Magi Craft Meister

07-15 What was in the ruins

It was dark in the room where Jen and Reinhardt stepped in.

"'Lights'"

Jen lights the magic of the light. So I could see the area.

"I don't know, this place..."

Reinhardt expressed his doubts.

It was a small, large room with just some old fashioned desks and chairs. Desk and chair designs resemble those used by Jen's predecessors.

"The office or the command room, I guess."

Jen can only guess.

"But there may still be a room behind this. Let's find it."

And when I checked the wall three ways and the ceiling, the floor, other than drilled holes, I found a passage this time immediately. There was a door on the deepest wall. Though it was a bit disguised as not knowing by appearance.

"You want to go?"

"Oh."

In such a short exchange Jen and Reinhardt went further into the back.

A slightly wider passage was followed by another door about five meters.

"I'll open it. Be careful, Jin."

and Reinhardt speaks up, and Jen prepares to let the magic go at any time for caution.

And Reinhardt opened the door.

"Ugh!?

The room lights up at the same time as it opens. The demon guide lamp in that room didn't seem to be dead.

"This is..."

What appeared in front of me was an empty bookshelf.

Sounds like a repository.

Reinhardt looks over the bookshelf and concludes so.

"There was one left like this"

About two books remained in the corner of the shelf with parchment-like paper briefly closed.

"What does it say?

Jen decided to read it. Jen is an ancient character in this era, and can read the old magic script from a thousand years ago.

Pretending to follow me for once is because it's hard to explain why I can read it.

"5... month... 23rd... invasion of the Demons... to renounce the fort... decision..."

Looks like a diary or a record. It must have been from the time of the Magic Wars. Yes, Reinhardt thought.

"Materials... Weapons... Food... Take... Out... Can... As Long as... Take Out"

Reinhardt performs the analysis as he reads out Jen.

"I see, has this fort been abandoned because it can no longer hold back the demonic invasion? At that time, he said he had all the important things."

"Just in case... Transition Gate (Warp Gate)... Hall... is... buried... go"

"Well, was it that one that buried it? Now I've had a hard time finding this one."

It is ironic, as Reinhardt put it, that future generations will be dug out first, even though they have filled the transfer gates (warp gates).

Jen closed that record,

"Well, it doesn't say much important."

say, Reinhardt shook his head,

"No, it's a dossier that comes a little closer to the truth about the Magic Wars. Let's take it home."

I said. While I tell myself that it would actually be criminal to bring such material out of the ruins of other countries without permission, rather than in the hands of the Unity Party (Unifiler).

"I'll send the translations to King Egerea later."

Reinhardt put the dossier in his nostalgia, thinking so.

"Well, then the arsenal, but it's probably empty. Well, let's just take a look."

The back of the library looks like an arsenal. That's what it said in the back door.

Whether the door was getting old or whether it was even locked from the inside, no matter how many Jens pressed or pulled it, it didn't open.

Jen had no choice but to call Reiko.

"Reiko!"

Reiko, who heard Jen's voice, will soon come.

"Yes, Father."

"Try opening this door."

"Yes."

Soon Reiko hung her hand on the door and pushed it open at once. The hinge broke, but I can't break it.

"This is..."

The door didn't open because there were many golems lying in front of the door that stopped moving. It was dusty, and both Jen and Reinhardt covered their noses and mouths with handkerchiefs.

"A combat golem? No, you're just a chore golem."

Jen, who examined the immobile golem, decided that it was a golem that did chores, not for combat.

"Five bodies, huh? Nothing particularly broken."

Reinhardt also gives in to examine that golem. The demon guide lamp here is dark, and I don't know the details unless I look closely.

"Sounds like you're running out of magic."

But Jen denied it.

"... no, no. Look at this. Here."

Jen lets you open the chest of the golem. There was nothing there to be had.

"Control core... None?

Reinhardt sees it at a glance, and it takes him to look into the other golems.

It's not even in our golem.

"Not even in this one."

When Jen and Reinhardt examined all five golems, there was no control nucleus (control core).

"There's no way we're going to lose just the control core. Does that mean someone can't move this golem, should I see it?

"I don't know. That sounds like number one."

Even Jen doesn't know the truth.

"These golems weren't that important. Not enough to take in the retreat. Then you can just remove the important parts and take them.... this is what it looks like"

Jen snorted at Reinhardt's speculation,

"Because there might be something in that record earlier, we'll take a closer look when we get home"

and added: Reiko called out there.

"Father, I'm already in the back."

"What?"

When Jen turned to the back of the room Reiko said, he saw something people-shaped in the dark.

"'Lights'"

When Jen lit the light, the person looked good. It was an automatic doll (automata) in old samurai clothes. left unattended in the form of sitting on the floor. It's as dusty as a golem.

"Automatic Doll (Automata)..."

Jen bends over and examines the automatic doll (Automata). The dust was magically clean.

The body shape is adult female type. The magical skin (magical skin), which is the skin, is still spicy and resilient.

Hair is dull blue. Maybe I deliberately make it a different color than a human being.

"This has a control core!

Jen, who looked into it, voiced surprise.

"The reason you don't move... is because you're out of magic. Then you don't seem to"

This automatic doll (automata) was equipped with a Magnetic Converter (ether converter).

"Oh well. There's been a shock, and the internal magic connection is dead."

Jen's keen observation finally discovered the glitch.

"All right, I'll fix it."

If you know the problem, it's not a fault that Jen can't fix.

"'Joining', 'Fusion'"

The disconnected magic circuit was jointed and the disassembled magic device (Magi device) was repaired.

"Okay, 'Startup'"

And if you give him the magic to start, the automatic doll (Automata) moves.

With a slight crease, the automatic doll (Automata) opened its eyes and stood up.

"Was it until...?

The automatic doll (automata) uttered the word while holding on a bit to whether the speech mechanism was damaged or not.
