Chapter 1245: Bribing Ryan Seys
Jose Floyd happily patted Ryan Seys on the head, "Sticky Rice, remember what you said today. If I hear you call Steven Cooper uncle, don’t you believe I’ll have someone tie you up and sell you!"
"...Uncle, don’t use threats. You should bribe me with toys! I respond better to soft rather than hard tactics..."
Jose Floyd smacked the back of Ryan Seys’s head and handed him something, his voice cold: "Go back and give this to your aunt. Tomorrow, you’ll receive your favorite Transformers and other series of toys!"
Ryan Seys showed joy as he took what Jose Floyd gave him, then his face fell, "The toys you send, my aunt will definitely throw away. She didn’t even let me keep the airplane you sent, stored it in the cottage."
So ruthless! That woman Nicole!
Jose Floyd’s brows frosted, gestured at Ryan Seys with a finger, a slight smile on his lips, "I will send them in your uncle’s name, tell me what you want, and tomorrow they will all be delivered to the Seys Family for you!"
"Uncle, the more I look at you, the more handsome you are! You truly deserve my aunt!" Ryan Seys laughed shamelessly, grinning widely.
Jose Floyd happily patted Ryan Seys’s little head, then turned back to his car, not sparing Nicole a glance as he sped away.
After refueling, Nicole called Ryan Seys to get in the car.
"What did he talk to you about?" Nicole asked Ryan Seys as she sat in the back seat.
Ryan Seys looked conflicted and hesitant at Nicole, "Auntie, don’t ask, you wouldn’t want to know."
Nicole eyed her nephew, "Speak!" A single word, with a slightly commanding tone.
Ryan Seys immediately squirmed and whispered to Nicole, "He said he likes Auntie... He said apart from Auntie, no other woman catches his eye... He said he wants to be my uncle!"
"Haha... Miss, looks like you have a suitor." The driver in the front seat couldn’t help but laugh.
Nicole pressed her lips, "Ryan, don’t get too close to him. He will never be your uncle."
The only connection between her and Jose Floyd was hatred, a never-ending animosity. Beyond that, there was nothing left between them.
"Oh." Ryan Seys responded weakly.

When Nicole returned home with Ryan Seys, Ariel Morris and Daisy Grant were chatting in the Seys Family living room.
Seeing her come in, Ariel Morris and Daisy Grant stood up to greet her.
"Mom." Ryan Seys rushed to Ariel Morris, snuggling up to her.
"You’re finally back safely, had Ariel worried sick." Daisy Grant smiled at Nicole.
Nicole sat on the sofa, smiling lightly, "Got slightly injured while rescuing Ryan, just rested for a few days in a Little Fishing Village in the Restricted District."
"Who rescued you?" Daisy Grant asked casually.
Nicole paused, still pondering how to reply—-"Uncle Floyd!" Ryan Seys lifted his head from Ariel Morris’s arms. "Uncle Floyd saved me and Auntie."
"Jose Floyd—" Ariel Morris glanced at Nicole with some unspoken meaning.
Nicole felt uncomfortable under Ariel Morris’s silent questioning gaze, stood up, "I’ll leave Ryan to you, I’m going upstairs for a nap. Call me before dinner."
"Are you really not going to tell us about your time alone with a certain someone these past days?" Ariel Morris raised her brow at Nicole as she headed up the stairs.
"Nothing much to talk about, just congratulate him on living a few more days. I still couldn’t kill him." Nicole’s voice was calm and untroubled.
Ariel Morris responded in a low voice, "Hm, that’s quite unfortunate."
Nicole’s figure disappeared at the stairs...
