Marielle and the others, the food procurement unit, were walking down the country road, where the sound of the semi was so loud.

Each of Marielle's rookie players proudly lowers the Summoning Flute from their neck or hips. This is an item to invoke the horse, the rider. Of course, there are many different kinds of "summoning flutes", and what they have is just an item that calls for rides that don't perform too well for a few hours a day.

But I guess it's a valuable magic item for new players. Each of them wore it proudly.

This summer accommodation was distributed to new players as an advance support item.

But now Marielle and the others are on foot to town.

Walking paths Many (earthlings) are farming.

I don't even want to make him more alert than all of a sudden in large numbers, so instead of taking a walk, he's on foot to town.

Of course, each of us has the summoning flute, so we'll be riding the horse home on the way home. I think there will be a lot of luggage. However, the distance to the town is approximately three kilometers. It won't take an hour to walk, and I wanted to check the surrounding terrain while I was there.

"Mm-hmm. You smell good!

Around, there is a hint of pear.

"That's right. If there's anything good about pears, I'd like you to do it."

"Right, I want a pear!

Nyata, who has likewise followed at the rate of food procurement spots, and Serara, who refrains next to them. Plus Minori snorts modestly. Also, a few new players who have chosen the "cook" seem to deliberately prescribe this for summer vegetables when viewing the field.

In the summer sun, tomatoes and eggplant shine like gems. Tomatoes look like garnets and eggplant like onyx. I can't help but twinkle the droplets and they look delicious.

In the old cooking methods, no one cared about the good or bad ingredients, etc. Whether it is slightly small or numb, it would be rotten if we talked about extremes, but if we could confirm the name of the ingredient item on the menu, it was because the post-synthesis dish had no effect at all.

Both the tomato salad made with fresh tomatoes and the tomato salad made with supple tomatoes are perfectly the same dish (of course, the flavor becomes a damp pancake) and there is no error there.

However, the current new cooking method, which cooks ingredients with both hands of the cook, does not allow you to roughly choose ingredients. A dish made of rotten tomatoes can only be cooked with rotten ingredients wherever you go. Of course, the skill of the cook is important, but it is necessary to prepare fresh, large or well-shaped ingredients to make delicious dishes.

"I'd love to try pizza baking with that!

"Tomato sauce, too."

From that point of view, the newcomers (cooks) seemed to walk with an interesting view of the field.

It was only a short time after lunch that I could see the farmers of the "earthlings" resting and sleeping after lunch in the shade of trees everywhere. Say hello to them who sometimes sweep their hands and ask them what vegetables they are picking. Or on my way home, I make an appointment to buy it and go.

Karasin of the Eighth Shopping District should be greeting the town in advance. Whether the rumors were spreading or not, the farmers of the "Landlords" were equally friendly.

"This is going to be a good vacation."

Marielle tells you in a grumpy tone, and Nata corrects "It's a summer sleepover." The thought of hanging on to this trip of Marielle is well discovered by rumors that have spread to members, but as an elderly person, I guess there is something like a duty to do once and for all.

But the attention was hardly serious, and it was at the level of clinging.

The town was near the mouth of the Zantreef Grand River.

Have you been alert to water damage, standing a little further from the banks of the river?

The land around here is flat, and all over the soothing earth is divided into squares like tiles, with fields there, fields here, and orchards there. When I thought the mosaic was getting finer and finer, I was under the impression that huts, warehouses, etc. that would farm tools would show up and at some point have been inside the town.

There is no image of an armed town surrounded by fences or walls, as in the Chivalry story of the Middle Ages.

The town's central street is a thick asphalt road that runs in parallel with the waterways for use, possibly with the old world's national highways as motifs. There are plenty of stone and wooden houses lined up to block the path. Few buildings utilized the ruins of buildings of the old century, as in the city of Akiba, and from what I can see, it looks like only a huge group of warehouses on the river.

Five or six shops with signs could be seen on the street.

According to a story Marielle asked Siloe, "shops" were not included in the view of the village she saw during her journey to Suskino.

