Magi Craft Meister

03-01 Port Town Potlock

A continent with small groups of countries, its southern peninsula. The name is Elias Peninsula. Under the rule of the kingdom of Elias of the same name, shipping, fishing and salt making flourish.

Only thin lands were connected to the continent, with little movement to and from other small groups of countries, and their own culture was forming.

"I see it's warm in here"

Jen sucks the sea breeze into her chest.

Now Jen was guided by Reiko to stroll through the port town of Potlock, the gateway east of the Kingdom of Elias.

"It was on the coast here that I was flown in my fifteenth runaway metastasis. There was a sea erosion cave, so we set up a transfer gate (warp gate) there and hid it in disguise as a rock."

"You've had a hard time, too."

That's what I say. I work for Reiko, Jen.

No, of course not.

Reiko seems happy though I answered that.

"The currency was the same torr, wasn't it?

"Yes, it's common because it's a small group of countries"

Jen had small gold because he sold magic guides and magic stones (Magistone) in Blueland.

"Well, suppose you can settle down somewhere in a cheap inn."

In the south, tourists come as a shelter because they are surrounded by the sea. For this reason, it is also characterized by a large number of accommodations.

"I'd like an inn of about 200 torres a night, but isn't there a place like the information desk?

"Shall I ask?

And Reiko said,

"Right. I'm selling skewers over there. Why don't you ask me at the dew shop? Then buy me a skewer."

"Yes, I understand"

Reiko snorted and ran to the outhouse, bought one skewer, talked to the owner about something, but nodded one back.

"Father, yes, please."

"Oh, that smells good."

It resembled squid baking and was flavored with something like fish soy sauce.

"Yeah, it's good"

Jen listens to Reiko's report as she eats the skewer.

"So, they don't have anything like a information desk. But I heard the owner recommend the inn."

"Right, that's it. So, where?

"Yes, let's go straight down the boulevard and hit the corner of the tool shop on the left."

That's why I'm heading there.

Walk down the boulevard first. Stone buildings line both sides. Is it because it is resistant to sea breezes?

"I wonder if it's a medieval culture after all"

Reiko reacts to Jen's solitary remarks.

"In the Middle Ages, I'm not sure, but I have the impression that it's kind of behind your mother's time."

"Um, I guess it's because of the 'Magic Wars' or something. Once civilization was destroyed, the leader of civilization was drastically reduced."

I was in front of a tool store when I was walking around talking about that.

"Left corner of the tool shop," he said.

"Is it there?

What was on the poke was an old but disappointing stone building. There was a sign hung with a small "Sea Ringing Pavilion".

"Looks like it's here."

Two people going in there.

"Hello."

"Yes, are you staying?

I was greeted at the counter by a very wide stranger.

"Um, I heard about it at the skewered outhouse, please stay"

"Introducing Paul. Two hundred torres a night, then, but your little lady is small, so you can have 300 torres for two."

"Well, for now, three nights, please"

Jen put 900 torres out of his wallet and paid.

"Yes, indeed. Then write your name here.... Jin, and Leiko, right?... This is the key to the room. Upstairs poke. Dining in the cafeteria will cost you something else."

"Okay."

So the two of them headed to the room. The stairs are also stone built, are they soft stones, the footsteps don't sound.

Sounds like Otanishi.

As a magic engineer Magicraft Jazz, Jen is also interested in stone. Big Valley Stone, or pumice limestone, can also be picked in Penglai. It is a stone used in building materials because it is fire resistant and easy to process.

"This is the room."

The door says' Bonito ', not the room number.

"That's a fish name."

Reiko told me to look at the doors in the other rooms and it said, "Sardina," "Barakudo," "Culp," etc.

"What kind of fish is Bonito?

"Come on?"

Nor does Reiko know much about fish.

In the meantime, I'll go into my room. Two beds and one small table. Plus two stools.

There seems to be a shelf on the wall where you can put your stuff. The toilet was on the other side of the hallway at the poke.

Looking out through a small window, it is by the sea. It's just called "Sea Ringing Pavilion," and it looks like it's built facing the ocean.

Even when it comes to luggage, there is only one bag that contains underwear and other clothes. If you feel like it, you can go back to Penglai. However, I thought about interacting with people in this town and rented an inn.

There are no baths, just facilities similar to showers. The bath seems like the only way to get in Penglai, Jen gave up,

"Well, let's take another look around town."

"Yes, Father."

So they locked up the room, and left it with the clerk at the front desk, and then went outside.

"Father, where will you go first?

"Right, I'd like to see the ship, let's go to the harbor"

So we go for the ocean first.

The back of the "Sea Ringing Pavilion" is the sea that has become edgy. It was like a sea bath there, with sparse sea bathers.

The harbor looked left and right, and I saw a lot of ships on the right hand side, about 300 meters away.

"Looks like that's the harbor over there"

It is a port as soon as you walk along the coast. Ships of all sizes and sizes were quietly rocking in waves. Does it smell like fish because there are many vessels that use it for fishing?

"Hmm, is the hull a lot of wood after all? Looks like metal's just being used to reinforce it."

It is Jen who begins to observe quickly.

"Father, this ship is interesting."

When I heard Reiko's voice and went over there, there was, indeed, an interesting ship floating around.

"Two-torso ship (catamaran)"

It was indeed a ship in the shape of a double-torso vessel (catamaran) on modern Earth. Would the total length be about four meters?

"You're a ship with both high speed navigation and stability. But what do you use it for?

When Jen was talking to herself like that, she heard a voice from behind.

"Oh, look, you know what I mean? Are you a shipbuilder, too?

Turning around, what was there was a woman who looked two or three years older than Jen.

Style is good, where it exits, and where it creaks, it is creepy. The hair has a short blonde hair and looks lively. The blue eyes remind me of the sea, the skin burned in wheat is tense and looks healthy.

"No, I'm Magicraft My... Magicraftsman"

Soon, Jen almost named himself Jazz again. But when she heard about the magician, she let her eyes shine.

"Magician! Hey, do you belong somewhere?

That's what Jen was asked,

"No, nothing."

Then the woman grinned even happier,

"Are you free! That's just fine. You, what's your name? I'm Marcia."

"I'm Jen. So, this kid's Reiko."

"Jin and Leiko, right. Nice to meet you. So, just now, I want to talk to you, so come here."

Marcia invites you to a coffee shop in the harbor. As there were just no other guests in that store named Shipyard (Cabin), the three chose the deepest seat to sit in.
