Mages Are Too OP

Chapter 23 Simple Tasks

Roland spent more than a month in Red Earth Town, never triggered a mission, never thought of a little guy like Betta, coming up with a mission.

But it's perfectly normal to think about it, because Roland doesn't know the language yet, and the task is something that needs to be communicated. Unlike previous games, NPC has a golden exclamation mark on its head to tell you in this way that there's a mission here.

How can someone who has difficulty communicating trigger a task?

So… learning the magic of language as soon as possible is imperative.

“Okay, form a team and share the task with me. ”

From small to large players, they quickly found the team interface in the system interface, and Beta shared the task.

‘Looking for the missing children of the elderly. ’

The title of the task is green, followed by an excellent suffix.

Seems to see Roland's confusion, and Betta explains beside herself: “I've been on a white mission before, but I don't have much experience, and the reward for the item is normal, which is a regular iron sword. ”

Speaking of which, Betta took a long, somewhat rusty sword out of her backpack and waved it twice, shouting: “Here it is. ”

“Are all the clothes and weapons on you from the mission?” Roland asked curiously.

Betta nods her head and asks back, "Isn't that the magic robe on Rolango? ”

Roland shook his head: "No, it's just from an old man. ”

Betta clapped her hands violently, excited: “Looks like there's an intimacy story to the game. ”

Although Berta had just graduated from high school, he could tell that his brain was quite active and quickly thought of some 'dots’ that no one else could see.

Roland thought about it and said, "Although you seem to be talking about this, I have to tell you, the NPC of this game can't be considered the NPC of the sandbox game we've played before, they're pretty smart. ”

Betta nodded softly and said softly: “I know that the penguin company makes AI that is almost real. ”

“They give me a real human feeling.” Roland frowned and said.

“Ha-ha-ha.” Betta laughed: “Rolango, you have too much heart. This game is controlled by intelligent AI, and they're all just data. ”

Roland sighed: “When I was in college, all I learned was intelligent programming and applications, and more simply, AI, though it failed. As far as I know, if a world as big as this is going to come out, and every NPC is simulated as a real person, the amount of storage that is needed is pretty amazing, and I don't think anybody can do that. ”

“But this game appeared.” Betta was clearly a result-only man, and he shrugged his shoulders and said, "So... one genius made a breakthrough. ”

Roland smiled bitterly: "That's all I can think of. ”

“All right, Roland, can we go?” Betta looks forward to seeing him.

The two of them stood in front of Roland's little thatch house, halfway up the hill. Roland refers to the foothills, because today it is a market relationship, Red Earth Town has two to three times more people than usual.

The streets were crammed with hawkers on both sides, and the pedestrians on the streets stood and walked.

A loud noise, coming from below, a loud noise, kind of like a unique tide.

“Don't you want to enjoy a festival like this?” Roland asked strangely, "You must have rarely experienced such a simple market event, after all, your generation grew up in an e-commerce environment. ”

Betta shrugged: “Not interested at all, I just want to upgrade quickly, go to the big city, and then go on a more interesting mission to see a lot of monsters and scenery. ”

Was this teenager more adventurous than people around him?

Roland stood up and said, "Okay, let's go. ”

They went down the hill, walked across the bustling bridge of the heart of the lake, and came out of Red Earth Town. According to the clue provided in the mission intelligence, before the child disappeared, he said he was going to become a mercenary, invade the world, then carry a sword and set out west.

“West. ”

Roland implicitly remembered that a few days ago, he and Falkan chatted, saying that dozens of kilometres west, a bunch of ogres were hiding in the woods, sometimes capturing passing pedestrians. But because these cannibals are good at fighting, and because of the remoteness of the place and the lack of powerful mercenaries, no one is fighting them.

Thinking about it, Roland muttered, “That kid, he's not foolish enough to fight the ogre. Is there such a fool? ”

Betta answered: “It's just a game setup, don't be so rational. It's just a way to upgrade us anyway. ”

Roland always felt something was wrong.

At the prompt of the mission system, Roland and Betta walked away for a day, and in the evening, they finally found the ogre.

Decorated with many people's bones, the place looks gloomy.

Three, three, two, two, green leather ogres, sitting around the fire. Stone pots were placed on the fire and seemed to boil the limbs of humans.

There are about thirteen of them, each ranked between LV1-LV2, so no wonder the average pedestrian is not their opponent.

They are all professionals, and there are not many.

The two of them lay down on the hillside and Roland asked, "Want to work out a proper battle plan? ”

“No, I've killed a lot of cannibals like that. Rolango just help me plunder.” Betta stood up and headed straight down the hill.

In fact, Betta was right, he killed these ogres, like chopping vegetables.

Betta moves fairly quickly and with little power, and even more surprisingly, he has time to use magic in battle.

He rushed into the cannibal nest, as if the tiger had entered the sheep's circle, killing nearly half of the cannibals in less than three minutes, while the other half had died under Roland's little fire balls, or had been slaughtered by a magician's hand.

Full of mosaics.

Betta wiped the Masek off her face and, with the help of the system, found a bright target, a dry head hanging on a strange human bone totem.

“Mission target found.” Betta laughed and took her head off the totem.

“Don't you feel sick?” Roland frowned and asked.

Betta threw her head in her hand, saying, "It's just a series of data, just look away. ”

“Well, Rolango, let's go back to the task. ”

Roland looked around at the human bone totem, these were eaten human bones, and a few stone pots were boiled, and he thought about it and said, "Why don't you do the job, I want to bury the bones first. ”

Betta looked at him with surprise: "Rolango, these are just data. You're in too deep a play. ”

Rolandon said, "Just take me for granted. ”

Betta sighed and said, "Well, hurry up. ”

After that, he left alone.