Mutual assistance between villagers is fundamental in rural areas based on self-sufficiency and in larger settlements where livestock and agriculture are combined.

I don't need any extra "currency" as long as I live there. I guess that's why we don't need a specialized facility called "Shop". At least that's how Henrietta explained it.

However, this "town of Choushi" is large enough to be called a small town rather than a village. In this class, the meaning of the presence of shops and the like may also emerge.

"Hmm. This is a lot... It's a better place than I imagined."

Nyata leaks that feeling, too.

Of course, it's not comparable to the city of Akiba, but do thousands or so of 'earthlings' live in it? It was a town that would bring that sentiment.

Stopping at the center of a thick street, the following members surround Marielle. Marielle has been told to take good care of her. I feel like a little sister, and I don't feel good about it.

"Eh. Mm-hmm. I don't know. Should I leave the buyout to Chief Nyantai? And then, is it Luxea? I'll give you the money too, so split it up. Talk to me about it and decide what it is. Notes, you bring them, right?

"Of course it is," Nantha contracted.

Marielle nodded at it only once to see her magic back. Upon checking the souvenirs prepared, he looked around at the members slightly. As a matter of form, I intend to go say hello to the mayoral character of this town.

I don't need the number of people because it's just a greeting, but it would be a good idea to take another offering for it to look good.

When I thought about who I should take, I had a look at Minori.

(Yeah, no. She seems like a solid daughter.)

When he opened his mouth, Minori said he would "offer" ahead of him.

Don't worry, my daughter.

For that reason, the line was to be divided.

Looks like the Nyantais are headed for the harbor for now. In a group of warehouses made by the river, offshore fish are apparently sold. Come to think of it, fresh meat is familiar to the adventurers Marielles, but I also feel like I haven't eaten fresh fish lately. Thank you if you have a treat.

"Well, we are."

"Yes, let's go say hello."

She would be the daughter of the solid, but I guess that's still junior high school as we were talking about. Marielle sneezes and turns Minori's head, whose spine is stretched too tight for tension and in a marching position.

(I was taken by Shilobo's toko, but this girl is cute....... hmmm, I might have missed a good deal on this.)

"Oh, uh"

"What? Minori"

"Why do you stroke your head?

"I want to stroke it, so I can take it."

Laughing a little fuzzy minnoli round, the two walk down the town boulevard like their elderly away sisters.

Asking the housewife (the earthlings) who seemed to be carrying her luggage along the way, the mayor meant that she lived in a large two-story mansion at a crossroads just ahead. He's over fifty old men doing a roundup around here, but he says he's a casual person, so don't worry.

"You just have to say hello, right?

"Oh no, say hello, give me a souvenir..."

Marielle bullets into her head what she talks about.

The luggage contains Sacramento liquor brought from the city of Akiba in barrels. It weighs nearly a hundred kilograms. I guess that's impossible to even lift to Marielle if it was meant to be, but it's really hard to have a "backpack" of magic items, so you can walk like a bare hand.

Besides that - let us use the ruins for roughly two weeks. I'm about five kilometers away from town, so I don't think I'll be bothered. He just wants to come to the grocery store once every few days.

"Oh no, say hello, through my in-laws for once. I don't even want to see a grocery store. If you buy from one farmer too many times, you might get into a fight in this town..."

"Oh, right"

"Well, I guess I should just listen to the mayor. After that, talk to the public... if you have this information, I'd like to grab it."

"Information, is...?

"Seya."

Marielle nods.

This world has changed since the Catastrophe. Non-player characters are no longer "earthlings," and it is technically unclear whether they retain the features they had during the "Elder Tail" era.

The "earthlings" who work for the market and banks seem to be doing their job intact, but as in the Round Table Conference, for example, they have hired new clerical personnel, so far different (earthlings) have also been born.

If you assemble the hypothesis, you don't know if the system called Quest, which was important in Elder Tail, is still functioning correctly.

