It was a traveled line, but silence reigns in the carriage. Why is this happening when we usually have casual conversations?

"Hey, hey, Caro?

"Ha..."

That's because even when Atal spoke, he didn't hear from Caro, he just took a heavy sigh of relief.

"Well, I know how you feel."

"Dear Carol, are you all right?

Atal had an idea why Caro was in this state, but Balkias just worried about Caro, the contractor, because he didn't know. Balkias was restlessly wandering around Caro at first, but he groans in a worrying tone, not knowing what to do, and looks up at Atal's face.

"Bal, you'll be fine in a while, so stay by your side until then."

'... ok'

Balkias decides to sit right next to Caro, convinced that would be the best thing Atal could say.

There was no verbal response from Caro, but he seemed to be a natural distraction by stroking Balkias' back. The blurry but stroking hand was very gentle, and Balkias decided to close his eyes softly and taste the sensation.

When Atal smiles softly watching the interaction from your stand, he decides to concentrate on maneuvering.

A few hours later, a line arriving at the village where we were due to stop, decides to rest here. Caro, who got out of the carriage, first lowered his head to Attal and Balkias.

"Um... I'm sorry!

The head that lowered momentum was such that it would reach the ground. The characteristic long ears are ground shaken and shaken.

"... what?

'... what is it?

The two who have no idea tilt their necks in alignment when they look at each other.

"Eh, well, it feels weird all the way up here..."

Apparently, Caro cared about the silent and only sighing on the road in the carriage.

"What, about that? Don't worry about it. Sometimes."

"Yes, it felt good to be caressed by Carol!

Caro relieves himself inside to two people who don't look like they cared at all.

At the same time it was unconscious of him to be stroking Balkias, so Caro tilted his neck wondering if he was doing that, but thought it would be impeccable to speak of it if Balkias was happy.

"Whatever, you're feeling a little calm, aren't you? Then you should enjoy your journey again."

Atal changes his story from the look on Caro's face to what's to come, guessing that he's sorted it out. I purposefully put it in a bright tone to keep her from bothering me any more.

"Right. To be honest, I still think of it as a lot, but still considering I'm close to the purpose I set out to when I started my journey with Master Atal... emotional."

This long journey started at first with just the two of us, then with more Balkias, with the addition of Ifria, and Ifria travelling and the three of us proceeding so far.

The impending end of one end of it was both joyful and lonely.

"Just because you got to a destination doesn't mean that your journey is over. Our journey is still going on!... I don't know, it looks like it's over."

I said it myself, I saw my own balls poking in, and Caro had a natural smile leaking out.

"Phew, Master Atal... But, yes, I was fine. Thank you. Thank you."

"Hmm, Master Atal is amazing after all... I want to do something to revitalize Master Caro too..."

Balkias' tail was soggy when he felt the difference between his claws and himself, which he did like no other.

"Bal, you're always healing me. So please don't be discouraged. Master Atal and Mr. Bal are here, so I can get back on track!

As Caro says as he strokes his head in gaze with Balkias, Balkias also gradually moves his tail wide.

"Oh, is that right?

"That's right!

The word of confirmation also returned a strong reply, thus restoring Balkias' mood completely.

"Now that we're in a better mood, we're going to take an inn in this village, which is our first resting point. Sure, there's only one inn."

Before we left, Natalia had prepared a map to explain our journey to the next country, in which, of course, information about this village was included.

"Are you travelers?

One of the villagers called out to the Ataru, who were talking around the entrance to the village, as if they were doing it.

"Hmm? Oh, yeah. I thought we had an inn in this village... sorry, the carriage got in the way."

Atal realizes the carriage is in the center of the road and hurries to try to pull the carriage over to the edge. Caro and the others try to help with that as they panicked.

"Oh, no, I'm not. No, I do have a problem with it being in the middle of the road, but it's not... if you're looking for an inn, you should follow me because we are."

I laughed bitterly at him for making me mistake. He seems to be the only innkeeper in this village, and he said he would guide me that far.

"That helps. You saved me a lot of trouble finding a place to stay."

"Nice to meet you"

Atal and Caro consider themselves lucky to have met Inn's master and decide to follow the guide.

"If you don't, are you an adventurer? Looks like he's got some pretty strong gear."

"... oh yeah. The rank is not that high, but I signed up for the guild once."

Ataru, who felt uncomfortable with some exploring gaze man, said for a moment, but decided to answer honestly because it was not so much information.

"Well... fewer adventurers have come to this village lately. There are many adventurers who choose another route to connect their country. As you can see, there's no place to play."

In the words of men who laugh and speak like masochists, the Ataru look over the whole village somewhat. Overall, a village with few people and the right word for neglect. That was the impression of Atal and Caro, though I wouldn't say it.
