Mages Are Too OP

Chapter 49: Mental Strength

Though ten gold coins a month is no better than Shuk's monthly teachings of 20 gold coins a month in the Gods of Light.

It should be understood, however, that saints belong to the 'higher ecclesiastical' religion and that they have the right to autonomous law enforcement, although in matters of concern they are also subject to the Pope's command, and they have the right to mobilize any members of the Church once they appear on the front line or when they are on mission.

The status of the saint is equal to that of the Virgin of Light.

Such an exaggerated position, twenty gold coins a month, is not too much.

But Roland is now only acting branch president, and as far as he knows, the Magic Society has branches in many major cities. An acting vice president of the district actually has ten gold coins per month, plus a variety of resources to use.

This can already be described entirely in bold and generous terms.

After a while, Roland calmed down and said, "So what am I supposed to do now? ”

“Get acquainted with our magic tower?” Cross cautiously suggested, "After all, there are too many things in the Magic Tower right now to be handled by the Chairman, who is a little busy on his own. ”

“Okay.” Roland nodded, then said, "But I don't know your writing yet, so can anyone teach me how to read first? Just read me the business papers? ”

And then Vivian, the little beauty I mentioned earlier, stood up and smiled on her face and asked her, "Vice President, I can teach you. ”

Well... Roland looked at the others, and the others saw, all of them out of sight.

Obviously sending aids.

“All right, you're up.” Neither is Roland a petite person, nor is it against their will to come here first.

Vivian sweetened and laughed.

Then the others dispersed, and Vivian took Roland on a tour of the tower.

Several areas were highlighted, such as the Magic Materials Warehouse on the third floor, the Magic Laboratory on the fifth floor, the Magic Tower Control Core on the sixth floor and the Library on the seventh floor. Only the eight, nine, and ten floors used as residences for high-ranking members of the Magic Society.

Roland stopped at the library on the seventh floor for a long time, and the books were written in Horatio, and Roland didn't know a word about them, but he knew that he would soon put them all in his head.

He then chose the eighth floor as his residence, after all very close to the library. Just the first floor.

After the tour, little beauty Vivian introduced the existing business of the Magic Tower in the study on the eighth floor.

Then Roland finally figured out why the Magic Tower was so wealthy.

First, the Magic Society's General Council issues 100 gold coins semi-annually, and some magic materials come down as resources, while local city owners support 10 gold coins per month, as the Magic Tower has a defensive pact with the city.

There are also local chambers of commerce, or friendship donations from nobles, which averages about 20 gold coins or more per month.

Finally, there are special tasks, such as helping mercenary unions, assassin unions and other special organizations to identify magical objects, provide information on magical creatures, and even send some magic apprentices to help clean up monsters. In any case, there is a series of business going on, and almost a dozen gold coins are earned each month.

In this way, the Magic Tower's disposable income exceeds sixty gold coins per month and releases ten gold coins to Roland without any problems whatsoever.

And the magic apprentices' income… is more pathetic, with only two or three silver coins.

When Roland heard about it, he was surprised to ask, "Don't you think that money is scarce? ”

“A lot.” Vivian naturally said, "We eat the Magic Tower, we use the Magic Tower. The resources used to practise magic are also magic towers. Usually you don't have to go out to work, and you can get two or three silver coins a month, which is already a huge benefit. ”

Roland's fingers lit gently on the desk: "But I get ten gold coins a month, hundreds of times your wages, no problem? ”

Vivian shook her head and her delicate, tiny face was naturally full of face: “Two or three hundred magic apprentices, not necessarily a full magician. Why should we have an opinion? ”

So that's it!

No wonder these people are so excited about their arrival. No wonder they have a look of worship from time to time. It turns out official magicians are really rare.

“So, what are the conditions between an apprentice of magic and an official magician?” Roland asked.

Vivian, wearing a lenient magic robe, explains: “There are two conditions, one is to reach the first stage of the magician and the other is to be able to use at least one first-order spell normally. ”

The first step? Roland looked at Vivian in front of him and said, "What is your first step? ”

“Zero order.” Vivian sighed: "And I still can't fully use first-order little fireballs. ”

Zero! LV0?

Roland was curious: "How do you know your rank? ”

“Didn't you learn to exodus?” Vivian looked surprised when she covered her little mouth gently.

Roland's stall.

“Like this.” Vivian demonstrated by gently closing her eyes.

A gentle, even ‘sweet' scent emerged from Vivian's forehead, gently ‘touching' Roland's hand back and back, looking a little naughty.

This mental power, Roland did feel it.

Then Vyvyan opened his eyes and said with a few admiring looks: "You are the fourth stage. The fifth order is the elite, and our chairman is the elite. You're both super geniuses. ”

So this is spiritual exodus?

Roland stunned for a moment, and then he closed his eyes too.

After concentrating, he felt something similar in his own consciousness. Compared to Vivian's spiritual strength, he feels his spiritual strength is much ‘greater'.

If Vivian's spiritual strength is a 'light veil’, then his spiritual strength is a round water polo.

Turns out this thing is mental power.

In fact, he had long felt that, when applied, the spell of shaping would always pull a part out of the ‘water polo', and it would gradually replenish itself over time.

He always thought it was just MP value, turns out it was mental strength.

Speaking of which, MP doesn't seem to conflict with mental power.

Can you put this thing out on its own?

Roland tried it, tearing part of it out of the 'water polo' with his mind, making a few octopus tentacles and entangling Vivian across the street.

According to the theory, he closed his eyes at this time and could not see the situation outside, but when a few tentacles stretched out of his sea of consciousness, he ‘saw’ the situation ahead of him.

It's not a visual ‘look', it's a feeling, different from what the eye sees, not even sure of the shape, but he knows what's in front of him a few meters away.

For example... under Vivian's Magic Robe of Relaxation, that brilliant body.

I'll do it!

He immediately regained his spiritual strength.

And across the street, Vivian's face was a little reddish.