"Quest" is a kind of mission, and the narrative part of "Elder Tail" relied heavily on this "Quest" system. For example, if this is a place like Choushi Town, there should have been some kind of quest, such as "exorcise me because there will be ghosts in the fields off the village” or “I will go to the offshore island to catch fish, so give me an escort."

Although quests can sometimes start with some sort of rare item or location, they often have the starting format of a request from a non-player character.

Now that its big book, the nonplayer character, has become a "grounder," isn't it gradually losing its functionality? The question arises. Assuming that a particular quest, even if it were to function now, would result in the loss of the life of the "Earthlings", the quest might not occur from the next moment on.

- And what I said is that Siroe was afraid, but Marielle herself understandably felt the crisis.

In the "Elder Tail" era, for example, there was a "classic quest" that everyone did.

One of them is a quest in which a magic bag with a weight ignoring effect is rewarded. Starting with Marielle, all veteran players love this bag. Anyway, it's convenient.

If this quest is to be said that you will no longer be able to take it with any kind of clap, this magic bag will not be available to new players. The impact will be greater than you can imagine.

"Shilobo is asked to gather as much information as he can from a variety of concerned children. This town of Choushi, and the" earthlings ". Well, you know, I don't know much about it."

"Really...... That's right."

Minori nodded honestly about whether she was good at anything, too.

"Mr. Siloe, what are you doing by now?"

"Shilofa is Shilofa, let's gather information. No...... or"

Marielle laughs when she dulls at what she notices.

"I don't know if it's going to be the same."

An elegant and glamorous examination is the quartet of strings.

The huge hall is ornamentally decorated, filled with ladies' laughter and gentlemen's whining. Does the customer still come in at 40%?

There are no signs of people in the central part of the hall, just small groups talking here and there, mainly on sofas provided at the walls and round tables for snacks.

It's just before the official start time.

Apparently, this type of party is dominated by enough to be a little late. Especially when you are also a royal or aristocratic, that trend becomes stronger. Siroe gets a small sigh when she asks about that to the service she caught earlier.

(Did you imitate the countryman?)

I don't even know that, because of the sadness of the inexperienced, they arrived a little earlier than time without any disrespect.

The siloes had no choice but to gather on the wall and dampen their creases with drinks on each one.

This is the "Ancient Court of Eternal Ice".

It is a castle built by the ancient Alves just two hours from the city of Akiba. The Ancient Alves are no longer a species of the past in the world of the "Elder Tail" and are supposedly extinct. Excellent magic, he had various skills, but he was forgotten in the course of time. The shadow remains slightly in one of the eight races players can choose from: Half Alv.

The "Ancient Court of Eternal Ice", which exists on the south side of Tokyo in the real world - the equivalent of the harbour district - is a huge building without a husband. Its management is currently carried out jointly by the Easter Alliance of Free Cities.

- The Alliance of Free Cities Eastal.

It is an alliance that governs "East Japan" everywhere in the Old World. This cross-world Japanese server management area is divided into five major countries and cultural areas.

Hokkaido is the "Ezo Empire" in the real world.

The Four Kingdoms are the Duke of Fawland.

Kyushu is a "Ninetail Autonomous Territory".

Take the eastern half of the state to the Free Cities Alliance Eastal.

The West is called the "Holy Empire Westlande."

In the first place, it must have been the thought of a game operator to enjoy a wide variety of adventures, with areas with different ethnic customs and artwork gathering in the Japanese archipelago shrunk by the Half-Guire Project.

Among them, the "Alliance of Free Cities Eastern", with East Japan as its governing domain, was an alliance centered on the urban state. More than twenty forces, known as aristocratic territories and aristocratic cities, are allied against the 'Holy Empire Westlande' in the west.

The number of human beings present in this world is overwhelmingly small compared to that in the old world. That's even if you put the "Earthlings" in your account, which has now swept up to about ten times.

The monster's roaming human territory in this world does not, by any means, make up a large proportion. The area ruled by each of the Lords belonging to the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal is nothing more than a bubbly safety zone in the open wilderness, according to the whole of East Japan.

