Magi Craft Meister

05-13 Jen's Lecture

The next day, about an hour after breakfast, Jen was summoned to the Marquis of Florenciano's room. Reinhardt, Elsa, and Reiko are with them.

"Hiccup."

When Jens sat on the couch, the opening was the best, that's what the Marquis said. Of course it is to Jen.

I was otherwise distracted and unaware when I reported on the post-competition golem noise, but once again looking at the Marquis, the dark blonde hair is put together up and the slightly connected blue eyes are sensible.

Hang it with glasses too, it looks like a schoolteacher or secretary would look good in a suit, but reality is a marquis in white leather trousers, white blouse, blue vest and thin purple jacket.

She doesn't look very much like her mid-forties, Jen thought.

The Marquis continued,

"Jin, who played in the golem boat competition, didn't expect you to be pulled out by the Shouro Empire. I wonder what my people were looking at."

I want a good free magician (Magicraftsman) in every country. The Marquis joked half the time and regretted it.

And when he commanded the servant to brew the cuhe,

"Well, take your time. Today, Jin, I want to talk to you about the thief you caught and the golem."

First, from the mouth of the Marquis, a description was given of the captured thief. It seems to be a thief who was originally in the eastern state of Isud, but it seems to have flown here recently.

The chief was a magician there, so he used Hypnosis (Hypno) and Subliminal Guidance (Subliminal) by magic to make most of his men look like puppets.

He says the magical horror of this "subliminal induction" is that he thinks he is acting on his own will.

"Anyway, he's the kind of guy who disposes of his men."

The Marquis said to throw it away.

"I'm not sure, but I hear the chief was a junior nobleman of the Kingdom of Celluloa. When I ran away, I told them I killed all my pursuers in the Golem."

You'll find out more about that in the upcoming investigation, he said.

"More than that, it's that golem, but the first thing I looked at was the control core, and I found out it was outrageous."

"A hell of a thing?

"Yeah. That golem was Prototype 11."

I didn't know what that meant, and Elsa was the only one who sliced his neck. Jen and Reinhardt understood exactly what it meant.

"What do you mean?

It was Jen who answered such Elsa's question.

"I mean, oh, there's at least ten more golems, and probably more made"

And Reinhardt took over,

"'Prototype' means I'm making such a golem for a purpose. And I can see why."

"Yeah. It's definitely 'for combat'. The purpose will be war."

That's what the Marquis put together.

"You mean someone, somewhere, is ready for a battle golem?

And, Elsa.

"That's right. According to the information, it seems that it was also the same type of golem that escaped Valentino, who was being held in Potlock"

"Does Valentino have a connection to them somewhere?"

When Reinhardt says so, the Marquis of Florenciano,

"Yeah, but investigating the mansion that was left behind didn't come out with anything but evidence of corruption, and the three ladies, the two concubines, didn't seem to know anything"

and briefly described the findings at Potlock.

"Was he wearing the mask of a mentally retarded man..."

And Jen said,

"No, it seems it's the ground that's disturbed."

and the Marquis closed.

"Either way."

Marquis Florenciano to be re-divided.

"This issue is a matter for our country, so Lord Reinhardt, Miss Elsa, and Jin, you don't need to get involved any more"

This came from the whispers of the Marquis of Florenciano and the Head of the Kingdom of Elias, but from the results it was a mistake.

If Jen and Reinhardt had also been asked to cooperate at this time, the confusion we would have waited for could have been avoided.

but godless, it would be cruel to say it.

At this point, anyway, the body of the golem that Jen defeated had not yet arrived in the capital, so he did not know how it was defeated.

As of yesterday, only controlled nuclei (control cores) and thieves had been sent to the capital. The golem was sometimes heavy and left behind at the discretion of the scene.

If I had seen something that sees the defeated golem, I would have wanted to know how it was defeated at all costs.

Later, Jen said one thing he noticed because he was asked about the impression of the town and the bad things that were good and bad, mainly in Potrok.

"Right, Potlock is a port town, the sea is close, so the water is bad."

The inability to wash a sticky body with a sea breeze would be a drawback on tourism, he said. The Marquis heard it,

"Oh, you sure do. Some luxury accommodations are the only places you can bathe."

And I saw Jen, with a pranky grin,

"But that's what we talked about, Jin. Do you have any ideas?

That's what they said. Jen laughs bitterly.

"That's pretty sharp. Yeah, I've been thinking about it."

"Well, after all? You must let me know."

"Of course it is. It's distillation."

"'All the time'?

"What, what's that?

Marquis and Reinhardt, two of us have asked Jen. While you're in Reinhardt, embark on yourself.

Jen replies that it is a magic tool that purifies water.

"But Jin, no matter how fine the eye cloth filters the well water over there, you can't get the saltiness out of it, can you? Even though it looks clear."

Jen, who heard about it, said that salt dissolved in water would not be filtered by cloth.

"Hmm? What does that mean?

It was still Reinhardt who ate it. In contrast, Jen,

"Hey, you know what happens when you take the water from the ocean on a plate and leave it alone?

I asked back. Reinhardt replied immediately, well, there will be salt left on the plate.

"So where did the water go then?

to Jen, who issued an inquiry with

"Huh? Yeah? Hmm, it's dry, so it's gone, isn't it?

And Reinhardt, who thought and answered.

"Half right and half wrong. Dry, that doesn't mean it disappears. It became invisible grains, something like air, scattered all over the air."

…………

Jen to Reinhardt, who they don't quite understand,

"Look, in water terms, ice when cooled. This is called a solid. Water if dissolved. This is called liquid. I get hot air when I heat it and bring it to a boil. This is called gas."

Hot air is not strictly gaseous if it is true, but I explained this to make it easier to understand.

"I see..."

So, Jen goes on to explain.

"This state of solids, liquids, and gases exists in any object. It's just that things are cooled and heated differently."

So cut the words, Jen. Reinhardt is putting his arms together and chewing on what he has just heard with a roar of hum.

Marquis and Elsa didn't seem to know half of it, but they only understood to say Jen had spoken of revolutionary things.

"So, the salt one doesn't get gaseous unless it's at a much higher temperature than water."

Yes, Jen says, Reinhardt hastily,

"Right! That's why the salt stays after the water's gone gaseous!

Jen snorted,

"That's right. So, what happens when you collect the water that's gassed?

Reinhardt thought only a little,

"Isn't it going to be water without mixing it up?

and said the right answer.

"Correct. Using that principle, we can make real water out of seawater."

"Nah, I see. You mean you're boiling sea water to make salt, but you can do the same, and you can make water too!

That's Reinhardt, he came up with the idea of what kind of magic guide to make.

There are ways to separate impurities with engineering magic, but the required magic digits are different.

Jen's suggested method would make a demonic guide that would be popular with the public as well.

The Marquis of Florenciano, who watched that happen,

"Mr. Jin, Lord Reinhardt. As Lord of the Land of Zaus, I ask you to make a magic guide that will allow you to do that 'all the time'."

And he bowed his head.

It's hard to say I don't like Marquis lowering my head. Jen and Reinhardt decided to make a magic guide just now by the time the meeting was over.

"Jin, in my opinion, put the pan down there and put the sea water in there. So, if you put a lid on that pan and put a small hole in that lid, the gassed water will come out, won't it?

Show where Reinhardt is sharp. Jen was right.

"Put a tube in that hole and lead it to another pan. The water that was gaseous was cooled in that tube and returned to the liquid water again."

"I see. Jin, is that what your master taught you?

That's what Jen was asked.

"As it were, sort of. I lived on an island, so I needed tools like that."

And let it be deluded.
