Gu Mian blinked, somewhat surprised. She fully expected Nangong Yue to say she was being ridiculous. After all, ordering one of everything was really unrealistic. Not to mention whether they could finish it, it would probably take all night to prepare everything.

"Alright, alright, I was just joking." Gu Mian stuck out her tongue, not really planning to ’waste money and resources’ like that!

"Oh?" Nangong Yue raised an eyebrow, unable to resist teasing her, "Mrs. Nangong, words like spilled water can’t be taken back. The kitchen has already started preparing, so it’s not really good to go back on it now, right?"

"What’s wrong with that? It’s not like it’s all done yet. Just say we don’t want it, and that’s that." Gu Mian didn’t mind. In a restaurant, it’s perfectly normal to cancel orders that haven’t been served and the kitchen hasn’t started making yet!

Nangong Yue spoke calmly, "It was just a joke from Miss Gu. We can’t eat that much food, just have the kitchen make a few specialty dishes for the two of us."

"Yes." The receptionist finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Do you like eating fruit?" Nangong Yue asked Gu Mian.

Gu Mian quickly nodded enthusiastically, "Yes, yes, I love it!"

She’s the type who can live on just eating fruit.

Nangong Yue’s elegant smile appeared as he glanced at her through his glasses, "No wonder you’re so slender."

He then turned to the receptionist, "Have the kitchen make a mixed fruit platter, a really large one."

"Yes." The receptionist agreed, then respectfully exited the room.

"I’m going to the restroom." Gu Mian stood up and said.

"Okay." Nangong Yue nodded.

Gu Mian was familiar with the place and found the restroom without needing the receptionist’s guidance. After using the toilet, she came out to wash her hands and tidy her hair and clothes at the sink.

Looking at herself in the mirror seemed a bit unfamiliar. She couldn’t help but touch her face and pinch herself. It all felt a bit unreal, like a dream.

Just a moment ago, her thoughts were still at the moment she got off the plane, and now suddenly she’s with Nangong Yue getting certificates and having a meal together!!

Just as she was about to turn and leave, a man walked out of the men’s restroom and suddenly called out to her, "Is it Miss Gu Mian?"