However few, perhaps around two million "earthlings" will exist on Japanese servers.

The Easter Alliance of Free Cities brings together only its eastern Japanese part, but it will require considerable formats and governance mechanisms.

Its governing mechanism took the form of feudalist aristocratic rule in the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal. In Elder Tail, where medieval European fantasy is the basic worldview, all their lords have named themselves aristocrats.

It is a typical aristocratic image with castles and halls in each, dressed in crowns, capes or tiaras, that dominates the 'earthlings'.

And the Lords of the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal meet once to twice a year in this "ancient court of Eternal Ice" for various political meetings. They may also warm up old relationships, reveal sons and daughters as aristocrats, play horse matches, and enter into kinship.

It is elegant to look at, but on the other hand, it was also true that the "Alliance of Free Cities Eastal" desperately helps each other under the threat of monsters was there.

Built on the position of the Hamariya Palace in the southern part of Tokyo in the old world, the court, supported by magical ice, is therefore used as a place of social and consultation for the "earthlings" aristocracy.

In the great hall of the ancient court of the Eternal Ice Cream, the siloes are everywhere.

"Hmm. That's quite spectacular. This is nervous."

It was Michitaka, a production guild (IOM), who raised his voice to that effect. I guess that word is for real. He looks at the facilities and decorations of the court without hesitation.

"If you think it's all monsters around you, it'll calm you down."

It was Crazy Warrior Crusty who led the battle guild, D.D. Contrary to the image of those two names, he is still dressed brilliantly in tuxedos today in the face of a thoughtful beautiful young man of white.

"Well, it's just you."

Michitaka responds with a laugh of tease.

This one is wearing a tuxedo, and its power is no less than that of Crusty. Originally tuxedo is a western courtesy. The shape of the bone is somewhat more suitable than the thin lines. It was also the perfect sundress for the two warriors.

Head of the city's largest production alliance. He is not only the representative of the largest military-based guild, D.D., but also the autonomous organization of the city of Akiba, the Roundtable Conference.

Considering the purpose of this participation, it has never been over compelling.

"Exactly. You're the only one who calms down better when you were surrounded by monsters. Milord."

That said, I guess Krusty's remarks were too invincible. A long woman holding back by his side whispers as she hands him a small glass of sparkling liquor. She was a member of D.D.D., and Siloe heard the name Reese.

I had expected it at the time I heard the dress code, but if you do poorly, this is a ball. The three delegates who participated from the Roundtable meeting brought their partners to each of the parties, wondering if they needed more than just socializing.

"... my lord"

That's why the little girl who refrains beside the siloe also puts together a great dress. She hung her heartfelt voice on the siloe as if she could not even hear the voices of the two masters of the 11th Alliance of the Round Table.

Shiloe looks down at that akatsuki.

With a height difference of nearly 30 cm, it is inconvenient to be approached at close range to see only the head rather than the expression.

I crouched down to gaze and talk, "Don't treat me like a child, my lord! They say," I have to give up on this now.

"What's up?

"Well, the... My outfit… hehe"

Akatsuki complains with a mosquito ringing voice that he can't imagine from his usual attitude.

I don't know what the hell you're talking about. Siloe shakes his neck.

There's nothing wrong with Akatsuki's outfit. On the contrary, it's pathetic to wake up.

The black and beautiful hair is done, and the small and idle figure is wrapped around the dress. It had a pearlescent tone throughout, but about half of it was dyed turquoise blue from the hem of a fluttering skirt, which blends with pearlescent white as it heads up.

The shade adds so much to the color of her black eyes and black hair that it creates a pristine aesthetic.

"Hmm."

"It's not weird. Rather cute. Beautiful. As much as I want to take it out. No, Shimazu."

(I assure you, now)

It was Henrietta, the proud arm accountant of the "Three Moons Alliance", who stuck his mouth in a baffled gap. This one is dressed like the lady herself, with her honey-colored hair tied up and her neck neatly visible.

