Chapter 3391
From then on, wherever Ye Liuyun’s army went, the bandits surrendered outright.
They could neither defeat the army nor escape. The bandits had already tried fleeing, but the demon army had beaten them back every time, leaving them no choice but to surrender.
Ye Liuyun showed them no mercy. These bandits were deeply in debt, and even after they surrendered, he still took all the power of their divine souls.
This allowed him to collect even more divine-soul power, and the Death Legion benefited as well, receiving a considerable amount of resources for soul cultivation. Ye Liuyun himself had also accumulated more than two hundred soul sources, which he kept for his own cultivation and that of the others.
In the end, they completely wiped out the entire star system. All the resources they seized were given to the soldiers of the Death Legion, all the corpses were given to the female soldiers’ mounts as food, and Ye Liuyun collected all the planets.
Dealing with these bandits was merely something Ye Liuyun did in passing, but to this star system, it was a blessing of the greatest magnitude.
These bandits had wreaked havoc across dozens of surrounding star systems. Now that they had suddenly been wiped out, all the neighboring planets celebrated.
Ye Liuyun also felt that he had collected enough resources, so afterward he rarely took action himself. Moreover, the closer they got to the Silver Fox Star System, the lower the martial cultivators’ cultivation levels and strength became.
In the end, Ye Liuyun even moved Liang Xue, Wu Qingcheng, and the other women out of the spatial world so they could get out and stretch their legs as well. The Death Legion and the demon army, meanwhile, had all returned to the spatial world to cultivate.
Even though these women did not usually take part in battles, they had all reached the fourth or fifth level of the Unity Realm, making them powerful figures in the Silver Fox Star System. With the demonic beasts and people like Xiao Yunfang around, Ye Liuyun had no need to worry about their safety.
Their flying ship was also fast, and they were drawing closer and closer to the Silver Fox Star System. Ye Liuyun directed the ship straight toward a trade planet, intending to stop there.
Just before they entered the Silver Fox Star System, everyone aboard the flying ship was grilling meat and chatting. They were all excited to return to the Silver Fox Star System, but suddenly, everyone’s divine sense detected several Falcon warships blocking their path ahead. All of those warships bore the Alliance’s emblem.
“Huh? Big Brother, you haven’t been around lately. Could the Myriad Gods Alliance have switched to being bandits?” Lei Ming asked Ye Liuyun in confusion.
“Has the Myriad Gods Alliance changed that much? Weren’t they too afraid to explore the starry sky before?”
“What do we do if they really try to rob us?”
The other women also bombarded Ye Liuyun with questions.
“Go down and take a look. There’s no need to hold back. If they’re really trying to rob us, then kill them outright!”
Ye Liuyun was curious as well, but he still did not change his principles.
After all, he had never heard Li Yuanlang, Cang Jinsong, or the others mention that the Myriad Gods Alliance was engaged in robbery. At the very least, people like Li Yuanlang and Cang Jinsong would never have come up with such a rotten idea. So he merely suspected that some of the major families under the Alliance might be abusing its name to run wild.
In a forest that large, there were bound to be all kinds of birds. He would not condemn the entire Alliance because of one or two rotten apples.
The women accordingly left the warship to investigate the situation. A squad of soldiers also disembarked from the Falcon warship opposite them. Judging by their uniforms, they appeared to be regular Alliance troops.
When the soldiers saw a group of women as beautiful as celestial maidens, they were all stunned by their beauty. However, the aura released by the women opposite them made the soldiers afraid to look for long.
In particular, Ye Tiandao, Xiao Yunfang, Meng Qingyin, and the other women standing at the front had all once commanded great armies. Although some of them had not led troops for a long time, that imposing aura still remained. Naturally, it emerged when they faced these soldiers.
The fierce aura emanating from Lei Ming and the Dragon Lady at the front was even more powerful, leaving the soldiers feeling panicked.
After regaining his composure, a minor commander swallowed hard and said to the women, “The trade planet ahead is part of the Silver Fox Star System and under the jurisdiction of our Myriad Gods Alliance. We are conducting routine inspections of all travelers. Where are you from? What are you here for? What are your cultivation realms?”
“An inspection? Who gave you that authority? Are people no longer allowed to travel freely through the starry sky?” Meng Qingyin retorted coldly.
“Why should we submit to your inspection?” Lei Ming demanded, hands on her hips.
“Exactly. Since this is a trade planet, people should be free to come and go. Who gave you the right to block the way here?” Xiao Yunfang also spoke up.
As the few of them spoke, they further intensified their oppressive aura to intimidate the minor commander.
“...Ladies, we’re only carrying out orders...” Faced with their imposing presence, the minor commander was already so frightened that he could barely speak coherently.
“Go and bring out your highest-ranking commander to answer us!” Xiao Yunfang did not want to make things difficult for him, so she immediately ordered him to summon the leader here.
The minor commander did not dare to argue. As if granted a reprieve, he turned and ran back to the warship to report.
“Useless! You can’t even handle a few women with high cultivation realms!” A garrison commander cursed when he heard the minor commander’s report.
However, after learning that the women possessed high cultivation realms, he did not dare approach them himself either. He immediately ordered the Falcon warships to surround them and prepare to attack.
Then, from across the warships, he shouted to the women, “The Alliance has regulations. Anyone wishing to enter the trade planet must undergo an inspection. Anyone who refuses will be treated as an external enemy invading our territory!”
“How outrageous! They actually dare to aim Falcon warships at us!” Xiao Yunfang, Meng Qingyin, and the others were all extremely displeased.
“No wonder the merchant association’s profits haven’t grown in recent years. It turns out these people have blockaded everything! How can business on a foreign-trade planet possibly prosper if they carry on like this?”
Xuan Yuanling could not help complaining to Wu Qingcheng and the other women.
“They dare threaten us?”
Seeing how displeased the women were, Lei Ming became energized as well. She felt that even if she took action, Ye Liuyun would not stop her. Besides, Ye Liuyun had already said that there was no need to hold back.
Thus, she immediately revealed her true form and let out a furious roar, directly attacking the soldiers with sound waves and soul-shaking waves.

She had now reached the ninth level of the Unity Realm, and both her divine soul and bloodline were among the strongest at the same level. Once she released her full aura and unleashed her soul-shaking waves, even the soldiers inside the Falcon warships were shaken unconscious.
A few commanders managed to remain barely conscious, but they were still shaken until they vomited blood, their divine souls injured.
“Vermilion Bird, search his soul and find out who ordered this place to be sealed off!”
At that moment, Ye Liuyun’s voice rang out through the starry sky.
Upon hearing this, Vermilion Bird immediately released her divine soul and sent it into the commander’s sea of consciousness aboard the warship, searching his soul for information. The opposing commander was already terrified out of his wits, believing that he was about to be turned into a mindless idiot.
Unexpectedly, Vermilion Bird withdrew her divine soul after searching him, and he did not become an idiot.
“Master, this commander’s rank is too low. He was only carrying out the orders of the trade planet’s chief garrison commander and doesn’t know the details,” Vermilion Bird reported to Ye Liuyun.