She is an overly neat, rigid beauty, but she usually uses clothes (gothic lolitas) that are somewhat biased towards her hobby, based on their appearance. That has a monstrous charm, and some favorites can take it badly, but if you look at an evening dress like today's, its natural elegance was enough to catch your eye.

"Oh, is it? It's hard to keep your weapons hidden."

"Where would you take such a hidden weapon from?"

"Master."

Akatsuki turns to Shiloe's back like trouble.

I hear Siroe's gaze is troubling, but he's not even going to leave Siroe.

(too disciplined for the word "escort," akatsuki)

Henrietta is accustomed to her waist, even as she bakes the care of such a sea urchin. I asked him about his experience with the ball, but he said there was no such thing. He also said it was haphazard to look calm, but from what Shiloe saw, I think he was obsessed with Akatsuki and he just didn't see anything else.

Akatsuki, a beautiful little brunette with a swallow-like impression.

Henrietta, an intelligent beauty with honey-colored hair.

These are the two people who accompanied us as staff of Siloe this time.

In the first place, it will be necessary to talk about why the Siloes are in the Great Hall of the "Ancient Court of Eternal Ice".

That goes back about a month now.

It's about July, when the city of Akiba was exactly like a popcorn that could be played with the fervour of reform.

A single letter arrived at the Round Table Conference was by the Lords of the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal. Written in the name of the lead lord Sergiad-Cowen, it was a request to participate in the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal, as well as an invitation to a conference and a ball at the "Palace of the Eternal Ice".

The Alliance of Free Cities Eastal is an alliance of lords ruling the East Japan region in the Old World. Needless to say, the city of Akiba is one of the cities present in the area.

Rationally, it was only natural that the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal would be in touch more than the autonomy of the city of Akiba had been established. This is one of the developments foreseen by Siloe.

An immediate Round Table Meeting was convened.

It will be the first time that the Shiloes (Adventurers) have been invited to the Landlords (Non-Players) in this manner. Although it was an anticipated situation, the tension that broke into the meeting was nothing small.

- The Alliance of Free Cities Eastal, part of this world's social governance organization, is recognizing the Round Table Conference as part of itself and trying to clarify its position.

The members of the round-table meeting carefully analysed the situation.

What happens if I receive this request?

Perhaps the intention of the request is to acknowledge the "Roundtable Conference", which governs the city of Akiba, as part of the "Alliance of Free Cities Eastal" Lords' Conference. In that case, it would give the lord (in this case, Krusty, the representative of the Round Table Conference) some sort of aristocracy.

On top of that, it is likely that they will be asked to participate in meetings on an ongoing basis in the future. The advantage is to get a channel for massive intelligence gathering and negotiation against (the Earthlings). Will the disadvantage be getting caught up in the politics of the "earthlings"?

What happens if I refuse this request?

At that time, there will be no benefit to be gained in the event of receiving it. In other words, there is one interruption in the negotiating line with the "earthlings" and they cannot participate in the Lords Union. On the other hand, however, I am not caught up in the politics of the "earthlings" either.

Also, the specific downside - driving the anger of the lords, for example, is there going to be a war? The point was also examined.

But that's unlikely, it's the Siloes' guess at the moment.

The city of Akiba is a player town.

Quite a few commercial establishments are in order, and with all this "adventurer" at all, it's impeccable for war. Because war in the real world has developed modern firearms, the high and low levels of individual combat capability of each soldier are no longer a critical element in victory or defeat.

But there is also magic in this fantastic different world, and individual combat capability disparities remain an element that greatly affects the overall fate of the war. I guess it's a world where winning with a single hit or a great victory in the area of operations can have a huge impact on the war as a whole.

Generally speaking, the ability to fight is much lower than that of Adventurers (players). Whether you are a resident of a pioneering village on a fairly dangerous periphery, if you are just a peasant, you can cloud that battle level as high as forty or twelve.

Most peasants and hunters only have levels around ten, and to merchants and women and children, they are around one to five levels at best.

Of course, there are forces of war on the side of the "earthlings".

The lords will have soldiers, knights, and magicians. Is there a place where those armies, which have quite a few, are, to the best of Siloe's knowledge, 50-60 levels in elite soldiers?

In addition, there appear to be "earthlings" who have been granted special abilities like city guards. They are not reaching level 100 with strength, but are using a special armor called "Power Armor" (Moval Armor) to protect a specific zone called the City.

"Power Armor" is an elite, magically engineered armor that delivers magical conduction from demonic squares applied throughout the city, granting high-output magical combat capabilities.

There are also non-player characters with combat abilities that go far beyond them. They are called Ancient Species in the world of Elder Tail. Neither does Siloe know the detailed heritage on this matter, but the "earthlings" seem to regard the "ancient species" as part of themselves, while also paying special attention.

"Ancient Species" - Regardless of its inheritance within the world, its game implications are simple.

The "Earthlings" in this world are set as inferior to the "Adventurers" in many ways.

Adventurers (players) grow more and more by repeating battles. The level rises and multiplies the initial combat capability by dozens of times.

Deadly wounds do not completely disappear, but return to the Great Temple for resurrection. Find or retrieve powerful items from relics and monsters left in various parts of the world to enhance their combat abilities.

From a very ordinary perspective, the Adventurer is a kind of superman.

Of course that's right as a game. Under the RPG system of growth, the situation where almost all the characters that emerge are stronger than themselves, the player, would be humiliating, and it would involve a lot of stress.

As a game, it makes enough sense that the Earthlings are weak. But on the other hand, if we make "stories" in a scenario sense, "superhuman" (earthlings) "will also be necessary as servants.

At a time when "Elder Tail" was a game, countless stories were scattered there as legends and legends in the game, or as a background to adventure, or even as "quests".

There were various stories, but some of them required "heroes" as muscles for the story. For example, "Go help that hero in distress! There will also be a mystery of stories such as

Saving is more about players than it is about being a game, but it involves motivation to play even if the non-player character side that is saved is too low.

For example, in the case of the story of an (Adventurer) who can defeat a dragon that can also reach the 90th level, but goes to help a hero who turned to Rich the Evil Spirit King, that hero is not dressed as a story at the 15th level.

So, "Don't let a weak guy like you come out here like this from the start! Don't fight. It would seem silly to help."

At least he said, "I'm here for reinforcements! Join forces and defeat your enemies!" If you don't have the strength to say, "the" story "won't thrive.

I can predict that such a "request from the designer side to make the story" would have enabled the "ancient species" as a setting.

(Thoughts have come a long way...)

Anyway, the "Earthlings" have a lot of fighting power.

For one thing, an army of lords. Levels aren't that threatening, but numbers are aligned. The other is a special mechanism of magic civilization that is not available to players, typical of the Moval Armor. And finally, the Ancient Species.

If you refuse to participate in the Free Cities Alliance Eastal, the possibility of some kind of dispute must be considered. But as I thought earlier, that's unlikely.

All three forces on the "Landman" side are long and short.

Each has something to see, but the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal as an overall force does not extend to the City of Akiba's Adventurers.

Still, the Roundtable Conference rocked between participation in and non-participation in the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal.

The main argument of the participants was that non-participation had no particular benefit. Participation will open at least a formal line of interaction with the "Earthlings". If it is also unlikely that you will be pushed to the full extent of an impossible demand without warfare anxiety, it would seem that there are fewer disadvantages from participation.

The main claim of the participating deniers was that they were seated in the aristocracy. It is an argument that the players are emotionally unconvinced that they are "awarded" by non-player characters and admitted as companions.

At a time when the arguments were clear, a large number of the meetings were leaning towards participation.

It was obvious to everyone that the claims of the participating deniers were emotional. It is also true that this emotion was most obnoxious and that the empathetic mind was more or less in the minds of the player majority.

Taking into account the area, the Round Table Conference put out a brief report on the city square. In order to exchange information with the Lords of the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal, they decided to participate in the Alliance of Free Cities Eastal.

Thus, in August, the members selected from the Round Table Conference were to come to the "Ancient Court of Eternal Ice".
